50 IS NOT OLD | ARE YOU A MEMBER OF THE FUN PATROLThis is the very last Friday left in 2017! What kind of plans do you have for the weekend? Joe and I are not party animals and I would be willing to make a bet that we don’t go anywhere for New Year’s Eve. UNLESS, since Ashleigh is in town she might “make” us have fun. Lol! I am sure we would only do it under protest. I don’t want to dress frumpy but I am guilty of acting frumpy sometimes.50 IS NOT OLD | ARE YOU A MEMBER OF THE FUN PATROLPlease tell me that it is not only me that acts this way. My mind tells me that it would be fun but I can’t talk my body into acting on the notion of going through with the process. If Ashleigh makes me go or participate in an event then I end up having fun and I will be glad that I went. Why do I drag my feet? My kids used to call me the “fun patrol.” They told me that I would say, “If you see fun, move away slowly. Do not engage, do not participate.” It sounds like I might still be a fun patrol member. 50 IS NOT OLD | ARE YOU A MEMBER OF THE FUN PATROLI thought I was going to love this top when I first saw opened my trunk club shipment. I like the sleeve details, I like the material because it is really soft, but I don’t like the crop top length. Why oh why is the crop top coming into style? I feel like it allows my problem area (aka my belly) to be front and center. The imitation pearl detail draws your attention to the feminine folds on the sleeve. This is the type of top that can be dressed up or worn with jeans. That does make the top very versatile!50 IS NOT OLD | ARE YOU A MEMBER OF THE FUN PATROLSince the sleeve has a pearl detail I decided to wear pearls for my jewelry. The Rosemary necklace has been a favorite of mine since I got it. I even bought one for my daughter and both of my daughter-in-laws. I even bought the little girl version for Emersyn and Matti for Christmas. It was a limited time offer that was listed under the specials tab. Make sure you periodically check that tab for some limited offers. The Evie bracelet is what I refer to as my ladybug bracelet is mini pearls on an elastic band. It will fit up to a 9″ wrist. 50 IS NOT OLD | ARE YOU A MEMBER OF THE FUN PATROLI don’t think that I am going to keep these velvet crop pants. The fit was fantastic (size L) and they felt so comfortable but I was afraid that I would not find enough places to wear them. If you go to parties or events then these would be adorable. Velvet is a huge trend this year and so is ruffles. I have been looking at other ruffled crop pants and if these weren’t velvet then I might have considered keeping them. Let me hear what you think! 50 IS NOT OLD | ARE YOU A MEMBER OF THE FUN PATROL If you can get over my pasty white legs then take a look at these classic Coach black pumps. I think a classic black pump is a wardrobe staple. They look good with dresses, slacks, jeans, skirts, or even shorts. I looked for a long time until I found this pair and I have been thrilled with them. I have been looking for the perfect white pump also but so far they have alluded me.

50 IS NOT OLD | ARE YOU A MEMBER OF THE FUN PATROLHave you made any New Year’s resolutions? I want to watch my diet and start eating better. I want to start exercising. I want to pay more attention to my family and friends. I want, I want, I want. Now, it comes down to implementing my wants. Some resolutions are harder than others. I actually had taking care of my skin on my list 2 years ago. That is why in January I had my Energizer Bunny Friend order the Reverse regimen for me. I had no idea how that resolution would change my skin, my available funds, and my life. I know that if I change my diet, exercise, and lose weight that all of that would affect my life but I never expected washing my face would have such a HUGE impact. If you want to also have a New You in the New Year then take the first step. Take the Solutions Tool and email me to see how I can help you.

  1. Wow! When I saw the first picture, I thought, Tania looks great in this outfit! I love the sleeve detail on the sweater and the ruffles on the crop pants. I am not a fan of crop top length, but think wearing a longer tank underneath would work to cover my problem area (is that what you have done, here?), if so, it works, if not, you don’t have to worry about that problem area. I love this outfit on you!

  2. Keep the pants! They look great on you, they are eye-catching and unique. The top + pants don’t show a belly but they separate the body not what I call blocks, not a long lean look. But the pants with a longer top would be a great addition to your wardrobe.

  3. Outfit is a classic! You will get lots of wear. ❤️ it!
P.S. Do something fun with your daughter being home?cheers

  4. Those ruffled velvet pants are the “BOMB” on you………you can style them with so many things…..return the top if you’re uncomfortable with crops, but lawsy mercy…you keep those pants!!!!!

  5. This is a great outfit on you!!! As much as i hear your concerns about the crop, it looks like this one divides and conquers while floating away from the body….work it gurl!

    1. It does float away from the body and would look great on a slim person. Not me!

  6. I’m like you I love the look, but how many times will I actually be able to wear them. I’m with you too, on short tops NO! I love flowy looking things much better but the sleeve is cute on this piece! But you do look great!

    1. The sleeve detail is the one thing that would make me think about keeping the top.

I love those pants!! The top is cute but to short for me. Happy New Year!!

    1. It looks like almost everyone like the pants!

  8. Good morning, you look adorable as usual, i don’t think the crop top is a problem at all, but i don’t love the material. You definitely shouldn’t keep something you don’t love. The pants are cute and i have been avoiding velvet even though it is everywhere this year…after seeing you today i might try some on!

    1. The top material is like a sweatshirt. I think it is meant to be comfortable instead of dressy. Velvet IS everywhere. You could start with something small, like velvet trim, if you are not ready to jump on board this trend.

  9. I love the crop top! I am short, so if I can’t find a petite, crops work well. Crop velvet pants would not work for me but they do look cute on you?. I am the one always looking for something fun to do but my better half is the one who steps back. Hmmm, opposites attract?. To all, Happy, Healthy 2018???

    1. Sandy, I bet crop tops are great for you. If my stomach was not an issue then I would like them. When it comes to fun, I want to do fun stuff and Joe is the holdback. BUT, when it comes to the execution he is more fun than I am.

Hi Tania, I like you will probably be home on New Year’s Eve. Up here you never about the weather and one of us has to be a designated driver so it takes the fun out of going out. I love the detail on the top, but you’re right about the length I would like it a little longer. I am not a fan of the pants though. New Years resolutions are eating healthier and exercising. I am starting Advocares 180 program on January 3Rd, along with a ton of other people. The girls and I are meal planning and going to be working out on a daily basis. ?

    1. Being the DD does take the fun out of the equation. Uber is great for that but in our small town, there is no such thing. If someone would cook for me then I could lose weight. It is the time involved with shopping, meal planning, and preparation that I have a hard time with.
