50 IS NOT OLD | HIGH LOW TUNICWill it go around in circles? Will it fly high, like a bird up in the sky? Fly high! I hate when my mind wanders to a song that will now be stuck in my brain for the rest of the day. I think this is the second time Billy Preston has made my blog. Funny thing is, I was not that big a fan of that song. Lol! I am going to have to come up with a different song the next time I wear a print with circles.50 IS NOT OLD | HIGH LOW TUNICHow do you like this circle print tunic? I bought this the other day at a street festival. You never know where you will find cute clothing, so be sure to check out the racks everywhere you go. I have bought things from Wal-Mart, thrift stores, and yard sales. Open your eyes, there are bargains out there, you do not always have to buy from a department store. The one downside to my purchase is that there is no tag on the shirt. I have no idea where to even start looking to find a similar top. Some of her items were Umgee, and Entro, but I have no clue what brand this one is. I’ll just call it Funky Cold Medina. Goodness, it is late, I need to stop writing right now before this get even worse. Lol!

50 IS NOT OLD | HIGH LOW TUNICOlive green, burnt orange, spicy mustard, brown, and ivory. All those colors are great for fall, and all of them are in this tunic. The next time I wear this top, I am going to wear dark brown skinny pants, and maybe over the knee boots. I’ll have to put it on and try it first. Experiment with your clothing, I have worn things this year that I would have never even thought about in the past. It is because of you gurls! You push me to do better, look nicer, step outside my comfort zone. I thank you for that?50 IS NOT OLD | HIGH LOW TUNICHere is a close-up of my shorter necklace. This was a part of the September’s Plunder Posse set. The Posse is a monthly subscription service that costs $25.00 per month. You will receive the items that have been selected for that month. You can cancel your subscription at any time, and I will be sharing what each month’s items will be.14448912_10205314690785770_5538389894988130976_n This month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Plunder has decided to go pink with this month’s Posse. 14484868_10205314703586090_6244818899374971436_nThe Breast Cancer Awareness items are a blush pink. The pendant on the cuff bracelet says, “When the world says “you can’t,” Hope says “try one more time.” They will be donating a portion (I don’t yet know how much, or who they are donating to) of the proceeds from each sale, to help fight breast cancer. If anyone purchases from me, I am going to donate $5.00 from the sale of either of these two items, to The Health Wagon. The money will be used toward mammograms for women with no insurance. 50 IS NOT OLD | HIGH LOW TUNICDon’t you just love these (c/o) wooden tassel necklace from Kay & Star? The tassel is so big and fluffy, it is the biggest tassel I have ever seen. You need to check out Kay & Star on Etsy, they have wonderful items, very well made, and very affordably priced.

My vintage bracelet is a root-beer bakelite bangle. I will be attending a vintage fashion show in a couple weeks in Marietta, Georgia. I’ll post about that later.50 IS NOT OLD | HIGH LOW TUNICThe pants I have on today are by Old Navy, and they are called the Harper. These are too big on me, and they are already starting to sag. When you are purchasing this line from Old Navy, try on a smaller size than you normally wear. I think this line runs big.50 IS NOT OLD | HIGH LOW TUNICHere is the side view, and you can see this is one of the new styles. I am still not a huge fan of the LONG back view. I am carrying my $25.00 purse again that I bought from the outlet store. You just never know what you will find when you visit these stores. I went in one of the stores today, and they had all their Issac Mizrahi shoes on sale 1/2 price. That means that they would be $12.50 for each pair. I left without any, I couldn’t find any that I didn’t already have one similar, or that was my size. The shoes I have on today are a pair that I picked up at Old Navy. I got them because they are flats, (I don’t have that many) and because of the color. This is one of my favorite colors for fall.50 IS NOT OLD | HIGH LOW TUNICI tried a different pair of shoes with the outfit. I was hoping that the higher heel would help with the baggy look of the pants. All I can see is my pasty white skin showing. The lab results from the place I had removed on my leg came back normal. Thank you, Lord! So, I will soon be lathering the faux tanning lotion back on me. Haha50 IS NOT OLD | HIGH LOW TUNICCharlcy asked me about the ring I wear all the time of my right hand. This is a black opal that Joe bought me for our 10th anniversary. We will be celebrating 30 years this coming November, and I still love this ring as much as the day he bought it. Do you have a special item from your husband, mother, grandparents, etc., that means a lot to you?

BTW, I said I wanted to randomly surprise one of my Plunder customers. I looked last night, and I have had 87 different customers since I started selling Plunder. Joe picked out the numbers, and I counted till I reached that number. The winners of the two plunder necklaces, are Beth Keehne, and Linda Fridlington!!! Get this, they are BOTH from Iowa….. What was the odds of that? I’ve got some new surprises for you gurls this month, and I’ll post those later. Hahah! You’ll just have wonder!

One more thing! My sister created a testimonial video for her local Toastmasters club. Could you take a second to “like” it on Facebook? You can find it here.

I so love this top! I purchased a similar one from OneFaith Boutique. I had planned leggings and boots, but this is also a super cute option.

  2. Aww, your sweet you listed my name about asking about your ring! Sorry if I was too forward, but I sort of feel like we’re friends!

    1. Haha Charlcy. I wondered if you had seen my post. I feel like I am really getting to know you gurls:)

    Love the fall colors!
I sent pics of my camo pants and navy top.
    Hope you got them.

Love the ankle pants! I have a medium toned gray pair and have worn them with pumps or sandals in the summer. What type of shoes can I wear them with for fall and winter… Or should I put it on hem away for fall & winter?

    1. You can still wear them in the fall and winter. I usually wear mine inside the tall boots, that way it doesn’t matter the length of the pant.

  6. Those colors are glorious for Fall and the print pattern is very fun and funky. I like the high/low hemline because it helps the eye to travel up and down which visual slims your silhouette.

  9. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this on you! So cute for fall!

  10. Love this outfit!!! Perfect for Fall. I also plan on ordering the bracelet as it speaks to me. As a matter of fact, our Pastor spoke yesterday about letting the world see the “Hope” in you.

  11. Love this tunic! I am a redhead and these are my colors!?

  12. Beth Keehne says:

Oh WOW!! I feel so lucky!! Thanks so much 🙂 Great way to start my week with a new necklace coming my way!!

    1. Beth Keehne says:

AND you also look amazing in those colors!!

  13. Those are great fall colors and look wonderful on you. I totally agree with experimenting to try new looks!

The sentiment on the bracelet today is speaking to me. “When the world says “you can’t,” Hope says “try one more time.” I plan to order it when I get a moment. Powerful words to look at on my wrist every day. They relate to many areas in my life.

    Have a blessed day.

Love the Circle top! The colors are perfect for Fall! Have a blessed day!

  15. I love that song. I remember it from the 70’s when I was a kid. It’s one of the first songs I ever downloaded from iTunes. Lol. I do like the colors of the outfit. It’s certainly a fall ensemble! Have a great week!

  16. I love a high low hem. With blouses, skirts, dresses. Very nice colors. I am wearing my necklacewith a little golden hart for 25 years(almost). Gerben gave it to me when we were a few months together. Next year we celebrate 25years together. I wear the necklace always, never goes off.

  17. Those colours are lovely on you Tania, you can carry off the high low look because your bottom doesn’t stick out and alter the drape of it ? (I’m speaking from experience here!) Your hair looks gorgeous today.
