IT IS FRI-YAY
FRI-DAY or FRI-YAY? Which one is it for you today? I am full out on the FRI-YAY! I am so ready to chill and take a break. I went to an event last night which was 2-hours away. Remember, everything is almost 2 hours away for me. Lol! This was a similar event to the one that I went to last month when my Energizer Bunny Friend rolled my car into a pole in the parking lot. We went together again but THIS time we drove HER car. Lol!!! She is still begging us to go and have the car fixed but Joe told her today that “we are not defined by our car.” Our car is now like us, a little beat up in a few spots. Hahaha!
I went last night to watch how the event was organized, decorated, and to listen to what was said. I even took a video of the whole thing BECAUSE next month “I” have to do all of that. I have to get up in front of everyone in attendance and talk and ask questions to the panel. Energizer Bunny will be a member of the panel which will make it a little easier. This is part of my getting out of my comfort zone. This is part of my growth as a speaker. This is me “doing” and not just saying. If I would only apply this to my eating and exercising habits. Lol! I can’t believe that I have waited until I am in my 50’s to get brave but at least I finally did. Unless I pass out in front of everyone I am going to count the night as a success. I will be sure to let you know all about it in the coming month.
Yes, I am still in my laid back and take a chill pill mood. I know that I will eventually break out of this but to tell you the truth, I am kind of enjoying it. I have had one of two people tell me lately that I might be sick because I am not all “fancy.” I can’t believe anyone even though I was fancy. Lol! I don’t even know which silverware you eat with unless I watch a refresher course on Pretty Woman. Lol! Today I have a black cowl neck sweater on today. I wore this back in December (here) in a very similar look. A lot of you comment that I don’t repeat my clothing very often. However, I do repeat items but I try to change things up so that you don’t notice as much. You gurls will notice more than just an average Joe walking down the street. That is the key. Don’t wear the exact same items together over and over. Change an item around, add an accessory or two, and it will help to look like you have a lot more clothing then you really do. This sweater is several years old and it is made by a brand called Cupio.

Always love black and any shade of khaki and brown. Love the whole look!
You always look so nice! The ideas you give….don’t know why anyone would comment! They must not have a vision of their own!
Yep! Today’s look is simple—like SIMPLY FABULOUS!! I love black and camel and leopard together. But what I like best about your post today was the wisdom: “we are not defined by our car” and the cute “Fri-yay”. Since I am a retiree, every day is Fri-yay. You created a most excellent post today! Gold star. I have total confidence in your presentation next month. You’ll look good and sound poised. You will OWN that room!
You always look so put together and I’m enjoying your daily writing. Very relatable. Your hair always looks perfect. Could you share styling tips and the procedure you follow?
I love this simple, casual, fun outfit! It looks perfect for most of my days. I love the shoes! Have a great weekend!
It is definitely FRI-YAY here. I am meeting my daughter half way (we live at opposite ends of our state) at a big mall tomorrow!! Excited to shop some of the ideas I’ve gotten from you, Tania. I love Black and Tan together. I have a black cowl neck sweater and never thought about wearing a necklace like you have on !!
Shari, that sounds like so much fun!!!
I can’t wait. We are shopping buddies. I know I can trust her to tell me if something really looks good or ridiculous. Every girl needs that one person
My car is the exact same way…it has hail damage, but I always says it gives it character. I mean, heck, I have scars all over myself!!!
Love the leopard shoes and happy weekend!!
XOXO

Jodie, we are all characters with flaws. Embrace the uniqueness that is you!
I need a pop of colour or print everyday or I feel blah. That’s one of the reasons I wear pirple rimmed glasses and a purse that is something other than black.
Janet, when I wore readers every day they had sparkles and lots of colors. I hardly ever carry a black purse but they do go with everything!
I agree that this is a great outfit and an appropriate end to the week. I am battling a cold and can’t wait to lay back down after work….just got up but want to lay back down! That’s how my Friday is shaking! The flats really are adorable! Have a great weekend…best Kathy
Kathy, I hate that you are feeling bad. Thankfully, the weekend will be here so that you can get some rest.
good morning Tania, I feel like the print flats are your “pop” today! I don’t always feel like an actual color is the pop, some days it is jewelry or a print. I was looking at some old posts yesterday and noticed that sweater, I love it, it looks so cozy. Have a great day.
Mary, that is funny. I have become so use to a leopard print that I consider it a neutral and forget that it is a “pop” on its own.
Another fabulous look. Love the cuff!
Thanks, Jo. The cuff is adjustable and you can change the pendant on it if you have a different one that you want to wear.
Tania I am interested in Rodan Fields
