HOW TO GET A FAMILY PAJAMA PHOTO
It is that time of year again. It is time for me to make you listen to my favorite Christmas song EVA!!! Children nowadays wouldn’t be able to imagine only having one Christmas album (a real-life album) to listen to for Christmas. But, that was how it was when I grew up back in Tennessee. My sister and I only had one album, and it was not even one that was by a well-known singer. Instead, it was a bunch of children singing Christmas songs that I have never heard of since.
My sister and I listened to that album all day long for the entire month of December. We knew every song by heart, and we still can sing them today.
We liked a bunch of the songs, but our all-time favorite was, The Day Before The Night Before Christmas. That song sparked a lot of arguments when we were children since we could never agree if it meant the 23rd or the 24th. Lol! I don’t even remember what I thought as a child, but I now think it meant the day of the 24th.
SO, Happy Day Before the Night Before Christmas!!! Tonight is when Santa comes to town and brings lots of toys for all the good boys and girls. If that was the case, his sleigh would probably be empty. Lol! I think that we are going to bake some cookies tonight, and let the kids decorate them. We are all going to be decked out in our pajamas, and Christmas day is the perfect day for keeping your pajamas on all-day-long.
Getting a photo of us all together is worse than herding cats, and you all know how hard that can be. Joe didn’t want to put on the pajamas that I bought him and wanted to wear an old pair of pants instead. I told him no, that I wanted all of us to match. Then, Joseph said he thought that it was a different night that we were dressing up.
Emersyn decided to put on makeup all by herself, and she might have had a heavy hand when it came to the blush and lipstick. And, I am not sure what Lucy rolled in while I was gone to the beach, but my nose might never recover. Guess who is getting a bath today??
The sizes of the pajamas are probably limited since people have been buying these for Christmas, but you could still buy family pajamas in a different pattern to ring in the New Year. That would be super cute, and everyone could watch the ball drop together in style. As you can see from all of the smiles in the photos, we had a blast taking these photos. They may not be professional quality photos, but you can see the fun and the love oozing from them. Sometimes the best photos are the ones with laughter, silliness, and doggie photobombers.
From my family to yours, I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas!!!
There will NOT be a blog post tomorrow. I encourage you to spend your precious time with your families, and I am going to do the same. I can’t wait to see you again on the 26th and hear all about your Christmas fun. XOXOXO!
There are only a few days left in this year. I am trying to reach my goal of 50,000 Instagram followers before the by January 1st. It is almost impossible, especially with the new changes that Instagram has made. But, it is only impossible until it’s done. SO, if you are following me, then tag a friend. If you are not following me, then go here to follow me and then tag a friend.
