No one wants to keep wearing the EXACT same thing over and over again. And, we all want to find more ways to wear our clothing so that we get our monies worth for the purchase. So, today, I am going to show you how you can make 4 outfits from 4 items.

This post is sponsored by Walmart, and I will receive compensation, but the opinions expressed are my own.

The first thing that you will need to do is select items that are in the same color family, or that will coordinate well when worn together. I love choosing a vibrant print so that you have something eye-catching and fun to wear.

But, you will also want to include a pair of jeans or a neutral pair of pants that can be worn with almost anything. I love jeans for this reason, but khaki, white, black, and navy pants are also great options. Look in your closet and see the different times that you have that you can use.

To balance out a vibrant or large print, you will want to choose a solid item also. The more colorful the print is, the more options you will have to select a solid coordinating item. Pick the color that looks best with your skin tone, especially if you are going to wear it next to your face.

You all know that I love bright and vibrant colors, so this tropical wrap peplum top from the Sofia Vergara line at Walmart is perfect for me. The v-neckline is flattering, and I love the added ruffle for an extra feminine touch. The waistline is elastic, so it has some give to it, and it has a belt with tassels that is super cute. The peplum flares out, and that helps to create a visually thinner looking waistline. Just look at all of the colors in the top, I could pull from white, greens, reds, yellows, oranges, and even black. This makes the top versatile, and the price makes it super affordable. I am wearing a size medium in the top, and it fits me great.

The matching tropical wide-leg crop pant is probably not everyone’s cup of tea. This pant isn’t something that you will want to wear every day, but it is so cute and fun to add a little something different to your wardrobe. I am 5’6″ tall, and these pants are pretty long on me, making them almost ankle pants, instead of crop pants. These are pull-on pants with elastic in the back, and they have front slit pockets, which are something that I love. I am wearing a size medium, and they fit perfectly!

Speaking of not everyone’s cup of tea, I know that distressed jeans aren’t for everyone. However, I am a huge fan of them, and I wear them all of the time while I am at home. Plus, I think that they look modern and youthful, but I know that a lot of you can’t get passed the distressing. SO, I’ll link to some capris for you that aren’t distressed. These Mid-Rise Capri Pants are from Time and Tru, and they fit me like a girlfriend pant. I found them a little loose, but I decided to keep them just in case they shrink some in the dryer. I am wearing my usual size 10 for sizing references.

This adorable light-colored coral off the shoulder top is so cute. It can be worn off the shoulder, or you can wear it higher like a normal top, as I have in this photo. I like the wide smocking on the neckline and sleeves, and I think that it gives this top a unique look that sets it apart from others that I’ve seen. This top is a linen-blend, so it will keep you cool in the summer heat. I am wearing a size medium in the top, and it fits me great.

I’ve worn these Ella Espadrille Wedge shoes by Scoop a lot this summer. I love the gold neutral color and how it has a metallic hint that isn’t blingy. These wedges go great with jeans, shorts, dresses, etc., so they are very versatile. Plus, they are easy to slip on, and I never undo the latch. I am wearing my usual size 9, so these run true to size. They also come in black if you need that color instead.

For those who don’t like wearing heels at all, I also purchased these braided gold metallic slides. These are cute and lightweight, and I love a slide-type of shoe. I had read in the reviews that these ran small, but I am wearing my usual size 9, and I don’t think that they are too small at all. I guess that if you are in between, then you should size up. By the way, these are under $8.00, so you can’t go wrong by buying them, plus the black and silver ones. Lol!

You’ve seen me carry this straw tote for a while now, and it has finally sold out on the website. I understand why, since it was so cute and affordable. I did find several others that would work also, so I’ll link those below for you.

I hope you liked these different looks and found something that works for you. Being able to do almost all of my shopping in one place instead of having to run all over town is something that I appreciate. Plus, I love finding clothing that works for my budget and is stylish also. Walmart offers free 2-day shipping on most orders that are over $35.00 and even free returns. Walmart makes it very convenient for their customers, especially since most people have a store within 10 miles of their homes.

I love your posts. I came across you through Pinterest and many of the items are great, but I came late in the game – so many were sold out. I am 58 and hate to think that I am supposed to dress in a certain way.

    1. Welcome, Pam. You can click on my name at the top of the post and it will take you to current posts.

I love those espadrilles and went to order some, but I have a very high instep and somewhat wide feet and am afraid I couldn’t get my foot into them!☹️ What do you think? Can I send them back?

    1. Yes, you can send them back as long as they are not on FINAL SALE with no issue.

  3. Love the outfits, very cute. I found quite a few basic tees & crops this summer at Walmart. Only 1 super Walmart with clothes around me, all the rest are just neighborhood markets with just groceries.
You gave a lot of great ideas.
    Thank you

    1. I never find anything in the stores. I always order online, there is a much better selection.

  4. Someone below mentioned a jacket but I think a cute vest would work too in a neutral color. Maybe in a neutral straw like color. What I like best about posts like this is how easy I can break it down into two outfits I love. One in a print and one solid. Now switch tops. ???? Going tokay a few things out on the bed and try it. Thanks.

    1. I hardly ever wear vests. I need to try them more often.

  5. All of the outfits are so cute! Thank you for the great ideas!

    1. Thanks, Doris. I’m glad that you liked the looks.

  6. distressed nope…Cute coral top

    1. Haha! I knew that a lot wouldn’t like distressed, so that is why I gave more options.

  7. The straw tote is cute. It will be better when I remove the flowers or whatever they are. I like the coral top.

    1. I agree! I would like the straw tote without the flowers.

    2. The pompoms are just looped around the handle, so they are easily removed.

  8. Great looks. LOVE your Walmart clothes. Great Job!

    1. Thanks, Rory! I’m so glad that Walmart allows me to bring everyone these outfits.

    1. I 100% agree!!! I’ve worn these espadrilles a ton because of the neutral color.

  9. I love the colors in this post! Do you think the sleeveless peplum top would be too bulky layered under a cardigan? I’m trying to focus on outfits that I can transition to fall.

    1. I don’t think it would at all. After I took the photos, I put on a navy cardigan over the peplum top. All I had to do was pull the ruffle up over the cardigan, and it looked super cute.

  10. Great Post – I love these outfits!

    1. I’m glad that you liked all of them. I was afraid that the bright colors might scare some people. Lol!

  11. I also love that you style clothing from Walmart. I live in a rural area and I buy a lot of items from Walmart out of necessity. I’m on a pretty strict budget and I need to get many wears from my clothing so being able to mix and match items is critical for me. Thank you!

    1. I am glad that this post is helpful to you, Angela. If you buy the colors that you like, you will find it much easier to mix and match.

  12. I love that you show us such stylish and affordable!! Clothing from Walmart! Love these fun looks on you!!!

    1. Me too, Denise. I try to find cute items from all price ranges.

  13. Adorable! Outfits look high end!

    1. I agree, Dot! I love it when I can dress expensive-looking, but pay only a fraction of the cost.

  14. All looks great on you! I like them all!

    1. Thanks, LuAnn! I loved the bright colors!
