CASUAL EVERYDAY OUTFIT
The weekend is here, and I couldn’t be happier! I have nothing to do, and I have no plans at all. Isn’t it great when you have no schedule to be on and no one pushing you to get something done? The only thing that I wish I had was a big fire built in the fireplace so that I could curl up with a blanket on the couch and read or watch HGTV. The little gentleman that I bought firewood from has had health issues, so I don’t have any wood to burn except for some that are probably waterlogged from sitting outside. You should see how Joe tried to light the fire the last time our wood was waterlogged. If you are on FaceBook, go here to watch. Lol!
I think that my cleaning mood has rubbed off on Joe. He has been going through old papers and getting rid of them at his office. So far he has been wearing all of his clothing while he has been doing this, but I have warned all of the employees to knock before going into his office. Lol! Joe found some old papers where my son, Joseph, had taken a test back in 2001 or 2002. The good news is that he scored 98 on the test. The funny thing is that his teachers must have had a sense of humor because where he was supposed to fill in the date…he wrote, “Who Cares.” ? I am shocked that he didn’t get in trouble, but I guess they were used to kids being kids. Lol! Any of you who are teachers, or are retired from teaching, my hat goes off to you. I can’t imagine having a whole classroom of Joseph’s. He was cute as a button, mischevious, a charmer, and couldn’t care less about school work. How teachers manage to shape those little minds and not lose their minds is beyond me.
Did you see yesterday’s post? If not, then go back and look at it because this is the second part of the look. Today, I took the same cardigan or duster and made the outfit into a casual everyday look. I added a mustard-colored tank top to the look which picks up on the tiny bit of yellow in the cardigan. This is a top that you will see me wear a lot. I wore this on a post last week (here) with a denim jacket. This color is perfect for the fall and winter, but it still looks great in the spring and summer. I love clothing items that are versatile.
Someone asked me yesterday if I would reimburse the one-time enrollment fee for a new PC, and the answer is YES! I decided to extend my offer of refunding the 19.95 enrollment fee until 12:00 midnight PST. You go to my website (here) and place the order, click the box to Join PC Perks at checkout and then let me know how you would like your reimbursement sent to you.

I got a big kick out of this video!!!?? That blow torch??? it’s definitely a man thing!!
We have a wood pellet stove, so much easier!
Great colour combination! Love fireplaces but got fed up with wood and went gas. I have it going most winter nights.
My mom and sister went with gas also, but I love the ambiance of a real fire.
Now that is just adorable… love the colors!!
Thanks, Carol. I love pairing mustard and wine together.
Enjoy your lazy weekend. Its lovely to have days like this. Emerson looks to have grown taller. She will be turning into a blogger herself.
Thanks, Jill. Yes, Emersyn has really grown, she is getting very tall like her daddy.
