Chico’s Try-On Haul: Classic & Cozy Looks You’ll Love
I love a good try-on session, and today, we’re checking out Chico’s winter collection! If you’ve been following me for a while, you already know that I have a deep appreciation for classic, boho styles with a side of cozy. And let me tell you—this haul delivers on ALL fronts.
We’ve got timeless navy, luxe textures, embroidery that gives off boho vibes, and cozy neutrals that feel like a warm hug. If you love looking put-together without sacrificing comfort (and who doesn’t?!), you’re in for a treat.
So grab your coffee, sit back, and let’s chat about these fabulous finds!
Chic & Cozy Athleisure—For Running Errands in Style

This set is so comfortable you’ll feel like you’re wearing pajamas—but you’ll look like you have your life together.
Let’s talk about these Cashmere Blend Ankle Pants. If you’re anything like me, you love an outfit that feels like pajamas but looks like you actually made an effort—and these ankle pants check all the boxes. The cashmere blend fabric is plush and cozy, with just the right amount of stretch to keep them comfy without getting baggy. The elastic waistband sits comfortably without digging in, and the ankle length is perfect for adding flats or sneakers.

Cashmere Blend Jacket – The zip-front, drawstring waist, and ribbed detailing give this jacket a more put-together than your average hoodie, but it’s just as comfortable. The details add a bit of an edge, and the fabric is thick enough to keep you warm without feeling heavy. Did I mention that it has POCKETS?!?

Wow! Switching up the pants made a world of difference. It went from a soft and cozy vibe to an elevated and polished look. (PS: the pants will be described below)

This Cashmere-Blend Cap-sleeve Top is the perfect example of how subtle details can make all the difference. At first glance, it’s a simple neutral sweater—but the soft, tonal stripes add just enough interest to make it special. The cashmere blend fabric is luxuriously soft, draping beautifully without feeling bulky. The high neckline adds an extra touch of coziness, making it ideal for layering under jackets or wearing solo on those crisp winter days. You can dress it up with chic trousers or keep it casual with jeans, it is a closet essential for easy, everyday elegance.
Navy & White Chic—A Classic Never Goes Out of Style

Gurls, this look is so classic and polished that I feel like I should be sipping tea with my pinky up. Navy and white are a match made in heaven, and this outfit proves why.

Contrast-Trim Lady Tank – This isn’t just any basic top, Gurl—it’s the unsung hero of layering. It’s soft, breathable, and the perfect weight for wearing alone or under jackets. I love that it’s fitted enough to tuck in but not so snug that it clings to every lump and bump (because, let’s be real, nobody wants that).

Contrast-Trim Lady Jacket – This jacket is the definition of timeless. The tailored fit is flattering without feeling stiff, and the contrast trim makes it look effortlessly put-together. I love that it has a little stretch, so you can move comfortably while still looking refined. Plus, it instantly makes you look polished—even if you just threw it on over a t-shirt.

Button Flare Pants – These pants are great for now and later. The gorgeous cream color will be one you’ll wear a lot this spring and summer. The pants have just the right amount of structure to hold their shape, but they’re flowy enough to be comfortable all day long. The fabric is thick enough that you don’t have to worry about anything showing through. (to be on the safe side…wear nude-colored underwear) I sized up to a 1, but I think my usual size of .05 would have fit better.
Tweed with a Twist—Channeling Parisian Chic

If I had to describe this outfit in three words, I’d say elegant, effortless, and oh-so-chic. I think the outfit has a Chanel vibe; all it is missing is a large amount of pearls. Adding a silk scarf and a bold lip would really let you lean into the Parisian moment.

Navy Tweed Lady Jacket with Gold Buttons – Gurls, this jacket deserves its own standing ovation. The rich navy color is universally flattering, and those gold buttons? They’re like little jewelry pieces built right into the jacket. The fabric has a little texture, giving it a luxe feel without being too heavy. Wear it over a dress, jeans, or even tailored trousers—this jacket is as versatile as it is stylish.
Sequins and Faux Fur Vest—Because We Deserve Nice Things

Have you ever seen an outfit that looks more perfect? This simple sweater and jeans look manages to look chic, polished, and put-together. That’s not an easy feat with just two items!
High Rise Wide Leg Jeans – A good pair of dark-wash jeans is like a best friend—you can count on them for everything. These jeans have a flattering high-rise waist that smooths and elongates your torso, while the slight stretch ensures they move with you. The darker wash makes them dressier than your average jeans, which means you can wear them to a nice dinner just as easily as you can wear them on a casual weekend. The wide-leg cut is a refreshing change from tight jeans, giving you that modern, elongating silhouette that looks fabulous with boots, sneakers, or heels.

Sequin V-Neck Pullover Sweater – This sweater is truly a statement piece. The fabric is buttery soft and breathable, which means it keeps you warm without making you feel like you’re trapped in a sauna. The neutral shade is incredibly versatile, pairing beautifully with everything from dark-wash denim to chic white trousers. The fit is relaxed yet polished—loose enough to feel cozy but not so oversized that it looks sloppy.

Faux Fur Vest – This vest is as soft as it looks. The plush fabric adds a touch of elegance, and the cut is so flattering—it gives you that cozy layered look without adding bulk. It’s perfect for tossing over a sweater or even a fitted dress. I love the unusual color, and it looks great with the sequined pullover sweater.
Green & Embroidered Denim—A Little Boho, A Lot Chic

This outfit is fun, feminine, and just a little bit artsy. If you love adding a touch of personality to your wardrobe, you’ll adore this look.

Georgette Ruffle-neck Blouse – This top is soft, floaty, and just the right amount of dressy. The subtle pleating at the neckline gives it a sophisticated touch, while the relaxed fit makes it perfect for tucking in without feeling bulky. The shade of green is also stunning—it’s vibrant without being overwhelming, and it flatters just about every skin tone. I liked it so much that I ended up ordering it when I got home.

Applique Decorated Denim Jeans – These jeans are what I like to call a “where did you get those?” piece. The embroidery detail adds just enough charm to make them feel unique, but they’re still versatile enough to pair with so many different tops. They also have just the right amount of stretch, which means they move with you without sagging by lunchtime.
Gurls, Chico’s really hit it out of the park with this haul. Whether you need polished pieces, casual staples, or cozy layering essentials, they’ve got you covered.

Switching the first look to the pants, absolutely!!! That was my favorite look, hands down. I have had a lot of success with the fit of Chico’s pants. I always get their regular ankle or crop length, which ends up being perfect for me as a petite. 🙂

Tania,
Thank you for sharing the Chicos try on haul. Seeing the outfits on you is inspiring and makes me want to try new things!
The cashmere blend leisure suit is lovely. But, the green blouse is pretty awesome!
I love Chicos! It is the retailer I go to if I want to order over the internet and get a fit I want. I hate returning items that don’t fit! I already have the navy jacket with the white trim! I did not buy the shell because I hate sleeveless. You should feature the deinm/ponte jacket. I also bought that. I have a couple of tops that have the cotton/cashmere combination. they fit well. they are a little bit heavy for Florida where we have chilly but not cold weather in our winter. I think white and navy is a classic combination!
Navy and white is soooo classy. I love that jacket, and I’ll check out the denim/ponte jacket.
I LOVE the navy and white trim jacket and tank! It looks so classy.

All of the outfits look great on you but I am in love with the first one! It looks like something I would have to make myself “not wear AGAIN tomorrow”!….like you would just want to wash it and put it back on!
Agreed! I’ve been known to do that when I’m staying at the house. 🤣
