50 IS NOT OLD | LONG DUSTER CARDIGAN WITH A DRESSYou gurls are the best! You all made Joe’s day a little nicer with your sweet comments. I told him that my posts NEVER get that many comments unless I am hosting a giveaway. I could watch his head swell as I was talking. I am going to have to remember that formula, put a picture of a good looking man on the blog to increase comments. Lol! I think I can remember that and we will just have to see if it works.50 IS NOT OLD | LONG DUSTER CARDIGAN WITH A DRESSWhen Joe was on FaceBook yesterday I knew the minute my post scrolled past. He said, “Tania, what have you done?” I was all innocent and like I don’t know what you are talking about. He thought I was just telling everyone it was his birthday, he had no idea the entire post was all about him. He laughed and laughed at some of the photos and then made comments about being young and thin. It is good to go down memory lane occasionally. If you missed the post, go here.50 IS NOT OLD | LONG DUSTER CARDIGAN WITH A DRESSThis blog post is utilizing the same trick that I told you about in this post here. In that post, I used a scarf to change the look of the outfit. In today’s post, I used something different but we’ll talk about that later on. Instead, I was just wondering if you can tell my teeth are getting any whiter? I have started using something (I’ll tell everyone after my trial period is up) and I think I can already start to see the difference. I don’t know if it is the red lipstick making them look brighter and whiter or if they are truly starting to change. What do you think? Can you see any difference?50 IS NOT OLD | LONG DUSTER CARDIGAN WITH A DRESSFirst things first. It is time to talk jewelry and boy this jewelry shines. This short necklace is called Dalia. This is one of those items that whenever you wear it people will make comments. It is a striking piece. The colors are not something that I would have picked out to go together but I am glad they did. It has pink and gray but it also has a topaz color. The topaz just matched the dress I am wearing.50 IS NOT OLD | LONG DUSTER CARDIGAN WITH A DRESSThe matching bracelets are called Cecelia and Broedrick. I really love the baby pink color of the Broedrick and I like that it has a magnetic closure. I am not the most coordinated person out there. I think that is also why I like long necklaces, they are so easy to just slip over your head. Speaking of long necklaces, this one is called the Mykla. I am going to warn you that because of new items coming out in April there are a lot of items that are retiring. There is already a long list of items that are out of stock, so if you have been waiting to purchase something just don’t wait too long. Lol! I closed my last party and opened a new one. I bet you can guess what the name is….www.plunderdesign.com/party/tania4 EVERY purchase (for the rest of March) over $50.00 (excluding tax and shipping) will be getting a 15% off discount check from me.50 IS NOT OLD | LONG DUSTER CARDIGAN WITH A DRESSMy Dooney & Bourke purse and Marc Fisher boots look like they were made for each other. I have gotten in a habit of grabbing them both because they match so well. In the winter when I wear of dress I will either wear tights, leggings, or tall boots. I don’t want anyone looking at my pasty white legs that might be in need of a razor.

50 IS NOT OLD | LONG DUSTER CARDIGAN WITH A DRESSI am not sure what color you call this dress. It is gold but not a “true” gold. It is a chartreuse but a dark chartreuse. I loved the way the dress is made in the back. (I’ll show that to you the next time I wear it) I bought the dress for a couple of reasons. One was because of the style and one was because it was really cheap. I am just being honest. At 75% off and only costing 18.00, I knew that I would be able to get my money’s worth of wear from it. BUT, I wasn’t too sure how the color would look with my skin tone. Here is where I employed the trick we talked about earlier. I had planned on adding a scarf to change up the look like I did in the earlier post, but instead decided to add this Lisa Rinna long blue duster. The blue duster looks so much better around my face and helps to bring out the blue in my eyes. I like the length of this duster and I like that it has pockets. This is my first Lisa Rinna purchase and so far I am impressed.

50 IS NOT OLD | LONG DUSTER CARDIGAN WITH A DRESSI know a lot of you have expressed interest in Rodan and Fields but are holding off because of the price. I was right there with you so I COMPLETLY understand. What if I told you there was a way that you could purchase the products for yourself at cost, you could own your own company, and you could decide if or when you wanted to sell the products? There is, and the best thing is that it only will cost you $45.00!!! Here is the downside, though, there are no products at that cost. The $45.00 will only give you the ability to purchase the products. Wondering about quotas, minimum purchases, fees? 2. That kind of dusters over a dress are wonderful! I love it that way especially with boots!

    1. I love it with the boots also, Nancy!

  3. I gave that sweater in three different colors and I love it! It’s so soft and it comes in petite so it’s not overwhelming on those of us who are short. It’s very cute with your dress and boots!

    1. You are right, Michelle! The overstock store had the gold color also but it was in too large a size for me. I was so surprised at how much I liked this one when I tried it on at home.

  4. I went shopping yesterday (a big sale day here) and just wanted to mention that you were on my mind the entire time. I normally wear a lot of black. It looks good on me and since I travel for a living I can reduce luggage by sticking with this. But, now all I want is color, color, color! You have certainly rubbed off on me!

    1. Brenda, that makes me smile! My sister is the exact same way, almost everything in black and gray. I have a story about this that I think I will tell on tomorrow’s blog. Thanks for the reminder. Lol!

  5. I love your look today! I need to find a duster like that….I also love Jeffrey Dean Morgan! ❤

    1. Your welcome, Shelia! ?

  6. HaHa Tania, thanks for the eye candy at the end;) love the color combo and have been combining orange and navy but had not thought of chartreuse and navy-genius! I have a dusty pink duster I have not worn yet and you just inspired me to go for it today. I think I’ll do navy with it for contrast with a scarf to tie it all up. Have a fabulous day!

    1. Cristina, as soon as I read dusty pink duster I thought, “I would wear navy with that!” Lol!!!

  7. Your pearly whites look good there Tania ?. I absolutely enjoy reading your blog every morning. I have Folgers in my cup, Tania on my phone and a smile on my face to start my day. Nice pic of the man too….handsome and rugged. I’m looking forward to your spring attire considering we have had a little winter weather here in NC….thank goodness not as much as others. ~Lisa~

    1. Lisa, I have Folgers Columbian Supreme in my cup. Joe won’t have anything else. Haha! We have tried Starbuck and even bought some McDonalds coffee to make at the house, but her always goes back to his Folgers.

  8. That’s a lovely dress but I agree, the colour could have been a bit overpowering, the duster compliments it beautifully. Every time I see you in a dress Tania, I wish I had more! The Dalia necklace is striking and so is the eye candy ?

    1. I aim to please, Caroline. You are most welcome for the eye candy. Lol!

  9. Michelle Mosteller says:

Happy belated to Joe! Love the duster with a dress! Perfect!
