FASHIONS FOR MEMORIAL DAY
The best-laid plans of mice and men can be changed. Yesterday I was so thrilled to celebrate my Rodanniversary and I have been looking forward to it for months. I want to thank everyone who ordered products and those who also chose to become a business partner with me. I just wish that I felt better. Wouldn’t you know that I would get sick on the one day that I wanted to celebrate? Lol! I ended up going to the doctor and being prescribed medicine for an extremely sore throat. I feel like crap. ?
I also have plans to be on my way to Livingston, Tennessee today to visit my family. My two grandsons have baseball games tonight and my granddaughter has a ballet recital this weekend. I can’t wait to visit with mom and dad and to see my son and DIL along with the rest of my family. I am crossing my fingers as I type this on Wednesday night that I am feeling better or at least not worse. I will make sure to keep my distance and not be giving away those nana kisses like I normally would because I don’t want to get them sick.
So, in the next few days, I plan on showing you some outfits of red-white-and-blue. Memorial day is this weekend and I hope that you have plans to spend it with family or maybe a picnic or a trip to the lake. You don’t HAVE to dress in stars and stripes in order to look festive and I hope you like these looks.
These are all outfits that I have styled and posted on the blog earlier. I just didn’t feel like editing the pictures and linking to all of the different clothing items. At the end of the blog, I will link to each outfit and you can look back at that post to see if the items I linked to in the post are still available.
I appreciate your understanding and even though I don’t feel good you know that I HAVE to do a post of some sort. It would aggravate me to death to let you gurls down. It may not be the “best” post in the history of blogging but I bet you can appreciate my efforts. Lol!
If you are traveling this weekend please be careful. There will probably be a lot of traffic on the road and I want all of you to arrive safely. Eat a hotdog or hamburger and make sure you have watermelon and think of me. Lol! I love a good cookout!!!
So, I am just curious, what are your plans and what do you have on the menu for a cookout?
Thank you for all the inspiration for red, white and blue! Live seeing your blog everyday.
Sorry you’re not feeling well. Hope your meds kick in quickly. Thanks for the great outfit ideas. Sometimes I feel like I can’t get dressed without you. ?. We are heading to Door Co WI where we have a lil’ place. Stepson, DIL & 2 of our grandkids are joining us. Some good friends too. Serving homemade BBQ pulled pork, salads, etc. This Nana will be cooking breakfasts too. Short order cook. ?. Looking forward to the fun and s’mores along the shores of Green Bay as we enjoy the gorgeous sunsets of Door Co. Building beautiful memories.
Love, love all the festive looks-and love you too?❤️❤️Never feel that you have to write a blog post! If our favorite bloggers don’t update for a few days, we just think” life got busy,we will hear from them again” so no worries?
No big plans for the weekend. I hope you feel better soon. By the way I loved this post…just pictures and some talking.
My baby girl graduates high school Friday night, my nephew’s 4th birthday party is Saturday and my daughter’s grad party is Sunday. I might need all of Monday to nap. 🙂 Hope you feel better!

Had the traditional Memorial Day BBQ now back home and will celebrate by proudly flying our flag and hitting the stores for Memorial Day sales ?
