HOW I TAKE A WEEKEND TRIP WITH STYLE
This post is sponsored by Vera Bradley, and I will receive compensation, but the opinions expressed are my own.
Yay! We are finally able to start traveling again. I was finally able to travel to Tennessee to see my parents, my son, my grandchildren, brother and sister, and the rest of my extended family after a year and a half. It was a blast, and I am already planning my next trip. But, I take a “weekend” trip every week, and I thought that I would share how I travel in style.
You know me, I want everything to be cute and stylish, and that includes my traveling bags. I bet every one of you reading this has heard about Vera Bradley’s products. They are well known for their stylish handbags with gorgeous, and vibrant prints. Vera Bradley is also well known for their quilted material, and now they have launched products made with recycled cotton, with a goal of updating 100% of their fabrics to more sustainable alternatives by 2025.
I am super excited to be partnering with them, and they gave me a code, TANIA, that all of you can use at checkout to get 10% off of your purchase.
This large travel duffle bag is one of the products made from recycled cotton. The exterior features one zip and three nice-sized slip pockets (one on the side and one on each end), and the interior features three mesh slip pockets to keep certain items contained and separated.

It is a fabulous size, and it is large enough to pack enough clothing for a weekend away, even for a fashion blogger. Lol! You know that I have a LOT of clothing packed inside this duffle.
One of my favorite products for traveling is a hanging travel organizer. I have used one for years, but it was stained from all my trips, so I grabbed a new one in the rain forest canopy pattern.
These hanging travel organizers are fabulous when you are in a hotel. Hotels never have enough space or drawers for my makeup and skincare, so I keep my items hanging on the door for easy access. Plus, because everything stays in the bag, I never leave things behind.
I truly love this hanging organizer, and I think that I am going to buy one for Joe for Father’s Day.
For some reason, Joe doesn’t seem to want to carry my pretty printed one when he goes on golfing trips, so I think the solid black will work great for him. I guess that I will also have to buy him the matching travel duffle so that he feels special and loved.
Here are a few items that are packed inside my large travel duffle.
Did you know that Vera Bradley also had clothing? This rain forest canopy pajama tank and matching shorts are too cute to only wear to bed! I like the print on these, but it is the softness that I love. The printed shorts feature a drawcord with pop thread color at their elastic waist. These will soon become your go-to short for comfort and everyday wear.
I like keeping my jewelry and makeup brushes separated so that they don’t get tangled and mashed. My 4 piece cosmetic case is perfect for keeping things in separate smaller bags, and that way you know where everything is located. I couldn’t find my exact case online for you, but I did find a slightly different version, and I’ll show that to you below.
This is a 4 pc. set in French Paisley. I must admit, the deep purple and vibrant turquoise color combination are stunning!
I bought the hair accessories kit for a couple of reasons. The hair ties are cute worn as bracelets if you don’t have long hair. I love cute headbands, and this one matched my pajamas, so I had to have it. I plan on using the case for my AirPods and phone charging cord, and that will help me to keep up with them.
I am a sucker for fleece flip-flops! I couldn’t resist these soft and cozy flip-flops, and this color is so beautiful. Can you see the palm leaf design in the fleece?
Well, if I got the fleece flip-flops, then I must buy the matching shawl collar robe! I think there is a rule somewhere that states this because it would be a crime not to buy both pieces.
I told you the headband was super cute.
It can be used as a headband for washing your face, or for wearing with a cute outfit. Either way, it is a cute and practical accessory.
This pajama set, robe, and flip-flops make my morning routine so much more pleasant,
Soft, cozy, and warm is how I like my mornings.
Just because this outfit is called “pajamas” doesn’t mean that it can only be worn that way.
This is a cute casual outfit, and I don’t think that it needs to only be worn in the bedroom. I can see wearing these shorts with a solid tank and sneakers for a cute and casual look.
The tank looks too cute with my white pants, and I wore it like this to the store. Versatile clothing is what I love!!!
I love Vera Bradley products, and I know that you will too. My daughter-in-law has already put in a request for a travel duffle for her birthday in July. She has had a Vera Bradley travel duffle for years, and she is ready for a new pattern.
Don’t forget to use the code TANIA at checkout to get 10% off your purchase.
I just ordered the Vera Bradley pajamas! Can’t wait to get them and I used the TANIA code, thanks!
