How To Wear Bright Clothing From Ann Taylor
Where are all my color-loving gurls??? I hope a bunch of your hands are up in the air because I’ve got a couple of outfits that are going to make you giddy with glee! There will be no need for rose-colored glasses today, but you might want to don some shades because it is going to get bright in here. Here is how to wear bright clothing from Ann Taylor.
Bright Clothing From Ann Taylor – Matcha

Maybe it is because I was born a blonde (I have a little help staying that way), but I’ve always been drawn to pink. I like all shades of pink, but hot pink/fuschia/Barbie pink is my favorite.

The Matcha Tropical Jacquard Sweater Shell is so pretty and is of amazing quality. It is a heavy-knit sweater, but that doesn’t mean that it is hot. It has a lot of give to the material, so you don’t feel constricted. The medium fits me fine, so I would think it runs true to size.
I noticed that the sweater is almost sold out, which is irritating to you and me both. This link will take you to all the bright pink and green items at Ann Taylor, including a swing dress in this same print.

The good news is that the Tie Waist Pleated Wide Leg Ankle Pants are available in almost every size. I know that wearing these neon pink pants can be daunting for many people, but you can tame the brightness down by pairing them with a different top. I think navy would look fabulous with these pants, and the look wouldn’t be as bright.

I’m not sure if I brightened the outfit up more or toned it down a tiny bit. The look of the outfit completely changed, and I honestly like both outfits!

Adding the Matcha Linen Blend Cropped Ann Cardigan to the outfit had a couple of benefits. It covered my upper arms, which are a problem area for many women, and it made the outfit look complete and polished. I like wearing cardigans because it gives me the look of a thinner waist. I don’t have curves (thanks to scoliosis), and a cardigan tricks the eye by drawing it inward and creating the illusion of a thinner waist.

I’m wearing a large cardigan, and I think it runs a little small. If you are between sizes, be sure to size up. I’m usually between a medium and a large, and I think I would prefer an XL so that it would be more oversized.

If you are an email subscriber, you will recognize these Straw Covered Buckle Slingback Flats. I have a pair of hot pink pumps, but I didn’t have any flats, so I ordered these in to try. I LOVE them!!! They fit perfectly and are comfortable to walk in. You’ll probably see me wear these a lot this summer, they are too cute to hide away in the closet.
Bright Clothing From Ann Taylor – Hot Pink

I separated the Tropical Shorts Set and wore the button-up shirt with the white High Rise Wide Leg Jeans. This is how to wear bright clothing in summer for a fun and youthful vibe. The wide-leg jeans are the perfect width. I’m wearing a .5 in them, but if I gain an ounce more weight, I would need a size 1. If you are between sizes, I suggest sizing up.

The Tropical Shorts Set is super cute when worn together but can easily be worn separately. The button-up top is slightly cropped, but it isn’t so short that it shows your belly.

Here is the length of the top in the back. The outfit feels like satin and is machine washable. I switched out the slingbacks for a comfortable pair of sandals. Whenever I think I’ll be on my feet for a bit, I reach for these NAOT Dorith Sandals with Cork Footbed and Arch Support. I sized up one size, and they fit great.
