J.Jill’s Latest Styles For Summer 2024
I’m starting to like these try-on hauls since I don’t have to do them in the stores. My items are steamed, I have my shoes and jewelry handy, and there aren’t spotty mirrors to distract from the clothing. Today’s clothing is J.Jill’s latest styles for summer, and just wait until you see all the beautiful clothing I styled. There is something for everyone, from neutrals to bright colors and from solids to bold prints.
J.Jill’s Latest Styles For Summer – June 2024
Neutrals
While I love wearing colorful clothing, neutrals are the backbone of every closet. They are items that can be worn with anything, including your most colorful outfits. I’ve found myself gravitating toward neutrals this year, and I’m not sad about it. My closet is more rounded, and I have more options on what to wear than ever before.
I also love wearing mixed metal jewelry because it can be worn with anything. The MagneticMix™ Mixed Metal Necklace is a fun piece, that can be worn in many ways. Versatile clothing and jewelry are what I like buying most because I can get more wear for my money.
The Printed Textured Ruana looks great over the oatmeal colored Sleeveless Layering Tunic and Smooth-Fit Knit Jeans. It adds visual interest and covers my upper arms.
You might have seen me mention a few hundred times before, but in case you missed it, I love pairing white and beige/camel/khaki together. I think the color combination is chic and classy, plus it can be worn in the fall.
The Coconut Utility Popover Shirt gives off a Safari vibe to me. The collared v-neck and front pockets are nice features, along with the cuffed short sleeves. The shirt runs true to size and is available in a couple of other colors.
I added the Blissful Rays Horn Statement Necklace to the look, and I think it ties in nicely with the safari vibe. The toggle closure allows it to be adjusted from 21″ to 35″.
The white High Rise Wide Leg Jeans are not from J.Jill. These were a pair I had in my closet, and I love how they look with the coconut shirt. I couldn’t find a belt to wear with the outfit, but that would have given the outfit a finished look.
Stripes
Stripes have been very popular this year. Most of the time, they are either vertical or horizontal, but this shirt combines both for an unusual look.
I like that the pocket and cuffs on the Stepped-Hem Button-Front Shirt are horizontal, while the remainder of the shirt is vertical. Details like this add visual interest and make your outfit more appealing and fun. I’m wearing a medium, and it fits great. Not too tight and not too loose.
You could wear the shirt unbuttoned with a white tank underneath or tied at the waist as I’ve done here. This helps to make your legs look longer, and that gives the illusion of being taller and thinner.
J.Jill’s Latest Styles In Blue
Whenever I see a description that contains the words convertible, reversible, or versatile, I perk up. I like it when I can wear clothing in more than one way. This Convertible-Shoulder Ruffled Top is a great example. Some women don’t like to wear strapless bras or show their shoulders, so they would prefer to wear this top on the shoulders.
Others might like to show off their shoulders since they are one of the areas on our bodies that don’t show our age. Hands and upper arms might tell our age, but the shoulders keep them guessing.
You knew I would have to include a few colorful and statement pieces in my try-on haul!
The Sleeveless Button-Front Top is so soft and comfortable. It has a relaxed fit, so you don’t have to worry about your lumps and bumps showing or it clinging to you. It is 60% cotton and 40% Tencel™ modal knit and machine washable. I love the sailor blue color, but it is also available in yellow and black.
Where are my gurls who love silky, statement styles? These Silky-Soft Full-Leg Crops are made just for YOU! I admit these were one of my favorite items for this haul, and I think they would look gorgeous with a white or navy satin blouse. They look great and feel like you are wearing pajamas because they have an elasticized waist. Lol! I call that a win-win!
Crops
Crop pants are always popular in summer. This year, you are seeing more wide-leg crops than ever before, and I like the relaxed fit and style. Now that they’ve gotten all of us used to wearing relaxed and wide-leg pants, it’s probably time for them to start showing skinny pants again. Lol!
The Wide-Leg Welt-Pocket Crops feature a frayed hem and patch-style pockets that are trending. I’m wearing my usual size 8, but they are tight through the waist. If you are between sizes, you might want to size up.
How cute is this One-Pocket Shirred-Back Shirt? Am I the only one who thought of a bandana when you saw the print? The color block shirt is fun and lively looking, and I think it looks great with the crop jeans. You could wear this with shorts or pants, and I bet it would look great with white or navy.
The back yoke and the placket down the front feature a third pattern. This shirt has a lot of visual interest!
