HOW TO STYLE A FAUX WRAP TOP WITH SKINNY JEANS
Have you been missing my Friday Favorites? Probably not, but I have missed doing them and sharing all of my favorite items with all of you. If you are following me on Instagram, then you might have noticed that I’ve started a Daily Finds on my Instagram Stories. This is a way for me to show you things that are on sale or have caught my eye. So, today, I’m going to share with all of you some of my Friday Finds that I think you will love.
Before I get to the Friday Finds, I wanted to show you think gorgeous fall outfit. I bought this sweater back about a month ago, but I hadn’t had time to grab a photo with it. The other night when I was on the phone talking to my daughter, she mentioned that she bought the same light gray wrap sweater as me. She had logged on to my Amazon account and saw where I had purchased the sweater. She loved it so much that she had to get it for herself too.
I wish that you could see and feel this faux wrap sweater. It is incredibly soft, and it feels so good while you are wearing it. I love the wrap design of the sweater, and it is a tad bit on the oversized side, which is perfect for someone who carries their weight through their midsection. I ordered a medium in this top, and it is plenty roomy, and it is the perfect fit that I was looking for.
I have this handbag in black, and I’ve been carrying it a lot lately. Someone commented that they had this bag in a snakeskin print, so I decided to order it in to have a look-see. I have to admit that this Vince Camuto snakeskin print handbag is pretty awesome! I was afraid that I wouldn’t like a large print on the bag, but I really do because it is unique and different. This brown print has hints of gray, charcoal, cream, and black, and I can see that the bag would look great for an everyday handbag. It is large and roomy, and I love all of the different compartments. PLUS, it is on clearance, so it is at a fantastic price!
While I was into the snakeskin print, I figured that I should also grab my Kaylah Pointed Toe Bootie by Steve Madden. I love the look of these booties, and the chunky heel is nice and stable. The deep shaft splits are a unique detail that is super cute, but it does make it harder to pull the boots on. Here is what I do to get these to slide on easily, I use a tiny bit of baby powder (can also use corn starch) on the top of my foot and the bottom, and up the back of my heel. I am wearing my usual size 9 in these boots, and they fit me great.
These jeans are a tried-and-true pair that I’ve worn a lot. These are the Diana from Kut From The Kloth, and I’ve had these for over a year or more. These jeans are like butter; they are so comfortable and soft. They have lots of stretch and flexibility, and I love the way that they fit. That is why these jeans are still in my line-up of jeans. I am wearing a size 10, and they fit me perfectly!
The faux-wrap sweater has a deep v-neckline, so I added the Double V Slub Tank in navy. I loved this tank so much (I already had the tank in black) that I ordered it in every color than came in my size. I am wearing a size 1 in the tank, and it is perfect to wear alone or under a cardigan, blazer, sweater, etc.
So, now for my Friday Finds! Let first’s start with the proper mindset. Start thinking about Christmas. Yikes! I know you might be thinking, WHAT?!? But, I promise that Christmas is coming hard and fast, and I am always thinking about that when looking for new Friday Finds.
My first Friday Finds is going to start with my front door. I love the buffalo plaid indoor/outdoor rug in black and cream. This rug comes in several different sizes, so this one is smaller than the one that I added at my side entrance. I have had this extremely thick monogrammed Coco welcome mat.
Here is the same buffalo plaid indoor/outdoor rug, but in a much larger size. This monogram welcome mat is not as thick as the one on the front door, but it still seems nice and heavy. I got a large size so that it would span the width of both doors. And, I added these two large black urns to my entrance, and they are nice a heavy. I am going to add a couple of bricks to the inside to make sure that they stay put once the winds start to howl. They have a plug in the bottom of the pot to drain if you plant flowers.
I am going to share some of the “favorites” that I liked. There usually are 8-10 daily finds that are posted each day on my Instagram Stories, and a lot of them are flash sales or one day only sales. This is just a sampling of some of the cute and unique items that you will see daily. Be sure to follow me on Instagram, and check out my stories.

25 Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.
Love the outfit and purse. You are looking beautiful, as usual! Hope all is well there. So much smoke and fires here! Enough already! lol!
I love the boots as well! Sending love to you and yours from Kim in Napa, CA!

Did the sweater arrive very wrinkled? If so – How did you get them out?
This sweater wasn’t wrinkled, but I’ve had some that came so compressed that I was afraid the wrinkles would never come out. Lol! I usually shake them, and then I use a steamer to get the wrinkles out of all of my clothing.
Love the outfit. Love everything about it. Love the bag too. Your entry ways look so pretty. I too have a large welcome sign on my porch. Now I have you decorate mine for fall. I so love your style!
Love your post and outfit today! Don’t know how you find the time to do all this! I’m definitely ordering that faux wrap sweater. On your daily favorites, I don’t see the link to those leopard print flats. Have you tried them? Looks like label inside says Birdies?
Deanna, Joe tells me that I work all of the time. Lol!!! I have a pair of Birdies that I love. They are extremely cushiony and soft, but they are slides and I have a hard time keeping them on my feet since they are so silky. I am thinking about ordering the flats since that wouldn’t be an issue. I’ll go in and fix the link, but here it is for you.
