50 IS NOT OLD | ARE YOU A MEMBER OF THE FUN PATROLThis is the very last Friday left in 2017! What kind of plans do you have for the weekend? Joe and I are not party animals and I would be willing to make a bet that we don’t go anywhere for New Year’s Eve. UNLESS, since Ashleigh is in town she might “make” us have fun. Lol! I am sure we would only do it under protest. I don’t want to dress frumpy but I am guilty of acting frumpy sometimes.50 IS NOT OLD | ARE YOU A MEMBER OF THE FUN PATROLPlease tell me that it is not only me that acts this way. My mind tells me that it would be fun but I can’t talk my body into acting on the notion of going through with the process. If Ashleigh makes me go or participate in an event then I end up having fun and I will be glad that I went. Why do I drag my feet? My kids used to call me the “fun patrol.” They told me that I would say, “If you see fun, move away slowly. Do not engage, do not participate.” It sounds like I might still be a fun patrol member. 50 IS NOT OLD | ARE YOU A MEMBER OF THE FUN PATROLI thought I was going to love this top when I first saw opened my trunk club shipment. I like the sleeve details, I like the material because it is really soft, but I don’t like the crop top length. Why oh why is the crop top coming into style? I feel like it allows my problem area (aka my belly) to be front and center. The imitation pearl detail draws your attention to the feminine folds on the sleeve. This is the type of top that can be dressed up or worn with jeans. That does make the top very versatile!50 IS NOT OLD | ARE YOU A MEMBER OF THE FUN PATROLSince the sleeve has a pearl detail I decided to wear pearls for my jewelry. The Rosemary necklace has been a favorite of mine since I got it. I even bought one for my daughter and both of my daughter-in-laws. I even bought the little girl version for Emersyn and Matti for Christmas. It was a limited time offer that was listed under the specials tab. Make sure you periodically check that tab for some limited offers. The Evie bracelet is what I refer to as my ladybug bracelet is mini pearls on an elastic band. It will fit up to a 9″ wrist. 50 IS NOT OLD | ARE YOU A MEMBER OF THE FUN PATROLI don’t think that I am going to keep these velvet crop pants. The fit was fantastic (size L) and they felt so comfortable but I was afraid that I would not find enough places to wear them. If you go to parties or events then these would be adorable. Velvet is a huge trend this year and so is ruffles. I have been looking at other ruffled crop pants and if these weren’t velvet then I might have considered keeping them. Let me hear what you think! 50 IS NOT OLD | ARE YOU A MEMBER OF THE FUN PATROL If you can get over my pasty white legs then take a look at these classic Coach black pumps. I think a classic black pump is a wardrobe staple. They look good with dresses, slacks, jeans, skirts, or even shorts. I looked for a long time until I found this pair and I have been thrilled with them. I have been looking for the perfect white pump also but so far they have alluded me.

50 IS NOT OLD | ARE YOU A MEMBER OF THE FUN PATROLHave you made any New Year’s resolutions? I want to watch my diet and start eating better. I want to start exercising. I want to pay more attention to my family and friends. I want, I want, I want. Now, it comes down to implementing my wants. Some resolutions are harder than others. I actually had taking care of my skin on my list 2 years ago. That is why in January I had my Energizer Bunny Friend order the Reverse regimen for me. I had no idea how that resolution would change my skin, my available funds, and my life. I know that if I change my diet, exercise, and lose weight that all of that would affect my life but I never expected washing my face would have such a HUGE impact. If you want to also have a New You in the New Year then take the first step. Take the Solutions Tool and email me to see how I can help you.

  1. You whole look is perfect! Ha, I’d keep it all – especially the pants. Love. love.

  2. I REALLY like both of these pieces on you! Very festive.

  3. DANA SMATHERS says:

I absolutely love this outfit on you!

  4. Mary Fender says:

Those pants look awesome on you! I say KEEP!

  5. The velvet pants are so cute! I’m like you about the crop top. A longer top with the pants would be so stunning. I would wear them to church, Really!

  6. HiTania. I actually think the top looks good on you. It doesn’t emphasis any “trouble spots”. Looks very good with those adorable pants.
I’m with you as to New Years. I think I’m over all the partying. Hope you have a good one with your daughter though. Best wishes for a great 2018.

I received my sample & catalogs. My skin did feel super soft. Thanks.

  7. Not a fan of the outfit. As a very tall person, I always fear pants that look like “high water” ones. In my youth finding pants long enough was a problem. They seem to be longer now, but the ankle length just reminds of too short pants.I don’t think cropped tops are a good look for most people. Maybe gymn rats with washboard abs could make it work, but certainly not a look for me. You look lovely as always, that necklace is so pretty with the top.

Yup, exactly the same way…sounds like fun until is time to go and I think staying home in my sweats would be so much better?agree, we must fight the urge! So I joined the Trunk Club with your link and already have one on the way. I expect It will be hit or miss the first few times but willing to give it a shot. I love the top and happen to be ok with shorter tops (not for lack of problem areas) but I think we can try longer camisoles under too. I have several Logo tunics that may go under shorter tops. Not sold on the pants, they look super cute on you and would keep them if you have an upcoming event to wear them to but they also look trendy with the ruffle and they will look dated. Enjoy!

  9. This is a definite great look on you, fun and sexy. I understand the “not getting enough wear” to justify a purchase, but these might be the exception to that rule! Happy New Year to you and your family!

  10. Love the pants! I do not go,out enough to wear them eithet. No to the crop top. They look great on my daughter, not me. Maybe you could give to one of your girls!