J.Jill’s Latest Styles Are Colorful
I never thought I would describe J.Jill clothing as colorful! They used to carry on beige, gray, navy, black, navy, and white clothing. If you found a colorful top, it was like finding a needle in a haystack. Not anymore!!! I can now count on them to have all the fun, colorful, vibrant clothing that I love.
Look how fun this Relaxed Ruffle Top is! I love the paisley print and the shades of pink, fuchsia, and cream. The ruffles as the neckline and sleeves are small and feminine. The only thing you need to watch out for is the sizing. The description mentions that the top is relaxed; I say it is oversized. I’m wearing a medium, and I had to pin it just to show it to you. You definitely need to size down in this top.
I’ll take one of every color in the Easy Linen Wide-Leg Crops! They feel so good and are lightweight, which is perfect for summer. The front features a zip and button closure, while the back is elasticized. Here is the link for the same crops in white, blueish, and brownish. They are 100% linen and machine washable. I’m wearing a medium, and they fit great.

Verse Of The Day
Mark 6:31-32 NIV
31 Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” 32 So they went away by themselves in a boat to a solitary place.

You look good in all J.Jill. That’s your style and fit.
I completely agree with you!
Oh you’re so lucky to have such a huge closet that you don’t have eve inch packed with clothes!! Lol!
Beautiful outfits!
Love all the neutrals!
I always think of neutral colors & patterns when I think of J.Jill, but you’ve made me think differently with this blog! I really like the striped step-hem blouse you shared today. (And Joe is a real sweetie for fixing your plant watering situation. The new hose looks like a winner!)
If that’s your closet, I totally love it. Much roomier and nicer than using a dressing room. I’m sure you know this, but Rodan + Fields is giving away a free pumping lip oil with the purchase of Lash Boost. Good time for all your followers to purchase!! I did!!
I did NOT see that! Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I’m loving the plumping lip oil, a lot of the time that is all I’m wearing in my photos.
I’m a big JJill fan. I love everything you tried on. You looked great in everything.
I have been really impressed with the summer styles so have started beefing up my closet this year.
I am with you, Tania, I love the silky wide leg blue print pants! I love color too but also the beige/white/black category! Love this post! Thank you!
Blessings,
I love the ruana! It would be a little too voluminous for me, though, unless I wore it over a tank and shorts. 🙂
My favorites are the camel and white outfit and the blue and floral crop. I usually like color, but the camel/white outfit was calling my name. Especially the necklace.
That was so sweet of Joe. I have two of those hoses and they’re great. Enjoy your flowers.
I haven’t gotten on the wide leg pants yet! Still sporting my skinny leg pants.
Love some of the outfits, lol. Is that your closet ? Where are all the clothes ? Have a great weekend.
Lol! I don’t like clutter and clothing behind me when I’m taking photos, so clothing is in other places. Hahaha!
I love those lightweight hoses.
Way to go Joe! I took a screenshot of the hose to share with my husband. I am quite impressed that there are empty racks behind you in these pictures. If my clothes had gaps that needed to be filled, I would give JJill a try, with the fuchsia & pink outfit, as well as the royal blue outfit. All of the outfits you shared are so nice, but those are my two favorites. I hope y’all are staying cool. Our heat index will be in the triple digits today and tomorrow, here in south central Georgia, so we are being urged to remain inside. My husband nor I can tolerate the heat, so we are definitely staying inside.
I saw that the east was going to have a heat wave this coming week. It has been fairly cool here this summer with temps only around 80.
Loving the wide legged crops. Great twist to boring crops. Thanks! And your planters are beautiful!
Such cute styles from J Jill! Love the sailor blue outfit, the cropped wide leg jeans and the linen crops. Thanks for all these wonderful choices! Joe is so thoughtful and handy – better keep him around !
I like the off the shoulder top
There ate SO many cute items in this post!!! I LOVE the layering tunic! Tania, I am still all about the tuck…I just think its more flattering…but, that’s just me. Happy Saturday❤❤❤
Love the first four outfits. The word Safari brought back memories of all the safari style jackets I’ve had in the past. I have a light camel shirt with a safari vibe that I bought at Express probably in the early 2000s. It still looks good and I’m going to start wearing it more often.
The ruana is GORGEOUS
The plant is beautiful, too. So nice of your husband to take care of you!
My favorites are the tan popover shirt and the convertible ruffle top but they all look great on you!
Lots of cute options!
Love love love you in those blue colors. Everything you try on looks good on you. I struggle being 6′. Sometimes those crops just hit me wrong.
As for the hose, we have those at our shore house. Makes watering around the house a breeze and easy to coil up when finished!
