50 IS NOT OLD | IT IS ALL ABOUT THE PRINTSDid everyone survive Friday the 13th??? I actually like Friday the 13th because that is the day that my parents got married on. I was almost born on Friday the 13th but instead, I made it to Saturday the 14th. I have never been superstitious, in fact, black cats were my pet of choice when I was growing up. I think I must have had 5 or 6 black cats and I always named them the very same thing.50 IS NOT OLD | IT IS ALL ABOUT THE PRINTSI have no idea where I came up with the names, Ajax and Comet because it wasn’t like I was doing a lot of cleaning as a child. However, every black cat I had was named one of those names. I carried on the tradition, even after Joe and I got married, of liking black cats. At one point in time, I think we have almost 14 cats. When one cat would have babies I just couldn’t give them away. After I had them all “fixed” the numbers starting dwindling down and now I only have one cat left, and it is solid white. Lol! 50 IS NOT OLD | IT IS ALL ABOUT THE PRINTSI bought this top when I stopped to shop in Charlotte on the way to Charleston. It was kind of funny that I was the one who packed the least amount of clothes to go on our trip. I made up for it when we went shopping, I think I came out with at least three big bags. This top was one of the purchases I made from Ann Taylor. The print is what got my attention with this top. I am not usually a fan of the front tie tops but the colors and the print just jumped out at me. I am just all about gold this fall and it looks so good with navy.

50 IS NOT OLD | IT IS ALL ABOUT THE PRINTSI, of course, had to wear gold jewelry since I had gold in my shirt. I have on the Davina necklace and the Jaycee earrings. I am not sure what it is about this set that I like so much but I really love them. It is probably the dangles, I love movement in my jewelry. The longer necklace is the Clarissa. It is 32″ – 35″ long and it has movement in it also. The quartz piece, the cut out leaf, and the horn/tooth all move and sway when you walk. The gold bracelet is one that was part of the Breast Cancer Awareness specials but it has already sold out. 50 IS NOT OLD | IT IS ALL ABOUT THE PRINTSSummer is almost at a complete end but I took this opportunity to wear my Marc Fisher cork platform sandals while I still could. I like this pair because of the neutral color. I can wear them with ANYTHING! The gold rings add a little extra dressiness to the sandals. I have worn these with shorts, jeans, dresses, and my birthday suit. Not really, I just wanted to see if you were paying attention. Lol! Since fall is quickly approaching I am linking to a couple of Marc Fisher shoes that I think you would love!

50 IS NOT OLD | IT IS ALL ABOUT THE PRINTSThe pants are a pair of Pixie Pants from Old Navy that I have had a while. I am not sure if the color was this light or if they were navy and I have just worn them so much that they are worn out. I actually like the color since I have another true navy pair. You can never have too many navy pants. Lol!50 IS NOT OLD | IT IS ALL ABOUT THE PRINTSGurl’s I finally got my hands on the new products. I even made Joe try the Active Hydration Bright Eye Complex this morning. I told him that it helps with puffiness and dark circles and that I wanted him to be my Guninea Pig. He said, “take a before picture then.” I am so proud of him, he has been paying attention. Lol! That won’t be available until the 2nd of November but you need to put that on your calendar, you will not want to miss this! I used the NEW Intensive Hydration Serum last night for the first time. I was amazed at how fast it soaked into my skin. By the time I had walked into the bedroom to lay down it was already soaked in and dry. I kept rubbing my face to see if I could feel the difference. Hahaha! It felt fantastic! I have 3 samples to give away today. It will contain a small sample of the redefine exfoliating mask, the lip serum, and the intensive hydrating serum. The NEW Hydrating Serum and the NEW AMP 2.0 roller will go on sale the 18th. I used the roller last night also and it is so much more gentle on your skin. My wimpy sister will even be able to use this one. She would whine when she used the old one and say that it hurt. This one simply glides across your face, I even used it on my chest area which is very sensitive and it didn’t bother me at all. I know there will be some special bundles associated with these products and I will share with you all the details soon. These products are supposed to have faster results than most of the other R+F products with results showing in 4 weeks or less. The Intensive Hyrdation Serum is 20X times more potent than Retinol and it is the closest thing to prescription Vitamin A that is on the market. It is tougher on the signs of aging but not on the skin. It is fine to be used with all skin types including sensitive skin. Just remember Stronger – Tougher – Smarter!

Comment below if you are the most excited about the Active Hydration Bright Eye Complex or the New AMP 2.0 and Intensive Hydrating Serum to be entered in the drawing for the samples.

  1. Can’t wait to hear more about your (and Joe’s!) experience with the new R&F products. Eye puffiness is one of my biggest concerns for myself. Would love to find something that works.

I love the thought of something drying quickly so you don’t have to worry about your pillow case getting wet (Active Hydration Serum). I had a dog growing up, but I have had cats for nearly 18 years. My first was a Calico whose owner had passed away, so she needed a new home. She had been someone at works mom’s cat. She told me “My mom named all her cats Fluffy, this is Fluffy number 200”. Lol!! I have never owned a black cat, but over the years there have been several neighborhood black cats that were so sweet. I don’t understand why people are afraid of them.

  3. Bright eye complex is interesting. Will be fun to see before and after on Joe! He is so funny! How could he not be married to you! Have a great weekend!

  4. I am 74 do I have time to see improvement in my skin? I would love to try.

  5. How much is the intensive hydrating serum going to cost? I can’t wait to see Joe’s before and after. Good for him!!!!! I keep going back to the Plunder website to look at the Nicky necklace. When I can’t get something out of my head I give myself permission to buy it.

  6. Your outfit looks great like always! I love the navy printed top with the gold jewelry. The Bright Eye Complex sounds great, perfect for the dark circles under my eyes. Thanks for the giveaway!

Good Morning Tania! I love your blog… I read it every day. The only one I read actually. :). I’m 58, I would love to try the skin care samples you are offering. Like you, skin care hasn’t been a priority until now. I had a skin cancer removed removed from my nose this summer. Plastic surgeon…What a process!! Also. I’m toying with the idea of becoming a Plunder stylist, just thinking about it. 🙂
    Have a Blessed Weeked!!! Dena
