FEELING COMFORTABLE AND WEARING WHITE
I was so glad to hear that you all liked my post yesterday. I knew that I loved those glasses when I got them and I am really happy to hear that you liked them also. I am very picky when it comes to sponsored posts and I refuse to do one if I don’t like the item, that would just be flat out fibbing. It is not worth it to me to do that for a few bucks. You would be surprised at some of the offers that I get. Some of them make me laugh and some I will just shake my head at and think, “who does these posts?”
The emails always start the very same way. “We love your blog,” or “You look like you would be a great fit for our product.” Then when I look at the product it will be something for office furniture or something like that. I always think to myself, “did you even look at my blog?” Lol! I have had products for men, sanitary products, weight loss pills, (maybe they are trying to tell me something) lots of skincare items, (really????) and the most recent was workout gear. I know that I need to workout but until I start actually doing that it just wouldn’t feel right to promote a product that I don’t use or wouldn’t use. I know a lot of you do work out so I see that it might be something that you might like. But, I just feel like I have to authentically promote something and that would feel fake to me at this time. Does that make sense?
I really like this gingham off the shoulder top which I wear ON the shoulder. Lol! I wore this earlier this year (here) and even though the colors are pretty much the same I wanted to show you how very small changes can really change the entire look of the outfit. The way I wore this top back in April made the look more dressy or work appropriate. Today’s look is more laid back and casual. This look is one that you could wear any day of the week and feel comfortable just working around the house. I bought this gingham top from Old Navy and it is on sale for only 18.00! This is a blend of 55% Cotton and 45% Rayon and it is machine washable.
I added very little jewelry today. The earrings are from Plunder but I can’t find them anymore so maybe they have been discontinued. I’ll let you know if I find them later. But, today I added a cute mantra style jewelry from Kay and Star.
I am not sure why I am showing you the back view of this outfit. Lol! I haven’t worn these shorts in a loooong time and they don’t fit me. They are baggy in the rear but way too tight around the waist. I couldn’t even button them. Lol!!! That is a great reason to wear a longer top when you have gained weight. There are some things that you might not want everyone to know. Unless you write a blog and then you just tell everything and go with it.
I really appreciate all of the shares and the pins of my outfits that you have been doing. PLEASE continue to do that, you won’t believe the difference it has made in my number of visitors to my blog.

You look adorable. I am soooo glad I found your blog! You are an inspiration in many, many ways.
I do love the length of the shorts. I don’t wear shorts much anymore. But these would be good.
Thanks so much for highlighting our necklace and bracelets. I really do love your blog I actually only read 4 and you are the funniest. I love that your photographing in “the wild” and was wondering what type of camera you use?
“Tell everything and go with it” LOL That’s just one of the reasons I appreciate you and your blog so much. You are the real deal Tania! Thank you.
Love this look! Are your silver bracelets Alex and Ani?
Love this look! Love your bracelets (silver ones). Are they Alex and Ani?
Yes, they are Alex and Ani. They were bracelets that I earned with R+F! I love them and wear them all the time.
Tania…super cute top ( I love Navy & white) looks cute on you and I also like to wear my “off the shoulder “ tops “on the shoulder “ LOL.
Colorful backdrop as well.
Have an awesome day!
Love ? it. I have the same shirt and I loved ? it so much I bought it in Red gingham also. I’ve worn the blue one quite often
I love red but when I was in the store they were out of my size or I probably would have bought that one too. Lol!
Loving the outdoor photos.
Thanks, Frances! It is a challenge for me to do these but I am trying!
Love this outfit and the background, it gives the photo more depth. You have inspired me -I already put together this outfit for myself (my top is striped).
Thanks, Carol! I am glad that you are liking the photos. I am sure that there will still be plenty of days when I am back on my porch. Especially when it gets cold again.
Thanks for inside look at blogging. I wondered how it worked in regards to products. I bought the Maria Neckglasses. Can’t wait to get them. Fun summer look. Cute as a button
I am sure that there are other bloggers who get way more offers. Whew! It can get hard to keep up with all of them. I am glad that you liked the neckglasses. I thought it was such a neat idea!!!
How funny, I have the same top except mine is red!
I’m a sucker for gingham and checks, I just styled gingham over on the blog!
I even incorporate it into my home decor.
Loving the new scenery too.
Susanne, I saw the black gingham top that you wore the other day. It is a lot like this one except yours had embroidery on it. You looked great. It is your salad today that has me intrigued. I am going to have to try that recipe.
Cute casual outfit. Colors look great on you. I appreciate your honesty and “real-ness” with us and enjoy reading your blog.
Thanks, Angie. I learned a long time ago that being me was the only way that I could be. It is way too much trouble to try and be someone else.
You are so lucky to be able to wear wider cut necklines. I have a small bust and so they never sit comfy on me but they look lovely on other people.
My chest size is not something to brag about. Lol! However, this style fits me fine.
This outfit looks cool and comfy, and most important, ready for summer!
YES!!! I am very ready for summer!
