HOW TO WEAR PINK AND PLUM

It snowed here the other night. When I say snow, I mean that you could see “some” white on the ground and the back porch. There wasn’t any accumulation, but it was still enough to cancel the schools for the day. Emersyn was thrilled at getting to stay home, and she came to spend the day with Ashleigh and me. She wanted to play in the snow, and I kept telling her that there wasn’t enough snow to even play in but that wouldn’t sink in for her. Finally, I told her to go and get Ashleigh up and make her go outside to play. I figured that since Ashleigh was more used to the cold weather that I am that she wouldn’t mind. Ashleigh agreed to go outside, and Emersyn came running into the kitchen wanting me to put her coat on her. Then I heard Ashleigh yell for me, but before I could go to see what she wanted, she came through walking all hunched over and talking baby steps. Her back had gone out when she went to stand up. I called our local Chiropractic office and made her an appointment for later that day. She is still moving extremely slow and can’t stand straight just yet. WHEW! This girl is a walking disaster, or she would be if she could walk. ?Today I paired my bright pink velvet blazer with a back pleat blouse by Gibson. I like the muted colors of the blouse and the soft crepe material. They say that this blouse runs large and I am wearing a size medium. It has 3/4 sleeves and a split collar which gives it a nice v-neck. It is hand wash and dry flat, so it is not too hard to take care of. This top will look great with jeans, and it is very comfortable also. Have I worn the Rae earrings before? I can’t remember, but that is not unusual. Lol! This is a pretty gold earring in a diamond shape with light pink crystals. Because of the pink crystals, I wore the Jolene bracelet that has a pink stone in a bell shape dangling. They remind me of bluebells except these would be pink. I also added the Lelani link bracelet and the Mary Ellen bracelet with a gold bead tassel. I felt like stacking my bracelets today. Lol! The multi-strand leather necklace with gold discs attached is the Rhiannon. I love its casual, Boho vibe. No, I am not about to pee. LOL!!! I was setting my camera up, and I didn’t make the picture large enough. I found the picture hilarious, and I thought that you might need a good laugh too. I am wearing a pair of Wit and Wisdom Ab-Solution Skinny Ponte Pants in the color dark raisin. I think the pants look plum to me but they didn’t ask me. Lol! If you are like me, you quit reading after you saw the words, “ab-solution.” Lol! These pants have a mesh panel that helps with controlling the tummy area, and they are cut and comfortable too. You can’t see it in these pictures, but they have front zippers on each side to add a unique detail if you wanted to tuck your top in or wear a crop top. I am wearing a size 10 which is my usual size, so they are an accurate fit. For those of you who were wondering about my handbag, it is a Dooney & Bourke. This is an old one that I bought at an overstock store. It had some ink on the suede and I got it at a great price. I googled how to remove the ink and it looks great. You can search on eBay and probably find one.
