HOW TO STYLE WIDE LEG PANTS

Friday has finally arrived, and I am tickled pink! My Friday with Friends blogger friend is someone that you are going to love. She is sooo elegant, and her style is amazing. Her blog is named The Age of Grace, and that is a perfect name to describe her. She lives in Pennsylvania and has been married for 34 years. She also has a background in pharmaceutical sales, and she and I are both founding members of the Fierce 50, a movement of 50+ bloggers over the age of 50.
This has been a busy week that is full of “first’s.” Emersyn lost her first front tooth, started first grade, and also is having her first football game where she will be cheering. I had a few “first’s” too, but mine wasn’t near as much fun. I learned to mail out packages using PayPal because it is cheaper, and I tried my hand at doing a vision board on a dry erase board. I still am in bad need to tweaking the board since I want it to be cute. I am going to hang this in my dining room so that I have to look at it daily. That also means that others who come into my house will be able to see the board, so that is the need for making it cute. I hope that you have a dream or a goal that you are striving toward. You either continue to grow, or you start to recede, you never stay the same.
I bought this striped top by Vince Camuto back in the spring. I like the blouson style and the faux-wrap top. Because I carry most of my weight in my mid-section, this soft billowy top is flattering to my body type. I also like the v-neck that the wrap creates; it helps to elongate my neck. It is recommended to size down for this top, and I am wearing a size medium, and it is perfect for me. I love these colors, especially this shade of purple. I think that I have bought several things lately that has the color of purple in it, and that is why I will be able to mix and match so many things in my wardrobe. I don’t have any jewelry to show you…I simply was hurrying to go and run some errands, and I FORGOT! Imagine someone in their LATE fifties forgetting something. Hahaha! But, I know that you are used to my close-up photos, so I thought I would upload one for you today. You can look at my amazing lashes, and clear smooth skin instead! (insert my evil laugh for plugging my RF skincare)
The last time that I wore the Vince Camuto blouse, I wore it with skinny capris. So, today I wanted to style the top just a tad differently. I am a big fan of wide-leg pants, and I found this pair on the clearance rack for 15.00. I liked that they are a crinkle linen material and that they have an elastic pull-on waist. I try to size down when I purchase a pull-on style pant; you don’t want them to come down accidentally. Haha! So, I am wearing a size medium in these. These aren’t on the website, (Cato Fashions) but I found a few others for you to see.
