How To Wear The Trending Color Icy Blue This Winter
There’s a beautiful color trending this winter, and I am HERE for it! Are you familiar with Elsa from the movie Frozen? Think about her beautiful dress, and you will get the picture. Today, I’m showing you how to wear the trending color icy blue this winter!
This Fisherman sweater is gorgeous! I love the 100% cotton fabric; it feels so nice against my skin. I’m a fan of the longer length of this sweater, and the large is the correct size for me. Man, oh man, this is such a pretty, nice medium-weight sweater!
How To Wear The Trending Color Icy Blue This Winter – Sweaters
Oh, my! How gorgeous is this icy blue sweater? Not only does it look fabulous, you know it has to FEEL fabulous. I think it looks very classy, and the crewneck will never go out of style. If you love it, buy it in several colors. It’s available in seventeen!
Speaking of a classic! The crew neck cable-knit sweater is a fashion staple. The description says that it’s lightweight, and the reviewers say it’s very soft. I think the crewneck is great, and when I looked, it was on sale for under $20!
A cardigan is a great way to incorporate icy blue into your winter wardrobe. One of the things I love about this color is that it would work over the summer, too. Pair it with a pretty white tank top, and you could wear it as a nice top layer. I wore sweaters all summer because of how cold restaurants get when the A/C is cranking.
A soft turtleneck is one of my favorite things to wear in the winter. How pretty would this look under a black leather jacket? It’s made from 85% Polyester and 15% Viscos, and the reviews are great. I love the pale blue, but it also comes in many others.
How To Wear The Trending Color Icy Blue This Winter – Scarves

I’ve always loved wearing scarves in the fall. I’m always cold, and a scarf is handy for keeping your neck warm or wrapping around your shoulders. This is a lightweight scarf, and I wanted to wear it with this super soft turtleneck sweater to bring out the blue tones.
I’ve looked at this scarf several times, and while icy blue isn’t its most overwhelming color, it does have a hint in the light areas. (If you click the link, you’ll see the model has paired it with some neutrals, and it looks much lighter in the photo than it does here.) I like that it’s lightweight, so you’ll be able to wear it over multiple seasons.
Warning: This is not an inexpensive scarf. It’s a Loro Piana and comes with a hefty price tag. This is a definite splurge, but if you’re looking for top-quality cashmere, this is it. Cashmere and fine wool are their specialty. This would be a nice investment piece or a luxury gift for a special occasion. (If you want a much less expensive version, click HERE.)
How To Wear The Trending Color Icy Blue This Winter – Coats
Look at this gorgeous option from Amazon. It’s simple, professional, and would look great with jeans or dress pants. It’s fully lined, and I love the waist detail and slanted pockets. If you’re not a fan of the color but like the silhouette, you’re in luck. It’s available in several others, including a very nice camel.
This trench coat from Sam Edelman is a beauty! It has notched lapels and a removable tie belt and is available in both blue and black. There’s nothing like a trench coat to elevate your style immediately. Seriously, you could be running to Walmart in your leggings and sweatshirt, but with this over it – immediate WOW.
What do you think about this trending color? Are you going to try it, or leave it to Elsa and the Frozen gang?

I Love this color and you have some great ideas
Love what you decide to model. Great Ideas!!
Tania, I love the icy blue color but I will wait to wear it in the Spring and Summer! I prefer the traditional deep autumn colors this time of year. I would say I was old fashioned except I love the Taylor Swift bright reds and pinks, newscaps and Argyle.
I always read your emails for your “stories”. I don’t always click and read the blog because I often cannot buy any of what you find because the companies choose to not ship to Canada. Even Walmart sells different stuff in Canada than they do in the USA “sigh”
The sky blue is lovely ….stock up now if you like it because come Spring when it feels like the right colour but it is still cold those sweaters and coats will be just perfect
I think this Icy Blue color is the most Beautiful color of them all. I’m so glad to see it trending this fall and winter. Also, it goes with my eyes!! Haha! Have a Great Evening!
