Who loves casual clothing? 🙋‍♀️ 🙋‍♀️ 🙋‍♀️ Who loves affordable clothing? 🙋‍♀️ 🙋‍♀️ 🙋‍♀️ Great!! You are in for a treat today because I’m styling not one, not two, but five affordable casual spring outfits for women over 50.

Affordable Casual Spring Outfits – Frayed Jeans and a Boho Blouse

I love clothing—lots and lots of clothing. If I can find affordable options, I can buy more than one or two pieces. There are very few pieces of clothing that I want to wear year after year, and I get easily bored. I will spend more for the pieces I know I’ll wear year after year, and I look for affordable options to keep me from getting bored with my wardrobe.

This V Neck Long Sleeve Drawstring Top is feminine and romantic-looking. I love the smocked sleeves and the flared, flowy bell at the cuff. It is harder to find long-sleeved tops for spring, so I was happy when I found this one. It is available in lots of colors and designs, and I love the C-z-flower Rose Pink version.

The Woven Bow Handbag is right on trend, with a metal bow on the strap. The strap is convertible, and you can even move the placement of the bow where it is at shoulder level, etc. This woven handbag is soft and pliable, and I love this neutral color for spring and summer. You’ll be seeing a lot of this bag this year.

I love these raffia mule heels! I couldn’t believe they were under $35 because I had paid so much more for similar shoes. They look similar to this pair of Steve Madden heels that I saw at Nordstrom for double the price. You gurls know I love a raffia/straw accent as they add both texture and warmth to any outfit! They will look great paired with my favorite raffia belts or a straw clutch.

Affordable Casual Spring Outfits – Frayed Jeans and a Striped Sweater Vest

This black and white sweater vest looks great worn as a top. You don’t have to layer a vest with another shirt; you can wear it alone for a different look. I love the casual yet classic look of the vest, and it looks fabulous with a pair of jeans.

The striped sweater vest is by the same brand as the Crewneck Button Up Knit Sweater I wore in my Fantastic Lady Jackets To Wear Now And Later post. It is really nice quality, and I love the weight of it. This vest would look great with white or black pants for a dressier look. But, I think it would look equally as good with bright colors such as hot pink or green.

I’m wearing the same jewelry in all of the posts. Jewelry elevates an outfit easily and makes the whole outfit look more polished and put together.

Affordable Casual Spring Outfits – Frayed Jeans and a Sweater Vest with Pockets

Here is another classic look using a sweater vest. I love the basic look of this vest since it is one that can be dressed up or down.

I’ve shared many items from this brand also since they are one of my favorites on Amazon. I love the casual style of this vest, and the oversized buttons are functional and decorative, too. I’m wearing a medium, and the vest fits perfectly. I saw someone comment that it ran huge, but I don’t find that it does. If you are between sizes, then size down.

The pockets are also functional and decorative. I doubt I’ll be putting a lot into them, but they can come in handy at times. I could put a credit card and ID in there if I didn’t want to carry a handbag or maybe a couple of mints if I had a cough. Pockets are something I love in my clothing, even if I don’t use them.

I am wearing the same Raw Hem Straight Leg Jeans in the outfits, except for the last one. I can always find LOTS of tops, dresses, handbags, etc., on Amazon, but I struggle to find bottoms. These jeans are great for anyone wanting to participate in trends such as the raw hem but don’t want to spend a lot of money. I ordered a size 10, but I should have ordered my usual size 8.

Affordable Casual Spring Outfits – Frayed Jeans and a Boho Floral Blouse

I sometimes style items that aren’t exactly something I would normally wear. You might wonder why I would do that, and the reason is because everyone is not my size and has my coloration. I have lots of gurls who follow me for items I pick, but the colors or proportions might not work the best for them. I’m trying to choose things for everyone, and this top is one example.

This Boho Floral Print Blouse is adorable, and I would like it for me if it was more saturated. Pastels wash me out, but this might be the exact blouse someone else needs. The colors in this blouse are perfect for Spring, and I love the print also. The colors look brighter on the website than they did in person.

The blouse is a sheer chiffon, so it is very thin. The front of the blouse is lined, so you can’t see through it. However, the back is unlined. You can’t really see your bra, but you can see where the jeans begin and end.

Affordable Casual Spring Outfits – Double Breasted Blazer and a Jumpsuit

Now, for the last of my five affordable casual spring outfits for women over 50. Do you think I saved the best for last? Jumpsuits can be a challenge, and a lot of people shy away from them for several reasons, but the bathroom issue is the biggest reason.

I bought this tweed double-breasted blazer last year. It is gorgeous in person, fully lined, and looks way more expensive than it is. In fact, I liked it so much that I also bought it in black, red, and purple. It dresses up everything you wear, and it looks great with jeans, too.

Back to the bathroom issue. Make sure you can easily pull your jumpsuit up and down and that the fastener isn’t too difficult to fasten. My favorite style of jumpsuit is the kind that has wide openings and no fasteners. Also, don’t wait until the last minute before you go to the bathroom, that might end up in an embarrassing situation.

This jumpsuit is a nice weight and has a lot of give and stretch. It does have a button and loop closure, but most of the time, I don’t even bother trying to fasten those, especially if I have a jacket or cardigan on with the jumpsuit. I’m wearing a medium, which fits me well, but I have a long torso, and I would prefer it to be a tad bit longer. I like a blouson effect, and the jumpsuit is too short of me to give me the look I prefer.

The wide-leg style is nice and on trend. The material is so comfortable that you’ll not want to take this off. I wear jumpsuits when I travel or do try-on hauls since they are a one-and-done outfit.
