COMFY, CASUAL, AND CASHMERE
Christmas is coming quickly!!! How many of you are through with your shopping? How many of you have not even started your shopping? lol! I am somewhere in between. I have done some shopping but it has been very little. I hate that I am getting to the age where I now give money or gift cards. At least I am not to the age where I give underwear and socks. Hahaha!
How many of you remember getting underwear and socks from your Grandmother? Am I the only one who had a practical Granny? Just thinking about this makes me smile. She was right, I always wore my underwear and socks. I wonder if she was the one who bought me the “days of the week” underwear? I remember going home on the school bus one day and my little sister announcing to a boy that I had on “Wednesday” underwear. I was probably 11 or 12 at the time and I wanted to do two things. One, I wanted to crawl under the seat. Two, I wanted to strangle my little sister. She better be glad that Mom was in the car at the bottom of the hill to pick us up that day.
Little sisters, don’t you just love them? Anyway, I have on a comfy outfit today. I wanted to be a little more on the casual side today so I put on this super soft cashmere top. This mock-neck turtleneck is by Isaac Mizrahi and it came from the overstock outlet store in town. If you have been a follower of mine for a while then you know that means I paid $12.00 for this top.
My necklace today is the Gabbie. You can see the colors so much better in today’s pictures. The different variations in the beads are really pretty. I wore it in this post, but it looks better to me with this outfit. What do you think?
I hesitate to even show you my bracelets. They are all from the Monday Madness specials that Plunder had on Cyber Monday. I can’t even remember the names of them and since they are not currently available, I couldn’t look them up. The turquoise one is set in gold tone and the pearl is in silver tone. They both are magnetic closure.
Do you remember this pose? How many of you have a picture where you are sitting with your chin on your hand???? ? I am just trying to show you my black leather bracelet, which is sold out and you can’t buy, but it is just like the brown leather Pippa that you CAN buy. The turquoise earrings are the Sungloe. I had to close my last party, so to place an order you go to www.plunderdesign.com/party/50isnotold
I am wearing a pair of bootcut jeans from Maurices today. These are actually the Maurice brand and I can’t tell a huge amount of difference between them and the Vigoss. These have held up and washed great.
My booties are from Old Navy and they have been a fairly good boot. I never expected them to last me very long but I have been pleasantly surprised. My purse in by Dooney & Bourke and I did expect it to last me for a long time. Lol! There are some things that you know are good quality and you expect more from them.
If any of you are planning on buying any Plunder or Rodan and Fields as Christmas presents, you had better be placing your orders soon. I have not heard a cutoff date from Plunder but for Rodan and Fields the FedEx ground cutoff date would be the 13th. Wondering what in the world you could give for Christmas that is R & F? I am getting Joe the Beyond the Shave, my hairdresser is going to receive the Redefine Age Shield Hand Balm or the Essentials Daily Body Moisturizer. I figure that her hands stay in water so much that this will be a product she could use. Also, this woman puts scissors in my hair, I want to keep her happy. Haha!
The winner of the $30.00 Plunder gift certificate is Crystal. Crystal only asked for her family to be together and good health, but she is also getting jewelry! Congratulations!!! You will receive an email from me shortly.

Tania, I love your blog and have not been receiving emails for about 1 week now and theyre not in my spam folder. Any clue why this is happening?
There has been a glitch. I am hopeful that everything is now fixed.
Funny you should mention socks and underwear. That is what my 24 year old son asked for (along with a few other things). Guess he doesn’t want to spend his own money for them!! Too funny.
Thats too funny. Joseph asked for the same thing one year. Lol!
Love this outfit! My Mom started giving undies & cash as she got older. After we lost her my niece started giving the girls “cute” socks. I cried when I opened my socks the first Christmas after losing Mom. Now a funny story about my grand girls, 2 years ago I couldn’t get either to give me ideas, I told them if they didn’t I was getting them old lady undies. Our oldest thought it was hilarious, she was 16 at the time, Brooklyn was extremely embarrassed. Even though they mainly get cash & gift cards I want to give them “something” Sorry for such a long post. Your Granny and undie gifts brought happy memories to mind!
My granny always wrote a really long letter in her Christmas cards. Ad she got older the letters got smaller till it was just a signature. I treasure the cards I can find.
This is another one of my favorite outfits of yours. Wish I had it! I would so wear this!
