ENJOYING BEAUTIFUL WEATHER AND WARMER TEMPERATURES IN A SWEATER TEE

I have been enjoying the beautiful weather and the warmer temperatures, and this sweater tee was perfect. My DIL and I went to our local Walmart and decided to take a few photos. I am sure that people who were driving by thought that we were crazy, but I didn’t care. The weather was so pretty, that we decided to take advantage of it while we were out.

Some of you have asked about how I take photos on location instead of on my porch. When we decide to take photos, I have to get the outfits together and make sure that they are steamed. Then, I get the jewelry and accessories together that I want to wear with each look. We load it all together in my DIL’s van and drive to the location. After I take the 1st outfit’s photo, I then have to get back in the van and change clothes, jewelry, and accessories.

By the time I get my clothes changed, I feel like I am a wreck. My hair is always messed up and crazy-looking after I have taken my tops off and thrown on another one. Thankfully my DIL’s van has screens that you can raise to keep the sun out of your eyes, so I don’t think that I am putting on too much of a peep-show for people walking by. 😆  But, let me tell you, putting jeans on in the backseat of a van is not an easy feat. This blogging gig is HARD work, and I am usually sweating like crazy by the time I’m finished with a session. Hahaha!

Even though I might look fresh in this photo, I was worn out. Look at my poor hair in the back, it looks like a rooster’s comb. At least my sweater tee is super cute and I am in love with this tweedy look. The website calls this a blue multi, but I think that the overall look is a purple multi. Either way, I love the color and the small amount of shirring on the sleeve tops.

I am especially partial to sweaters and tops that have ribbing at the hem since these create a blouson effect and hides my belly. I need all of the help hiding lumps and bumps that I can get! I am wearing a size medium in the top which I think is the best size for me. This sweater also comes in petite sizes if you need that option.

Like the top that I wore yesterday, this one is shorter which works great with mid to high waist jeans. Plus, it is fitted enough to go with wide-leg jeans or crops.

I am laughing as I look at this photo because I forgot to put on earrings with this look. Earrings are something that I wear even if I don’t wear any other jewelry, but in my rush to change, they got left off. Lol! I’ll link to the rest of my jewelry for you below.

My Isla canvas tote by Michael Kors is the perfect spring and summer tote. I love the rope handle on this tote, and it gives the tote a nautical look. I’ve gone toward the medium size handbags, and this one is a great size.

It has one large compartment, but several small pockets on the sides. I usually prefer having separate compartments, but I like the outside so much that I’ll deal with the open compartment for the look.

I didn’t plan it this way, but it looks like I am bringing you a wide-leg jeans look two days in a roll. These high-waist jeans are more casual looking than the ones that I wore yesterday. Honestly, this was the “look” that I preferred with the frayed hem and the broken-in look. These jeans are by Jag Jeans, and I am wearing a size 10 which fits me well.

Even though these jeans were the ones that I liked the best, I ended up keeping the NYDJ pair from yesterday instead. The NYDJ pair fit me better than these, but I sure do love the worn-in look of these. UGH!

When you are taking photos in a parking garage that has lots of birds and pigeons flying around, you have to look up or you might get pooped on. Lol! The birds kept swirling around over me, and I was constantly looking up. Kayla took a photo, and I couldn’t help but share the perils of being a blogger with all of you.

I’ve had this pair of Michael Kors espadrille zip sandals for a long time, and they are one of my favorite summer shoes. They are a great neutral, so they will go with anything. Plus, they are actually comfortable, and that means a lot. I love Micheal Kors shoes, and I find this brand always fits me really well and is comfortable for wearing long periods of time. BTW, the shoes also match the handbag…it was meant to be!!! I’m wearing my usual size 9, and they fit TTS.
