LOUNGING AROUND THE HOUSE IN A SOFT AND COZY OUTFIT

I had warned Joe yesterday that I was going to put him on the blog for his comment. So, the first thing that he said to me when I woke up was, “what did all of the gurls say?” Lol! He wasn’t worried at all about what I thought, but he couldn’t stand the thoughts of you gurls fussing at him. I had to laugh at him for worrying about that, and then I had to read him several of the comments.

He sure was glad to hear a few more women who had similar husbands, and he laughed at Linda’s comment about HIM doing the dishes while I walked on the treadmill. Lol! That was a clever response Linda; I’ll have to remember to use that on him again in the future because I am sure that he will stick his foot in his mouth again soon. I did break down and cook spaghetti for him for supper, and he bragged and bragged on how good it was. I think that he thought that I would make him eat crow for supper, so the spaghetti was a welcomed sight. Lol!

I know that I’ve been bringing many dressier options to you lately, so I thought that you might enjoy a soft, cozy, and lounging outfit for today. I recently bought this chenille sweater with the wide ribbing at the hem and sleeves, and it is wonderful! The website showed this as an off-the-shoulder look, but it is too dang cold to be running around in bare shoulders. So, I just wore it as a cowl neck instead, and I think it looks great. This is a thick sweater, and it is very chic looking even though I am wearing it with leggings. I am wearing a medium that fits me fine, but I think that I would like it to be even more oversized. I am seriously thinking about exchanging the medium and ordering the large instead. I love the light teal color, but it is also available in gray if that is not your color. The sweater is on sale for 40% off, so grab it before the sale goes off.

Here is an up-close look at the sweater. I know it is hard to see how nice and thick the material is, so you will have to take my word for it. The jewelry that I am wearing today is the Maggie filigree large hoops and the Tomon gold stretch bracelet set in dark teal. I love the tiny gold beads that make up each bracelet, and I love the slip-on style. I had my hand bent, so you couldn’t see that I was wearing the Phoenix wrap ring in vintage gold. This ring is the only snake that I like. Lol!

Who doesn’t like leggings? I love wearing leggings, but I prefer the Ponte knit version instead of the compression version. I don’t like feeling like a Boa Constrictor has eaten me, and instead, I like the kind that is snuggly. I have several different brands that I really like, and I’ll link to them below. The pair that I have on in this post is by Lou & Grey, and I always size up in leggings so that they don’t fit so tight.

I thought that you might like to see the back view to see the length of the sweater. I decided to wear my Sperry sneakers with today’s look. I had to size down in these and order an 8 1/2 instead of my usual size 9. But, once I sized down, they fit me great. I hardly ever wear socks, but I bet that this look is freezing some of you. Lol!

I saw that several of you were already done with your Christmas shopping and were looking forward to starting the wrapping process. I used to love wrapping and would spends hours wrapping and tying bows. I would buy coordinating wrapping paper, and all of the bows would be hand-tied and elaborate. Now, I am lucky if the package gets put inside a gift bag. Lol! I told my DIL that I would wrap some fake boxes to put under the tree and repeatedly use the same ones year after year.
