It is pedicure time of the year. You can get away without getting pedicures during the winter, but come spring, you better get an appointment. I wear open-toe shoes and sandals 90 percent of the time, with sneakers making up the other 9.99 percent. I can’t wait to share my finds with you all; get ready for a massive Walmart shoe try-on haul for Spring.

Walmart Shoe Try On Haul – Dress Sandals

I find block heels so much easier to walk in than a stiletto! They don’t sink in the grass or get stuck in sidewalk cracks, and I’m not worried I’ll turn an ankle. Block heels also distribute your weight more evenly across your foot, reducing the pressure on your toes and making them a great option for anyone looking for a heel that won’t hurt their feet.

I love the woven band on these sandals. The two-tone color variation is gorgeous, and this color will go with any outfit you have. This type of sandal is dressy enough to be worn with pantsuits like I wore in this post, or with shorts and jeans.

For some reason, I rarely wear black shoes. The only pair that I wear often are Coach Black Pumps, and I love those with a passion. These block heel shoes are much easier to walk in than the pumps and look equally as nice with dresses, shorts, and jeans. They don’t have a pointy toe like the pumps, but other than that, I like this a lot.

The large gold buckles add a lot of flair and an air of chicness, giving the sandals an air of dressiness. Plus, the croc-embossed heel is a nice style detail. They are also available in brown if you don’t wear black shoes either.

These Flared Heel Mule Sandals are quite different from any I have in my closet. The flared heel is a modern style that I’ve seen a lot in the stores. I like the style of these shoes, but I’m not wild about the color.

This color is called yellow, but it is a funky color. They look ivory but have a slightly more yellow tint than ivory. I’m afraid these are going back because I’m not sure what I would wear them with. I’m wearing my usual size 9, but if I were going to keep them, I would prefer them in a half size up. The back of the shoe has a small lip to hug your foot, and my heel hits on top of the lip.

Walmart Shoe Try On Haul – Casual Sandals

I love spring and summer because sandals are so much easier to wear. You can slip them on and head out the door without having to zip or tug on a boot. Plus, you don’t have to wear socks to keep your tootsies warm. These sandals are casual, but they will still look great with sundress and shorts.

The thong-style sandal is the hardest to get used to wearing. It’s essential that thong sandals fit well to avoid discomfort or blisters. Make sure the straps are not too tight or too loose, and the toe post is comfortable between your toes. I usually size up a half-size to make sure the strap isn’t too tight for me.

This Gold Strappy Flat Sandal is so cute! I love the gold metallic style which will keep you right on trend. These remind me a elevated gladiator sandals, and are a pair you could dress up or down easily.

These sandals have a comfortable footbed, but I wouldn’t recommend you go on long walks with them. When I walk a lot, my ankles tend to swell, and I don’t like anything with a strap around them. Be sure to check out the Great Metallic Shoes and Handbags To Buy Now post I recently did if you are interested in more metallic footwear.

These woven sandals are more casual than the strappy ones above. They are also metallic, but the sheen is more muted and not as shiny. These are also cute and might be the most comfortable of the ones I tried on.

The color I’m wearing is gold, but it looks like champagne to me. The sandals are also available in several other colors if metallics isn’t your thing. I sized up a half-size, and they fit me perfectly.

I was thrilled to see the style of sandals on Walmart’s website. Last year, I bought the Steve Madden Harlene Slide Sandal, and this one is almost identical. I bought the black and raffia versions last year, and they sold out very quickly.

Since the white was sold out last year, I jumped at the chance to get this pair from Walmart. I didn’t think the Steve Madden shoes were a bad price, but these are only $14.98, and you can’t beat that!!!

Love these sandals and love the price! I chuckled a little bit regarding your cleaning out your “closets” comment. I actually would love an entire room to be my “closet”! Love and need and want all mush together when it comes to clothes, shoes, purses, and jewelry. I think you can identify with that lol. Your generational picture is adorable! My mama passed away four years ago at age 99. She was a fashion lover and was wearing skinny jeans, leather bomber jackets, denim jackets, etc right up to the last! She won the title of “Miss Sassy” in a contest at the assisted living facility just a month before her passing. We, too, would go shopping together and come home with bags and bags of clothes, usually from Talbots, her favorite! Thank you for pricking my memory with your cute picture!

What a previous family! It’s wonderful you are so close. Usually the young ones don’t want to hang out with the older ones. I’ll bet you passed along many words of wisdom. I hope they were listening.

    1. I’m not sure too much wisdom I can pass along. Lol!
