Cozy Sweaters For Fall And Winter Under $50
Fall and winter bring cool temperatures, and I am constantly looking for ways to stay warm and cozy. I have a heated throw at my desk, a heated pad on my bed, and I wear fuzzy house slippers to keep my feet warm. If you are like me, then you’re going to love today’s post on cozy sweaters for fall and winter under $50. Why spend more when you don’t have to? I’ve pulled together some great, affordable options.
What should I look for in a cozy sweater?
When looking for a cozy sweater, consider a knit sweater made from materials like wool or organic cotton for maximum warmth and comfort during sweater weather. Opt for a variety of styles like v-necks or mock necks, and pay attention to details such as cuffs and hems that add structure to the fit. You’ll find a range of options, from trendy sweaters with crochet details to classic cable knit sweaters, perfect for layering over a blouse or pairing with your favorite jeans. Don’t forget, a cozy season essential is a sweater with pockets for added practicality, and top picks often include brands like Everlane or Abercrombie.
Cozy Sweaters I Own
I wanted to start by showing you an outfit featuring a lightweight sweater I love! The Brushed Short Sleeve Lounge Tee is soooo soft! I love the Dolman sleeves and the banded bottom; it is so flattering. I’m wearing a medium, and it fits great.
This Ivory hoodie is super soft, cozy, and comfortable, plus I love the casual style. I was a little shocked that it is such a nice thick sweater. It runs true to size, and I’m wearing a medium. The sweater is available in many colors; be sure to pay attention to the price, though, since each color is a different price. I’m wearing last year’s style, which has pockets. This year, it is just as soft, although it is missing the pockets. I bought it in light gray, and I love it.
The pants weren’t flattering, so they were returned. But I loved the navy Cotton Funnel-Neck Sweater, which now resides safely in my closet. It is a great weight, and you will swear it is way more expensive than the price suggests. This cozy sweater doesn’t fit tight around the neck, so don’t worry about tugging on it all day long. It looks polished and modern while being super comfy.
Cozy Sweaters From Walmart Under $50
Sweaters are what I wear most in the fall. I love this casual, cozy camel half zip sweater! It is one that you could wear for a lazy day at home or out running around town. The Chain Loafers match the sweater perfectly and tie the outfit together. The Faux Shearling Handbag is reversible; one side is shearling, and the other is not.
The star of this outfit is the Long Sleeve Cardigan Sweater with Chest Pockets. The gold buttons create a lot of visual interest against the black backdrop of the sweater. I love this cardigan since it can be dressed up or down and worn as a top or open as a cardigan.
Oversized sweaters are my love language, lol! This pink oversized sweater from Walmart is soft, comfy, and so cute for lounging around or running errands. I love the drop shoulder design and the side slits that give it a little extra flow. It’s also great for layering with a long-sleeve shirt underneath when the temps really drop. The color is a soft, feminine pink, but there are other shades available if that’s not your vibe. You’ll want to snuggle up in this one all day long!
This green knit pullover is perfect for those days when you want something cozy but not too heavy. The knit pattern adds a bit of texture, and the green color is just so fresh and perfect for fall. I can see myself wearing this with some favorite jeans and boots, or even layering it over a dress for a fun, boho look. The crew neck and long sleeves make it super versatile for all your fall outfits. It’s comfy, stylish, and totally affordable!
Cozy Sweaters From Amazon Under $50
Gurls, this batwing pullover is giving all the cozy vibes! With its oversized fit and drop shoulders, it’s the perfect piece to throw on over your favorite jeans for a relaxed weekend look. The batwing sleeves add a bit of flair, and I just LOVE how it drapes. It’s available in a RANGE of colors, but the neutral tones are a must for layering! This one is all about comfort and style, and it’ll easily become one of your wardrobe staples for the cooler months.
You know I’m a sucker for stripes, and this striped pullover is no exception! The classic pattern is always a winner, and the relaxed fit makes it ideal for pairing with jeans or even a cute skirt and boots. Stripes add such a fun, playful element to any outfit, and this one comes in a variety of colors to suit your style. It’s a cozy fall sweater you’ll reach for over and over again, Gurls. Plus, the knit fabric just feels so good!
I NEED this zippered pullover; it is gorgeous with a capital G! I love how versatile it is—you can zip it up for a mock-neck look on chilly days or wear it open for a more casual vibe. The fabric is soft and warm, making it perfect for layering with a jacket when it’s extra cold outside. The zipper detail adds a little something extra to this cozy fall piece, and it’s available in a variety of styles and colors. If you’re running errands or grabbing coffee with friends, this one will keep you looking cute and comfy.
Cozy Tunic Sweaters For Women Over 50
Who doesn’t love a tunic sweater for those leggings days? This one is long enough to cover your bum (ha!), and the relaxed fit is so flattering. Pair it with your favorite jeans, leggings, or even trousers for a chic and cozy look. I love the way the soft fabric drapes—it’s one of those sweaters that just makes you feel put together. It comes in several colors so that you can choose your fave. Trust me, this one is a fall wardrobe essential!
A turtleneck is a must for fall, and this one has the perfect balance of style and warmth. The knit fabric is soft, and the turtleneck adds an extra layer of coziness that’s ideal for chilly mornings. I could see myself wearing this one with some dark wash denim and boots. It’s available in multiple colors, so you can grab a few and rotate them throughout the season. Gurls, you can’t go wrong with this one! It’s very similar to the one above, but there are subtle differences, including the angled hem.
Cozy Sweaters From Old Navy Under $50
This grey crewneck sweater is a classic, and the neutral color makes it a perfect base for any outfit. Whether layering it with a cute jacket or wearing it on its own, this sweater is super versatile. The crew neckline and soft fabric make it so easy to wear, and I love that it’s lightweight enough to transition from fall to winter.
Now, if you’re looking to add a pop of color to your fall wardrobe, this red pullover sweater is the way to go! It’s bright, bold, and just what you need to brighten up those grey fall days. The fit is relaxed but not too oversized, making it easy to pair with skirts or jeans. The knit fabric feels cozy without being too heavy, so it’s great for layering. This one will be a hit for holiday outings, too, trust me!
Gurls, I hope you love these Cozy Sweaters For Fall And Winter Under $50 as much as I do! Let me know which one is your fave, and as always, happy shopping!