Love these outfits from JJill!
Joe is a sweetheart!!
You look fantastic in the ruana and oatmeal colored outfit. Just sassy!
Pretty plant. Happy Joe saved the day!
I wish I had a J Jill close to me. I love that store. I get tired of ordering online and having to ship things back if they don’t work out.
Cute choices!
I agree 💯
Is there an “unwritten“ rule about the type of tops that need to be worn with wide leg pants? Tucked in or shirts short in length?
Generally, you want to wear a slimmer fitting shirt with wide-leg pants and jeans. If your shirt is too bulky or wide, then you can tuck it in or tie it so that it appears slim fitting. Also, if the top is cropped or tucked in, your legs will appear longer which is especially helpful for Petite ladies.
Love that mixed print shirt!! So 70’s! I remember sewing clothes with different prints!
My husband recently did the same thing with our hose and spigot. I hated watering my plants since it was such a hassle rolling and unrolling the heavy hose. Even then I couldn’t reach some. Now with the light weight hose it is such a breeze!
It is amazing how something so small can make me so happy~
I was at JJill yesterday and tried on the wide leg cropped jeans that you have. I am an apple shaped and wear a 14P. They were actually loose in the waist on me. I loved the red ones so have ordered them. Keeping my fingers crossed that they will fit the same as the blue. Thanks for showing us all the great styles!!
I hope they will fit the same. J.Jill normally runs a little big, but this pair was tight on me. Maybe I grabbed the wrong size or have gained weight. Lol!
Tania- Please tell us how you tie shirts in front?? It looks so good!!!
Paula, it is actually easy. I unbutton the top a few buttons, then I take the part of the top that is on top (usually the side with the buttons). I tie the shirt, making sure that the knot looks even. When you do the second tie, make sure to keep the top portion of the shirt on top. I hope this makes sense. Lol!
The J.Jill summer styles and colors are my favorite thus far.
Thank you for being such an inspiration for us ladies over 55
I’m loving this year’s styles from J.Jill!
So many lovely, colorful items! They look great on you, Tania. I have a handy husband too. So glad Joe was able to help. Plants look great. Quick question. With all the beautiful clothes you have, how is there any empty space in your closet, lol? Happy Summer! Lots of rain here in S Fla., but we needed it. Hope stops soon though. 😎
I was just at J Jill and actually bought a few of these beautiful items!! Love your style!
Lots of great items here, thanks Tania!
I have never shopped at j Jill. They have cute clothes!
Their clothing is great!
Love all the bright, beautiful colors!
I love the fuchsia cropped pants and top!
My fav is first outfit. Major vacay vibes.
Re Joe and the hose: Men who know how to fix things and solve problems with their heads and hands are so sexy. I’m fortunate to have a Joe version!
I love that he can fix things…usually. Once I was wanting a new washer and dryer, and every time one of them tore up, he fixed it. I finally yelled at him to STOP fixing them, that I wanted a new pair. Lol! He laughed, and bought me what I was wanting.
I have that same hose and I love it
It is fabulous! It is also available in shorter lengths, but even the 100ft. one was lightweight.
Love the outfits from JJill. Linen is my go-to for the summer. Way to go Joe! Those plants are beautiful.
Love, love these neutrals. Found so many choices I saved for later.
Love the blue print reversible top!
Tania, I can’t get over your beautiful closet but how do you reach the top drawers? I am guessing a ladder?
Yes, I have a small two step ladder that I use. I like the ones with a handle since they make me more stable. I don’t want to fall. Lol!
All gorgeous clothing and look great on you. Too bad those darling linen pants are not in white or beige. Not sure if I will wear the bright colors but they are pretty!
They are available in those colors. Dang it, my link didn’t show up in my post, but I fixed that. Here it is for you: https://bit.ly/45uA5H1
Love all these outfits! So fresh and colorful!! Your hair looks great, love the new cut and the way you are styling it!! I love the new lightweight hoses , we got them a while back and watering is so much easier now!!! Joe is a gem!!!
Loving these colorful finds! Thanks for the reviews
Love the shades of green ruana! Also, the jeans look great and would be a good stand -in for khaki pants.
You can always rely on your man to come up with a solution. I bet you’ll keep him around!
So many cute options to pick from. Is the tank you featured with the knit jeans actually white?
I guess I’ll keep him! Lol!
Wide legs are not for shorties like me!
Cute options, sadly there is not a J.Jill close to me. If I shopped online and didn’t like, returns would be harder. Love the silky look crop pants in royal blue.
