50 IS NOT OLD | GULF COAST JAM GIVEAWAYIt is finally here! I can start my eleventh month blog anniversary off with a BANG! This is the biggest giveaway that I have ever had. I have partnered with the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam folks, and they are providing me with 6, you heard me, 6 tickets to giveaway for the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam 2016 in Panama City, Florida.50 IS NOT OLD | GULF COAST JAM GIVEAWAYThree lucky ladies will each win 2 tickets for the three day event. Who will you bring with you? This will be so much fun, I can hardly wait! Sand, lots of sun, and more fun than you can shake a stick at, is in store for the lucky winners. Joe and I are going to be attending the event, and I think my daughter who will be here from Alaska at that time, will be joining us for several days. When she heard about the festival, she was all in.50 IS NOT OLD | GULF COAST JAM GIVEAWAYThis could be a honeymoon trip, a vacation you haven’t taken in years trip, a mother-daughter trip, or a gurls just want to have fun trip. It doesn’t really matter who you take with you, it is going to be great. We can adapt the saying to, “What happens at the beach, stays at the beach!” I won’t tell but a few thousand people the next day. Haha50 IS NOT OLD | GULF COAST JAM GIVEAWAYI bet you are drooling over this top. How cute is this? This top is by Karen Kane, and I know that it is several years old. I have told you before, I hold on to my clothing for a long time. AND, yes, I do have a large closet. I have also encroached into the two closets that Ashleigh and Joseph abandoned when they moved out. Lol! Joe is lucky he has a spot for his clothes at all. Haha I like the pattern, the material, and the fit of this top. I am not as wild about the bottom, since it is elastic. You could hide this by tucking the blouse in, but I do not “tuck” very often. I refer to this as my scarf top, since it reminds me of a silk scarf.

Scarf Top: Similar (in brown) | Similar | Similar50 IS NOT OLD | GULF COAST JAM GIVEAWAYHere is a close-up view of my necklaces. I have on a Chloe & Isabel Mirabelle petite collar necklace (the short one) and the Jane necklace by Plunder. The long plunder necklace does not come with the bling “t,” that was a pendant I already owned. They have a monogrammed pendant (Allison) that they show with this necklace on their page, and I ordered it to be able to show you. I am willing to make sacrifices for my gurls. Lol! To purchase from Chloe & Isabel through me, just type Tania Stephens in the Find A Merchandiser box.50 IS NOT OLD | GULF COAST JAM GIVEAWAYThis bracelet is the Capri Statement cuff by Chloe & Isabel. I have the matching necklace also, but it would not have shown up against this top. I really like this bracelet, and I have worn it several times. (See here, and here) It is quite versatile.50 IS NOT OLD | GULF COAST JAM GIVEAWAYThis is a debut of the Zandra bracelet. Now, this is bling!!! This is very Art Deco-ish to me. I also have the matching necklace, which is called Zoe. The sparkles from this bracelet about blinded me as I drove down the road. Haha You’re going to love the price of this bracelet……$20.00! The matching necklace is only $24.00! I love my plunder, it is so affordable. I have an August contest running with Plunder. EVERYONE who places an order from Plunder through me in the month of August, will be entered in for a $25.00 Plunder gift certificate. You can buy a bracelet, and you will be entered into the contest. To shop with me, here is the website: http://www.plunderdesign.com/taniastephens  Try copying and pasting this in the address line, and hopefully it will work. If not, then type in my stylist number 241007 in the stylist box at checkout. I have started an online party, and there is a dropdown box where you can choose Tania’s P Party at checkout also. Several of you ladies have already taken me up on this offer. Good Luck!50 IS NOT OLD | GULF COAST JAM GIVEAWAYThese ankle pants are extremely comfortable. In the fashion world, that word is usually a no-no, but look how cute these are. The V-notch in the hem gives them a little extra character. The light turquoise picks up the turquoise in the shirt, and flows nicely. The pants are a brand called, “Thin Her”, by City Girl.

Ankle Pants: Similar | Similar (all sizes) | Similar50 IS NOT OLD | GULF COAST JAM GIVEAWAYI carried my hot pink leather Vera Bradley, which honestly, I carry most days. I have been very lazy about changing purses here lately. I apologize, but this one is the perfect size for me, and it adds a pop-of-color to almost every outfit. Then I wore my “comfortable” Aerosole wedge shoes. I could wear this pair everyday, they are that comfortable. I also like that they are the same color as my leg, that makes my legs look longer. Nice little trick!

You really have a great sense of style and love that you are fearless with color – my closet is mostly black, gray, white and tan but because of you I’ve been adding some turquoise and pink – so brave LOL I’m almost 60 and I’m thinking I’m glad there weren’t blogs when I was a young mother I would have never gotten anything done. You’ve been so nice to support our Kay and Star jewelry even though you sell a line yourself. Thank You – I’m a BIG fan.

  14. I just turned 50 a couple of weeks ago and discovered your blog. LOVE it! I’d been feeling down about getting “old” and hating my clothes and feeling old and washed up when I looked in the mirror. Your blog just put the spark back into me! I went out and did some shopping for clothes, ordered some jewelry, got some new makeup colors, and am determined to have FUN! I’ve decided my new manta is “I’m 50, not dead!” Thanks for just being you! <3!

    1. Ann I had to check twice to see if I wrote your post. I too have been inspired by Tania. I like her easy breezy way of saying things. (Hey Tania that’s my thought on how your blog is doing so well). Have you watched the makeup video? I “know” how to do makeup but I found a few tweaks from the video that are making people say “did you do something with your hair?” Subtle yet noticeable.

      1. That’s funny Susan! Lol Did you do something with your hair????

      2. I not only watched the makeup video, I took notes! Seriously, I did!

        1. Now you need to let me know how they work for you.

  21. Good Morning Tania….I agree with Yvonne, your blog is amazing for 11 months. It looks as if you have been doing this a lot longer. Your outfit colors look great. No offense, you make me sick as EVERYTHING looks great on you. I’m saying this as a compliment. Also, you have done really well with your weight loss. I really like the way you layer your necklaces and your taste in jewelry. I have gotten some good ideas from you. I get up early to read my Bible and pray and then treat myself to your blog which is so refreshing before reality hits and I have to get ready for work. Enjoy your weekend. ~?Lisa?~
