Saturday is usually a play day for me. I sleep in late, and other than writing my Sunday’s blog post; I don’t often have anything on my “to-do” list. That is not the case this weekend. I wish that I could say that I have some Easter festivities to attend, but sadly, that is not the case. I am going into the lumber company to work! It could be interesting since I haven’t worked the sales counter ever. I do bookkeeping and answer the phones sometimes, but I hardly ever work at the front desk. Goodness, I hope the customers are patient. Lol!
This weekend, my son and daughter-in-law had plans to go to Gatlinburg with her family. It was my son’s Saturday to work, but another employee was going to switch shifts with him so that he could go and have fun. I went to work yesterday to do the quarterly payroll taxes and found out that the other employee had a family emergency so he couldn’t switch. After I got to work, Joseph left to go and tell his family goodbye since they were leaving in about an hour. I called him and said to him that I would fill in for him on Saturday if he wanted to go on the trip. He was so tickled! He came back by the lumber company before he left to give me a big bear hug. Lol! I told him that he had to remember this the next time that I got on his nerves, which was probably before he even left out of the store. Haha! Kids…funny how much they love us when we do something for them.
This is another one of those tops that you are going to want to hurry and grab. I am in love with these colors and this top. It can be worn casually, like I am wearing today, or dressy like I am going to show you next week. This has a large floral design like the top that I wore in this post. And, like the shirt in that post, this one is also from Target and is priced under 20.00! I chose not to tie the tie in a bow, but instead just let it dangle. This kept the v-neck visible and not a fancy style like it would have been if I had tied the bow. This top is 100% polyester in a crepe weave. It feels so lovely next to your skin, and the fact that it is machine washable is a HUGE plus in my book. I am wearing a large which fits me perfectly! Here is the link where you can get your own.
I have on a pair of plain silver hoops today. Since I was going casual, I thought the plain hoops would be fine. These are 1.5″ big and are called the Ridge. While my hoops might be on the plain side, my bracelet is not!!! The Charlyn turquoise velvet cuff features a large crystal pendant and a magnetic closure. It might be more on the fancier side than my look today, but I wanted to show you one of the new pieces from the new Spring collection. This will look amazing this fall. Also, I can see wearing it with deep browns.
The crop pants that I have on are from Cato, and I bought them last year. It is uncanny how well they match the top since they were not bought at the same time or from the same store. I keep telling you this; if you buy the colors and the styles that you like, you will be shocked at how many things in your wardrobe will match each other.
I get asked ALL the time what products that “I” use from Rodan + Fields. Goodness, the list goes on and on and on. I use two different regimens, one in the morning (Reverse) and one at night. (Redefine) Then, I have several add on products that I use, plus the derma roller about three times per week. The Wake-Up Fabulous gift set contains 2 of the products that I use every day, plus it has a free cute sleep mask. This would make an awesome Mother’s Day or Monther-In-Law gift. You know those husbands never think to do the shopping. Lol! Here is my website to find these products. Be sure to order as a Preferred Customer so that you will receive 10% off of the retail price plus free shipping.
