EXTENDING YOUR WARDROBE SERIES, DAY 3
When my grands come to visit, we have a couple of routines that we like to enjoy. One is getting a manicure and a pedicure, one is eating lobster tails, and one is a trip to Walmart where they all get to pick a toy or something that they want. Whew! The trip to Walmart was on the agenda yesterday, and I am still tired from that trip. Lol! How long can a child walk up and down the very same aisle???
The two girls were pretty quick in picking out what they each wanted. They decided on buying outfits for their dolls, and a spa set so their dolls can get a facial and a manicure also. Huttson was quick to pick out his gift; also, he picked out a video game, and he was happy as could be. Then came Jett, and the waiting started. He starts with LARGE gifts, trying to widdle you down until you buy it for him. He began with a computer and then moved on to an Apple watch, and finally settled on a remote control car. I didn’t think that we were ever going to get to leave Walmart. We were able to do all of the grocery shopping, the DIL’s and I all bought some clothes, and Jett was still shopping. Lol!
Today is look three in the wardrobe extending series. I am still wearing the tank top from the look on Monday and Tuesday, but I am wearing them in a completely different way. The pants and the tank top are both neutral colors, so I added a brightly colored fringed Kimono from Umgee to be a “star of the show” garment. I have had this kimono for years, and I have worn it as a bathing suit cover-up, with jeans, dresses, and even with shorts. This is a very versatile garment, and it is easy to wear. I bought mine at a local boutique, but I found it on Amazon, and here is the link.
I was trying to show you this month’s Plunder Posse, but I messed up. It is July, and the Posse that I have on is for June. Whoops! Anyway, this months Posse is just as cute, especially if you like the color red. The Posse is a subscription service that ships once a month at the cost of 25.00, which included taxes and shipping. You will receive between one and three pieces of jewelry, and it will ship on the same day each month. Here is the link to sign up for the Posse.
My palazzo pants are an old pair that I bought years ago. Remember, I am extending my wardrobe, so all the items that I am wearing are items that I have had for a while. My pants are linen, but any neutral pant would work for this look.

Happy Birthday to Miss Emersyn! One of the cutest little girls I’ve seen and a natural model. I really like the kimono. It is so versatile. The whole look is very flattering on you.
What fun you must be having with your grand-kids. Their time with you will fly. Enjoy every minute.

Happy Birthday to your mini me. Your shopping trip had me laughing….”he started with a computer; moved to an Apple Watch.” OMG..kids!! And your cool kimono is no longer available. But that’s a good thing. I really don’t need anything, but you do a great job of convincing me that I DO need these things in my life 🙂 Happy 4th to you and Joe. Get some rest. Sounds like you are going to need it.
