I’m having a lot of fun interpreting the different Taylor Swift eras into outfits for women over 50. I know she’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but that doesn’t mean we can’t use her as outfit inspiration. Midnights was Taylor’s 10th album, released in 2022. The aesthetic of the album is nostalgia and glamour. It’s a woman looking back on her past and giving herself grace. She’s been through it but is still demanding to be seen! I’m focusing on navy (Midnight blue) glam for this post. I think you’ll agree that I’ve found some great Taylor Swift Midnight-era looks to wear now.

I love this simple and elegant-looking blouse. Look how it elevates simple jeans. It’s from CeCe, one of my favorite brands. A v-neckline is always flattering, and I love the small ruffle detail at the neckline and sleeves. It’s available in several colors, but I’m really loving navy right now.
I love a cable knit sweater; my closet is full of them! This would be great with jeans, but I love it with the leather leggings. It’s also available in a couple of other colors, just in case you already own a navy cable knit sweater. It’s at Macy’s, but act now because I don’t think this will last long.

Isn’t this gorgeous? It’s actually very simple, but the small ruffles at the neck and sleeves add a lot of interest. I love that it’s got a nice sexiness to it that isn’t overt. It’s just elegant!

I’m a huge fan of jumpsuits. They are a simple way to look chic without a lot of fuss. This faux wrap jumpsuit would be perfect for any holiday event. I know this top looks like Saphirre instead of Midnight, but the reviews say it is much darker in person. The design is so pretty, and I love the tie-neckline and chiffon sleeves, so I had to include it in the post.
Here’s a glamorous top from Grace Karin. I wanted to include a sequined top in today’s post. When I think of midnight, I also think of twinkling stars. This was as close as I could get to twinkling stars. Lol! It comes in other colors and is under $45 dollars!

Okay, who doesn’t need a navy blue cardigan? This is such a versatile item that can be worn with jeans, shorts, or shorts. I actually use them a lot as a robe in the mornings when it is chilly, and I’m still in my PJs. Lol! As I said, this is a very versatile item.
Maybe we’re over 50, but that doesn’t mean we need to be invisible. As Taylor Swift sings, “Best believe I’m still bejeweled. When I walk in the room, I can still make the whole place shimmer.“

Love navy blue!! The majority of my wardrobe is a shade of blue with navy being my favorite. I am slowly transitioning more navy instead of black. Black has become too harsh for my complexion. Another great post Tania.

I don’t think navy gets the appreciation it deserves. Same slimming effects as black, but so much less harsh for those of us with paler skin tone. Love these recommendations!
