HOUNDSTOOTH PANTS ARE CLASSIC
Did any of you miss me yesterday? There were some technical difficulties and the blog was not showing up on many devices. For some reason the blog got “hung” on December 9th and would not show any of the other posts after that. If you were an email subscriber then you received the email showing the blog and it took you to the right spot. But if you just typed in the URL the name it would not show the post. My friend, Jenette with Fat Creative came to the rescue. It was a bunch of mumbo jumbo to me but she understands so that was all that mattered. I have mentioned before that if you are just starting out it is fabulous having a live person to talk to and take care of your problems, and I can assure you that there will be problems.
Several of you emailed me and sent messages because you didn’t get your email yesterday, and I really appreciated you checking on me. It was a frustrating day but thankfully I think everything is once again running smoothly. You never know when there is going to be a glitch in life but you just have to keep plugging along and call in the experts. Lol!
There are just times when I like a bulky sweater. I usually hate anything that adds any extra pounds to me, but this sweater is an exception. I like the texture, the color, and even the turtleneck. The only thing I would change on this sweater is the fact that I would like to be a little longer. It is not short but I still would like a longer sweater. If it was longer I could wear it with leggings and I really love leggings in the winter months. I bought this at Old Navy a year or so ago, but I bet I can link to a couple you will like.
I love the red pop of color the tote adds. This was the Cracker Barrel tote that I bought a couple of years ago. I love the double breasted design on the tote. It is a heavy duty felt type material with beautiful black button accents.
I love, love, love this plunder jewelry. The long pearl necklace was again part of the Monday Madness jewelry so it is not available BUT the bracelet is available. It is called the Cambria. I hope since the bracelet is a stock item that the necklace comes back, maybe in the spring catalog. I wore this to the Chamber Banquet I went to the other night and I got several compliments. The short necklace is an “S” charm that I bought in Marietta and it is from a company called Monarch Inspirations.
The black leather boots are a pair I bought at the end of the winter this past year. They are a Bandolino brand that I bought at Belk. Everybody needs a basic black boot because you can wear them with almost anything. I have worn these with jeans, dress pants, and dresses.
The pants are a pair of houndstooth pixie pants from Old Navy. I know, you are just shocked that I have on a pair of pixie pants. Lol! Seriously, you can find the pixie pant in a wide variety of solids and prints. Several of you have messaged me that you finally tired the pixie pants and are now hooked. Listen to me from now on. Hahaha

Everything I wanted to say about this outfit, Tania, you already did in your post GRIN I will, however, add that this entire look would fall flat without your vivacious, bubbly personality 🙂
Bubbly personality? Haha, I like that. Thanks, Sheela ?
This is a great winter outfit and I love that white color on you. Very pretty! Thanks for hosting the link up, Tania. – Amy

Your outfit is so cute and definite holiday cheerful! I’m on vacation in the Florida Keys so no ugly sweaters here. I wish I could attach a pic to show you how pretty it is but I’m technology challenged also:)
Super cute tote!!
