LEOPARD IS STILL KING

When someone tells you that you look good, it makes your day! I am working more than usual this week at the lumber company, and it is hard for me to get back in the daily routine of getting moving in the mornings. It was almost 11:00 when I finally was able to drag myself into work, and I was feeling rushed and frazzled. But, as I walked in the door, one of the ladies commented that she liked my outfit. My eyes lit up, and my entire outlook changed.
I am sure that you are like me; we all like to get a compliment every now and again. I enjoyed this particular comment, because it was coming from a nineteen-year-old. When you are fifty-nine, getting a compliment from someone that age is pretty major!!! Let me rephrase that, when you are fifty-nine, getting a compliment from “anybody” is pretty major. LOL!!! So, when you are out running errands, remember to give out lots of compliments, they are free and impactful. Go ahead…make someone’s day!
My snow leopard tee is one that I bought from the Loft earlier this year. In case you were wondering, leopard print is still very hot. snakeskin and zebra prints are the two hottest animal prints for the coming fall, but leopard is still everywhere in the stores. I linked to a lot of different snow leopard options just in case that you are not someone who wears tees.

I love these black and white acrylic earrings. I have worn them before, but I haven’t taken pictures before. These are a half-moon style and are a 2.25″ drop. The acrylic earrings are very popular right now, and part of the reason is that they are very lightweight. The silver link bracelet is the Madijeanne and the white boho bracelet is the Nevada.
The Kalyn pearl necklace is the perfect length for a v-neck or a round neck top. I call it my dainty necklace. My silver infinity cross necklace is one that I bought through Meredith, a blog reader. I wanted to wear a colored pant with this top. My first choice was a bright orchid colored pant, but they were too tight for my liking, so I went back to the drawing board. This beautiful sky blue pair was my next choice, and I think the best choice. I didn’t pay attention to the tag, but I think that these are a pair from the Loft also. I remember buying a pair this color earlier this year, but I am starting to lose track from where all of my clothing comes from. The baby blue looks great with the leopard print, especially when you remember that leopard is a neutral.
