LEOPARD PRINT AND PUMPKINS MAKE A GREAT COMBINATION
Friday is finally here, and I am ready to start the weekend. I am already in “chill” mode, and I am looking forward to spending a lovely weekend at home. It’s not like I’ve been going to many places lately, but that is not a bad thing. I am enjoying sprucing up around the house and just spending time with Joe in the afternoon. The inside of my home is nowhere near finished, but I’ve now set my sights on the side entrance to my house. I shared an Instagram story about how blah it looks and asked for some suggestions. You gurls didn’t disappoint me!!!
I knew the issues that I was having. The lights are too small and too high, plus they are all yellowed from age. There needed to be some height added to the sides like a topiary or something, and the brass plate and welcome mat looked crazy with just one of each of them. I was also thinking about adding a header or something over the door, especially if the hole for the lights is so high that it looks off.
So, after a lot of great comments and ideas for some amazing ladies, I’ve ordered some new items. It isn’t going to be a quick turnaround, though, since several things are three weeks out. But, I thought you might like to see what I’ve ordered and see what you think about my choices. First off, I am adding a large outdoor black and cream buffalo plaid rug, and I have a large welcome mat that will go over the rug. They will span the length of both doors, so that will help it look more cohesive. I have two black lights ordered, and two large black planter urns are also ordered. I plan on painting the doors black so that they match my front door and brightening up the white trim. After everything comes in, I’ll add two wreaths to the door, and then I will decide about a door topper. Do you gurls have any more suggestions???

I also ordered a smaller buffalo plaid rug to go under my welcome mat at my front door, and if I like the lights when they come in, then I’ll order a matching light for the front as well. Whew! This sprucing up the house is exhausting!!! I would much rather focus on fashion as I would home decor. ????
Animal print and pumpkins, what’s not to like? I saw this adorable Screenprinted tee the other day, and I quickly ordered it because holiday attire sells out quickly. I was thrilled to see that this t-shirt is still in stock, so all of you can grab this cutie also. I ordered a large because I like oversized when it comes to my t-shirts. The option of wearing it long with leggings or tying it in a knot is what I want. This is super cute, and the t-shirt is a nice thick and heavyweight, so I think that you’ll like your purchase.
My gold jewelry compliments, instead of competing against my look. I wanted the pumpkin graphic tee to be the star of the show, and my jewelry to be the supporting item. The earrings are the Kaia hoop earrings, which are a statement earring, but they are not overly large and showy. My dainty necklace is an 18″ gold vermeil thin chain and a cross gold vermeil charm. I love this necklace, and I don’t think that I’ve taken it off since I got it about a week ago. Lastly, is the Fallyn bracelet that I wear all of the time.
My long black cardigan is old, and it is a no-name brand. Seriously, I looked inside the cardigan, and there isn’t a label. I have no idea where this came from, but black cardigans are everywhere, so I’ll list some below for you. A long cardigan is one of my favorite ways to hide any lumps and bumps, and I think that they help create a long, lean look.
I know that you’ve seen these black high-rise skinny jeans by Madewell several times before. There is a reason for that…I LOVE them! They are soft and comfy, and you know that I love some distressing, so these are my go-to for black jeans. The distressing is very small, so these are what I call an “entry-level” jean for those who aren’t on the distressed jeans bandwagon. I ordered these jeans in size 30 (my normal size), but they were a little snug, so I re-ordered them in a 31, and now they fit great! I cuffed the jeans so that my ankle boots would show better, but I could also wear them with flats or heels if I wanted. Here are a few black jeans with NO distressing for those who are not fans.
Gurls, look at my fern!!! You don’t understand, I’ve never had such a pretty and healthy-looking fern. Usually, my ferns are turning brown and barely hanging on by this time of the year. I am seriously considering moving this into my office for the winter. What do I need to do to make sure that I don’t also bring in lots of creep-crawly creatures?
Sorry, I got distracted. Let’s talk about my Rebecca Minkoff black tassel hobo handbag. I am crushing on this bag right now! The huge tassels and the slouchy hobo style are right down my style alley. I consider this a medium-sized bag, and it is large enough to hold everything that I need, but not so big and bulky that it gets in the way. A black leather moto jacket is on my Black Friday list, so I can’t wait to carry this bag with the jacket that I am hoping to score at a great price.
I wanted to make sure that everyone knows about the TWO specials I am running until the end of the month. The first is on LASH BOOST!!! You’ve seen my eyelashes, now look at my daughters.
My daughter was always blessed with long, pretty lashes, so she didn’t think that she needed Lash Boost. WRONG! Look at her excellent results!!! She likes to rub it in that her lashes are longer than mine. Lol! This month only, purchase Lash Boost as my Preferred Customer and get a $20.00 discount from ME. If you are a brand new customer, I will reimburse you for the 19.95 one-time enrollment fee. Plus, as my PC, you will get a 10% discount off the retail pricing and FREE shipping!
Even though my daughter is in her early 30s, she still needs a good skincare regimen. However, the issue with her was that she had sensitive skin. As you can see, her skin was red, blotchy, and extremely dry. Soothe to the rescue! Here are her before and after results from using our Soothe regimen and Active Hydration Serum for a year. WOW! That is quite a difference.
My other special is going to be, purchase one of our four core regimens (Redefine, Reverse, Soothe, or UnBlemish), add Active Hydration Serum, and I’ll gift you Redefine Multi-Function Eye Cream. (64.00 value for FREE) Purchase MUST be made as my Preferred Customer. This offer is good for existing and new PCs, and yes, I’ll reimburse the enrollment fee. I don’t think that you should ever have to pay to be my customer. If you are not sure what regimen to use, then take the Solutions Tool and see what they recommend.
To order any product, go to my website, place items in the shopping cart, go to checkout and click JOIN PC PERKS, fill out the billing and shipping info, and click PLACE ORDER!

Tania you know I love leopard print and pumpkins! That bag is gorgeous, as is your fern! Definitely take it in and save it this winter! Just spray it first w an insect spray and be sure to mist it once or twice a week inside! And you know my fav thing is decorating so I love all your new decore! I think a Bible verse or a sign about Me & my house… would look great above the doors. Happy Fall!
A pergola or arbor would look nice at your doors but wouldn’t want to hide the great fixtures you purchased. Framing around the brick setback and adding trim would look nice too.
I have tried to bring a fern into the house several times in the past. It is very tempting when you have one as pretty as yours when the weather starts getting cool and you know it’s days are numbered. However, I gave up on the idea because they always end making a huge mess with all of the leaves that they drop. It just causes too much extra work. I would rather just purchase a new one every summer.
love your outfit and the home spruce up- maybe you can put your fern in the garage for a few days to de-critter it before you bring it in- if you bring it in make sure you have a large container underneath to collect water and mist it regularly if you don’t have a lot of humidity ( I live in the West – NO humidity here and love and drool over your gorgeous ferns….)
We just killed a copperhead snake hiding under some leaves in our backyard. When I saw your sweater I thought it was a curled up snake!! LOL This is a great outfit now that I know it’s a leopard pumpkin. Boots are adorable. It’s al in the details. I have those same urns and rug. I put pointsettas in mine at Christmas. I used a black metal, back plate behind my lights, it made them stand out more.
Thank you for sharing your decorating ideas! I have a hard time knowing what to do in areas and it was helpful to see your face dead . I love the buffalo check rug!
I do love that black purse with tassels really looks beautiful & expensive
I read your post every day and I loved the leopard pumpkin T-shirt so much that I have ordered one for myself. Question: Is there a secret to tying the knot like you are styling your shirt? I seem to really struggle with tying a knot in a T-shirt, yet I love that look!
