KUHFS ARE A PERFECT ACCESORY

 

It’s finally Friday!!! Has it been the longest week of the year for anybody else? I am counting down the hours till 4:00 p.m. Saturday. That is when I will finally get to take a deep breath and relax. A weekend is made for relaxing with family and friends, going to the lake, and having barbecue’s. Instead mine this weekend is filled with protocol, pomp and circumstance.

Tonight we, (members of my woman’s club) will be taking the GFWC  Virginia Woman’s Club President and 3rd Vice-President out to dinner and for a little karaoke. I am not going to lie, I dread this, almost as bad as a root canal. I am shy by nature, but since I am the President of the District, it is my job to be the hostess. I will need to welcome everybody and be charming and entertaining. If that is not bad enough, there is the matter of karaoke. Pleassssse! Don’t make me sing! I don’t even like listening to my own self sing, much less let anyone else hear me. Nothing good can come out of this. Maybe they will have some of the songs, that I have stuck in my head, on the machine. Haha Or, maybe they will have massive amounts of alcohol. Not for me, but so that the ones listening won’t remember what I sounded like. Lol!

This outfit was ok, nothing to holler and scream about. I love each piece of the outfit. But it just didn’t have any oomphf. Then I remembered my Kuhfs that Amy Olsen, the owner and creator, sent me to try. I had been putting off wearing them because I had in mind wearing them on my tiffany blue Hunter boots, and it has not rained since I got them. Today was the perfect day. I already had on a shirt that matched the Kuhfs, and the look was blah without some kind of accessory. I knew I was going to like these the moment I saw the packaging. Amy has really outdone herself. Even the box they shipped in was high quality. I opened the box, and before I even unwrapped them, the paperwork and tissue paper was top notch. When there is that much attention to detail, you know the product is made the same way. I was right. These are made from a heavy duty jersey/cotton material, and they will last for years to come. The Kuhfs are unique, and unlike anything I have ever owned. I actually saw Jo-Lynne style these back in the summer, and wanted a pair so badly, but in typical me fashion I couldn’t make up my mind which pair I wanted. When Amy contacted me, the dilemma was still there. There is so many cute patterns to choose from, how do you pick just one. Well, I didn’t. I picked two! Haha
I mean just look how cute these are! This style is called “Girl Next Door”, even if I hadn’t liked these colors, I would have picked them because of the name. That is what Joe tells me all the time, “You are like the girl next door.” I picked this style because I thought they would go with so many different outfits. Obviously blue jeans, but white, gray, black, and couldn’t you just see these on my mint green jeggings. You probably won’t have to wonder, I will be getting a lot of wear out of these this summer, so you will be seeing them again.Putting them on is not hard, after you actually read the instructions. I was putting them on upside down the first time. (I will attach a video for those like me who hate to read instructions.) You simply measure where you want the back flap to end, and then pin (special pin) them to your pants hem and through a little pocket on the Kuhfs. They also have a special silicone type lining on the inside of the Kuhf to keep them from sliding. I jumped up and down, just to check it out, and they held in place.

Be sure to tell Amy that Tania said “hi” when you go to her site. I can’t wait to wear these again. Maybe you can start doing a rain dance, so I can try them with my boots. Make sure you video that and send it to me. If I give you a laugh in the mornings, you could reciprocate. Haha! They’re waiting…….
