EASY PEASY OUTFIT
Good morning everyone! I am in Halloween mode today because I will be attending a Halloween/Birthday party tonight. I have always loved Halloween ever since I was a child. I grew up in the country so houses are not close together. We would go to our relatives houses and that could take all night long. My grandparents lived at least 15 minutes away and then you would have to stick around and talk. There was no going to the door and sticking out the bag for candy. Of course, you did leave with a HUGE amount of stuff (not always candy) in your bags.
Children don’t seem to go door to door as much as they did when I was young. Nowadays the churches and cities hold trunk or treat events and that is where most of the children go. I understand the need for these events, it is safer for the children and you don’t have to worry about the candy being tampered with, but I miss children coming to the door with their little bags. I might get 4 or 5 children each Halloween and those would only be people we know well. So, tonight I will get to be in full Halloween mode with all the kiddos in their costumes at the party. I have decided to go as Mary Poppins. You might have heard me say “Practically Perfect In Every Way” before and that is where the saying comes from. I just happen to have a black hat, umbrella, black skirt, and a Victorian style white blouse (doesn’t everybody,) and a vintage suitcase. I hope to take pictures from the party but I can’t really promise that will happen.
This is an easy peasy outfit. I get messages from you ladies a lot that says that you babysit the grandchildren or that you are retired and you don’t need to dress up every day. Here is my solution to the problem. You still have to put on a shirt and a pair of pants, (at least I hope you do) so why not make them cute ones? This is a simple top that I picked up at Talbots on my shopping trip in Charleston. Because I purchased this cute t-shirt at the outlets, I don’t see it on the website but I did find several other cute ones. This caught my eye because of the Parisian graphics and the fact that it had a very faint turquoise color in it. This is a t-shirt but it is a more elegant t-shirt. You don’t have to wear a KISS or ZZ Top t-shirt, but you can wear a t-shirt and it still look nice.
I don’t have on very much jewelry for this look. If you are lounging around the house you probably aren’t going to have on a lot of jewelry. Earrings are easy to pop on and they do make a look more polished. These Aspen earrings are really, really super affordable. The antiqued turquoise earrings are new and this is my first time wearing them. 
The Mae bracelet is also new. It is a cheetah print leather cuff with a “Let Go, Let God” pendant attached. I knew that the cheetah cuff was cute when I ordered it but I didn’t even know that the pendant came with it. 
I am not sure what the color of my pants is. It is a deep dark turquoise to me and I can see this looking great with gold, claret, etc. These were bought at Talbots also and I wonder if this was last years color because on their website the same pants are now a brighter turquoise. I really like both of the colors and you can’t go wrong with either. Joe looked at my pants and said how much he likes thin wale corduroy. I didn’t even pay attention that the pants were corduroy since it was the color that caught my attention.
I love my little leopard or cheetah print ballet flats from Isaac Mizrahi. I picked them to wear since I had the Mae cheetah cuff bracelet on. I will wear this pair of shoes a lot in the fall and winter but I hardly ever wear them in the spring or summer months. I guess I wear sandals more during those months. Animal print is really a neutral and can be worn with almost anything. If you have never worn it as a neutral it takes some getting used to. Go ahead and step outside your comfort zone.

On my personal FaceBook page, I shared a photo of me from 2 years ago beside of a photo of me today. Both of these pictures were taken on my porch and both of them taken in October. Nothing has changed, makeup, lighting, etc. but I look so much younger in the photo now even though I am two years older. Decide for yourself. Here is what I noticed, my eyelashes are crazy long, my skin is much brighter, my eyes lids are not hooded, and my neck is much more smooth. The picture from 2015 is not very sharp so it is harder to see wrinkles, pores, etc. but the overall effect is still very visible. Someone mentioned to me that I looked so much more “confident” in the 2017 photo. Funny how feeling like you look younger and that your skin looks great can make you much more confident. Lol!! I guess R+F is more than just about skin.

Love, love, love this outfit today Tania!!! I looked at that top in the Talbot’s catalog several months ago but it was too pricey. You and those fetched outlets! LOL Whenever you go shopping, whatever you get for yourself, just pick up an extra one for me too, OK? haha! Your side by side photos are incredible!! You looked very nice before mind you, but the after photo leaves me almost speechless! I have a funny story for you – the other day I went into a department store and needed to go to the back where the purses were. On my way, I had to pass by the cosmetics counter. The saleslady at the counter looked up and saw me and exclaimed “Oh what beautiful skin!” I gave a polite “Thank you.” and was continuing on my way when she exclaimed ever louder “Come here, come here, come here, let me see that bea-uuuu-tii-fuuuullll skinnnn!!!” I went up to her and she looked my face up and down, the whole time saying “Beautiful, beautiful, skin!!” She asked what I used and I told her R+F. I could see her sink just a little bit because she was there selling another skincare for the store. She halfheartedly gestured towards those products and said “Well, if you ever need anything, we’re here, but you don’t need much! Your skin is bea-uuu=tiii fuuulll!” Tania, I’ve never had anyone go on about my skin like this EVER!!! So YES, R+F does make a noticeable difference and gives you more confidence! I see a huge difference in the texture of the skin on your neck. Yes —you have lost weight but that should have made your neck look even more “drapey”. Whatever R and F product you are using on your neck is highly effective!
The neck area was what really surprised me the most. I HATE the “waddle” so I am thrilled that this is working. I use the Redefine regimen and the AMP MD roller on my neck.

The picture comparison of you is amazing. You’re a lovely lady but the difference is striking. I use Peter Thomas Roth facial products but you’re making we wonder if I should change to R & F. Happy Halloween ?

You mentioned your eyelids. Do you apply the eye cream above your eye as well? I just purchased the cream and have only applied it beneath my eye. Please let me know. Have fun with your grandkids tonight!!!,,,
I apply a small dab on the eye socket bones, but not down on the lid. My scientist daughter calls it the “orbital bones.” As the cream warms up it will “travel” so that is why you don’t apply too close to the eye. You don’t want it to travel into your eye. My new routine is to apply the Bight Eye Complex underneath the eye and after it dries then I apply my regular multi-function eye cream to the top and bottom.
