50 IS NOT OLD | I AM FEELING A LITTLE CATTY | FASHION OVER 40Friday night turned out to be a lot of fun. My granddaughter that lives next door to me came over after I had gotten my blog written. I asked her if she wanted to color or paint which is our regular activities, but she shook her head no. Then she disappeared into the computer room for a few minutes. When she came back, she was smiling from ear to ear and had something in her hands. It was a game board that I had bought for my kids years ago, but it was never opened. It was a game of chess, checkers, and Chinese checkers, and she wanted to know if I would show her how to play.50 IS NOT OLD | I AM FEELING A LITTLE CATTY | FASHION OVER 40 Do you know how long it has been since I played Chinese checkers? I had to Google how to play, and it still took me a little while to figure out what I was doing. Then, I tried teaching Emersyn how to play, and she grasped the rules pretty quickly, even though the strategy of the game was lost on her. The first game I won, but the second game I let her win. She was tickled pink that she won and danced around the room. Of course, we had to play several more games after that. Lol! She asked me how I knew how to play the game, and I told her that I used to play this game with my great grandfather. I told her that maybe one day she would play this game with her grandchildren. She started shaking her head NO! “I am not having babies,” she said very strongly. “There is no way that a baby can get out of your belly without that hurting really badly.” I told her that any pain that she felt would be quickly replaced with immense joy at having a child, and to think of all the pleasure that she had brought to her mommy and daddy. She was not appeased at all and threw up her hand to signal the conversation was over. Lol!50 IS NOT OLD | I AM FEELING A LITTLE CATTY | FASHION OVER 40 I just bought this leopard-print shirt, and I am already in love. The description of the shirt said, Silky Soft Leopard-Print Shirt, and it is exactly as described. This top is so soft, (you know that is my thing) it reminds me of brushed suede for some reason. I like the larger print on the shirt also, and it fits me perfectly. I was a little worried when I ordered it because of the sizing chart. I had never tried a blouse by Chico’s, and I wasn’t sure whether I should order a 10 or a 12. I can deal with something that is a little big, but I can’t fix something that is too small. I ended up ordering a size 1, which is an 8-10, and I was thrilled when that was the correct size. It is machine washable, AND, it is on sale!!! Now that I have your attention, here is the link.
50 IS NOT OLD | I AM FEELING A LITTLE CATTY | FASHION OVER 40I thought about wearing a bright colored necklace so that it would show up against the shirt better, but in the end, I decided to wear the Embry necklace and the Everly bracelet. Both of these pieces are constructed with large white beads and dark marble stones that resemble leopard print. The Everly bracelet is made with an elastic cord, so it slips on and off easily. Plunder has already started to put a lot of their jewelry on sale getting ready for the new Spring looks that will be coming soon. Here is where you go to see the items that are on sale.

The weather was cooperating when we took my pictures, so I slipped on my Sam Edelman gold mules. I bought these shoes last year, and every time that I wear them, I get compliments. I had a lady in a boutique try to buy them off of my feet when I was in Nashville last year. Lol! Courtney (my photographer) wanted to know what the brand was, and when I told her, she exclaimed that Sam Edelman shoes were becoming her favorite shoes. She wears mostly flats, and she said that this brand made comfortable and cute flats which is hard to find. I have to agree with her 100 percent.

I can tell by the stitching of the jeans that I am wearing a pair of ViGoss jeans. Lol! I am sure that they are not the only jeans that use white stitching, but they are the only ones in my closet. The skinny leg jeans by ViGoss are not as easy to find as the bootcut versions, but I like this style, and I am not ready to give it up just yet.

I wanted to share with you a few photos of some young people who have already been seeing terrific results with Spotless. I am so thrilled for them because I remember how it bothered my daughter when she was in high school. The photo of Pryce is one that is near and dear to me. Pryce is my nephew, and you have heard me talk about him before. He was signed last year to a modeling contract with a New York agency, so he has to be careful about his skin. He will not use just “anything” on his skin; it has to be proven to work because he can’t afford to damage his face. He is thrilled with his results with Spotless!!! Also, the comments are starting to pour in from happy mommies and grandparents. If you are interested in trying this for your child or grandchild, message me to see the best way to purchase. fiftyisnotold@gmail.com
My photobomber wanted her picture taken also. She wasn’t happy when she saw Alvin in my featured photo. Lol!!! Just call me the cat lady.
