What to Wear for Easter 2025 for Women Over 50
Hey Gurls! Today, I’m sharing what to wear for Easter 2025 for women over 50. It’s right around the corner, and you know what that means—time to pick out something cute, comfy, and full of spring spirit! Whether you’re headed to Easter church services, a big family gathering, or a casual Easter brunch, I’ve rounded up the best ideas for what to wear this year.
Think soft pastels, floral prints, and breezy fabrics like cotton, linen, and lightweight crepe. Whether you’re into dresses, skirts, or chic pants, there are plenty of beautiful options to help you celebrate the season of new beginnings in style. Let’s HOP into it, ha!
Floral Voile Midi Dress and a Linen Blazer

This floral Voile Midi Dress is so lightweight. It is 100% cotton, so you ladies who are already experiencing 90+ degree weather can be comfortable. However, if your weather is crazy like mine, you might want to include a Linen Blazer just in case it drops 30 degrees in a matter of hours.
I love the smocked waistline and the flattering V-neck. However, the beautiful and colorful floral print is what grabbed my attention. I know a lot of my Petites ladies prefer dresses that are slightly shorter, and you can find a lot of them here.
Satin Midi Dress in Blushing Roses – Talbots
This one is giving Easter Sunday glamour, Gurls! The soft satin with a hammered finish looks so elegant, and the short puff sleeves add just the right touch of femininity. It hits below the knee, making it great for religious services or family photos. Pair it with wedges or dressy flats, and you’re ready for anything from brunch to an Easter egg hunt with the grandkids. The floral print and soft blush color are both timeless and fresh!
Modern Poplin Dress in Bold Floral – Talbots
This dress is a twirler, Gurl! The crisp cotton poplin keeps you cool and comfy, while the bold floral prints bring the spring vibes strong. I love how this one flatters without clinging—just throw on a lightweight cardigan if it’s chilly. The fit and flare shape is always a classic choice and works for every body type. Add a bright handbag and a pretty pair of wedges, and you’ve got a full Easter outfit idea that’ll turn heads in the best way.
Eyelet Puff Sleeve Poplin Shirtdress – Talbots
Okay Gurls, if you’re a sucker for detail like me, this one’s for you. That scalloped hem and the delicate lace details are so sweet. The tie waist gives a flattering silhouette, and the beautiful pink shade screams spring. The cotton poplin fabric is breezy and great for warmer days. You could wear this with neutral sneakers if you’re chasing little ones during Easter celebrations—or go dressy with a block heel.
Piper Pleated Patio Skirt – Talbots
This skirt is so feminine and fun! It has a graceful fit and flare cut that hits far below the knee and moves like a dream. The blue scroll print gives it that perfect balance between traditional and fresh. Pair it with a white blouse or a lightweight sweater, and slip on a denim jacket if it’s a bit breezy. I’d wear this for Easter brunch.
Crepe V-Neck Maxi Dress – Chico’s
This lavender maxi dress is an absolute showstopper! The flowy crepe fabric is dreamy, and those tiered sleeves add just the right amount of drama. It’s perfect if you’re heading to more formal Easter church services or want something longer and elegant. Add a pair of wedge sandals and some soft gold accessories, and you’ve got a full look that’s comfy but polished.
Voile Tiered Eyelet Maxi Skirt – Lands’ End
This is the kind of piece that’ll be in your wardrobe for years. It’s made from a soft cotton blend that feels light and breezy, and the tiered design gives it movement and style. The maxi length is great for extra coverage, and the eyelet adds beautiful texture. I’d wear this with a pastel blouse or tank and a light sweater over my shoulders—add a few accessories and you’re good to go. It even has pockets, which makes it a winner in my book!
Tie Waist Shirtdress in Delightful Floral – Talbots
This dress is everything. The navy floral is perfect if you want a bit more structure but still love your florals. The long sleeves make it great for unpredictable spring weather, and that waist tie gives shape without being fussy. It’s comfy enough for the Easter egg hunt but polished enough for photos with the whole family. Add a blazer or a tweed jacket if it’s chilly.
Linen Cargo Wide-Leg Pants – Chico’s
If you’re not into dresses, don’t worry—I got you! These linen wide-leg pants are so comfortable and stylish, especially for a more casual Easter celebration. The wide leg and cargo pockets give it a laid-back vibe, but the linen fabric keeps it feeling fresh and springy. Pair with a blouse or a lightweight cardigan and some neutral sneakers for a modern Easter Sunday look. Great for chasing Beckham around during the egg hunt without giving up style.
Linen Balloon Sleeve Blouse – Chico’s
I love a top that does the talking for you, and this one sure does! The balloon sleeves and pintuck detail make it feel special, and the scoop neckline is flattering on just about everyone. The linen fabric is breathable and ideal for warm days, plus it pairs beautifully with white jeans, skirts, or even those wide-leg pants above. This blouse would be great for a casual Easter brunch or any spring gathering. I’d top it off with a delicate necklace and a fun little handbag for that final touch.
Alright, that’s the roundup of What to Wear for Easter 2025 for Women Over 50! Whether you’re dressing up in an Easter dress or keeping it easy in pants and a pretty blouse, the key is finding lightweight fabrics, soft pastels, and styles that make you feel like your best self. Easter Sunday is all about new beginnings, family gatherings, and feeling good from head to toe. So don’t forget your accessories, maybe a fresh pair of sneakers or wedges, and a smile that says spring has sprung! Let me know what you’re wearing this year—I’d love to hear all about it!

1 Corinthians 10:23-24 (NIV)
23 “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive. 24 No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.

Love all the fresh spring options!
🙂 Good ideas for Easter!
Found it! I love all the midi dresses and especially love the floral wide leg cargo pants.
😊Beautiful spring dresses. Love Talbot’s
the straps your daughter ordered for her back are similar to a stadium seat I had a long time ago. It had similar straps that went around my knees and it helped me to sit on bleachers when I had so much back pain. i did everything like she is doing until nothing helped and I felt like if I did not find someone to help me I was going to be in a wheelchair. I found a brain and spine doctor that put me completely at ease, explained things like I was smart enough to understand. did not talk down to me like I was stupid, and thought he could help me. He operated on my neck first then he did my low back. It has been almost 2 years and I have no back pain. I do have to be careful and I know what I can and cannot do! I hope she finds a doctor she can trust. I would be glad to share his info if she lives near me. DFW Texas.
Janice, like you, she knows what she can and can’t do. She tweaked her back by twisting while she was holding a heavy box. Thankfully, she doesn’t hurt all the time, only when she moves a certain way that throws the back into a tail spin.

🙂 Found it. Linen is sooo nice and cool in the summer, but I shy away from it because of the wrinkling. I do have a few pieces that iron and as soon as I have them on they wrinkle. I just got a steamer; I don’t know if this will make a difference or not.
Cathy, the wrinkles are part of the charm. Lol!
