CELEBRATING 100 YEARS
The trip to Tennessee was LONG. Joe was soooo disappointed because he thought he was going to get to fly his airplane and the trip would have only taken an hour instead of 5 hours. However, the weather was not very cooperative and it wouldn’t clear up long enough for us to fly. Awwwww, I hated that so much. Lol!
The really bad thing about the weather moving in is that it has really done a number on me. I am so tight and tense and I have a headache that won’t go away. But, because I am dedicated I am still doing a post. I won’t swear that it will be the best post that I have ever done but it will be a post. Haha!
This dress came from Cato Fashion’s but it is no longer in stock. I really love the colors and the pattern of the dress BUT I was really worried about the style of the dress. My stomach region is my largest area so I was afraid that the tight fit would really let that show. However, I was pleasantly surprised that the dress actually looked decent.
I know this is a short post but as I said, I don’t feel that great. The good thing is that the weather is supposed to be cleared out by tonight and be good for the rest of the time that we are here. Tomorrow is the party for my grandfather who is turning 100 years old and I sure hope to feel better by then. Pa’s actual birthday is on Sunday but because I usually travel home on Sunday the party was planned to be held on Saturday. Who knew that an eclipse was going to coincide with the party and that I would be staying until Tuesday? I hope to have pictures for you all to see on the blog Monday so be sure to check back then. You won’t believe Pa is 100 because he doesn’t look a day over 80.
You know when you put a post on FaceBook you wait to see if you will get any “likes” or “hearts?” That is how I feel about my blog. Leaving a comment and pinning a picture to Pinterest is my equivalent to a “like.” If you share my post on FaceBook that is a “heart.” Show me some love, gurls!!!
The comment section is at the end of the post, so keep scrolling. I look forward to reading all the comments, they make my day. Be sure to follow me on Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.

I have been following your posts for almost a year and I look forward to them everyday, but do not apologize for a short post. Happy Birthday Pa! Wow, amazing! Hope you feel better soon Tania.
I love that you use fashion from Catos. An excellent place to buy trendy current styles that are popular for maybe one season at a reasonable price. I like to spend more money on clothes that have a timeless look. These I refer to as classic or timeless pieces. I am 63 but I love your style because when I copy your style designs I don’t feel dowdy but young and hip (well as hip as one can be at my age). Thank you for getting me into the colorful and fashionable world of 50+!
You look amazing! I am new to your blog and need fashion inspiration. You are so cute and fun. I look forward to each post! Have a fun day!
