CASHMERE HAS ME COZY AND WARM IN THE SNOW
I got my snow!!!! When I woke up this morning, the first thing that I did was run to look out of the window. It was early in the morning and dark outside, but I could see that snow was on the ground. I felt just like a kid and broke into a happy dance for a few seconds. Thankfully, Joe was still asleep, so he didn’t see me acting like a crazy person. Lol!
I walked next door to get my DIL to take a few photos of my outfit for me, and my grandson came outside with us. He was busy having a blast while his poor sissy was inside having to do virtual school. Now that the school systems have the ability to teach virtually, you can kiss snow days goodbye. No more getting to play hookey from school on snow days. I get it, and I understand, but half of the fun of going to school was those snow days. Just like I did this morning, I can remember running to the window to see if it snowed and then doing a happy dance when I saw the glistening snow. I hope that the school systems will throw the kids one or two snow days and let them still be kids. Do you want to build a snowman??? ☃ ☃ ☃
Last year about this time, I wore a faux fur reversible leopard coat that was so pretty. I love that coat, especially since it is reversible, which makes it very versatile. But, I love the lighter neutrals of this faux fur coat, and I think it looks softer in appearance. This coat is a little shorter than the other one, but it still comes to my knees, and it is very warm and cozy. You are bound to get compliments galore in this coat and turn a lot of heads. I am wearing a large in the coat because I wanted it roomy enough to wear a sweater underneath.
Did you see the pink sticking out from under the coat? It appears that I am in a pink frame of mind this week since this is the 3rd day in a row that I’ve styled pink. I’ll try to see if I can branch out in a different color tomorrow. Lol! This lightweight v-neck sweater is gorgeous and is 100% cashmere. I love a v-neck sweater since you can wear a button-down under it for a different look. This is a relaxed fit sweater, so the medium fits me great. I also ordered a bright blue and a neutral-colored one to add to my growing collection.
I am wearing a pair of skinny ankle jeans from Chico’s in today’s look. They are comfy and fit me great. I love the color of these jeans, not too dark and not too light. I always have to size down in Chico’s clothing, so I am wearing a size .5 in these. These jeans also come in a light washed color if you are not a fan of dark wash. I like both colors, but I feel like a dark wash jean is dressier than the light wash version.
I love the Vince Camuto pointy toe suede slouch boots. The leather boots have a 3 1/2 inch block heel, which might be too high for some of you. I’ll try and link to a few similar options that have a lower heel. However, I do think that the block chunky heel is easier to walk in than a stiletto, so maybe you should give it a try. These boots run the tiniest bit small, so they suggest sizing up a 1/2 size. They fit me fine, just a little loose, but if I wore a sock with these boots, they would fit me great.
Did you happen to notice this beautiful lambskin handbag by Vince Camuto? I am sure that you did, and it is just as gorgeous today as yesterday when I carried it. Lol! I love black and gold together, and I think it looks luxurious and elegant. I also love how large size this handbag is and how it has so many compartments. The lambskin leather is very soft and subtle, and I think this is a handbag that you would carry for years.
Do you see my cute little photo bomber??? I love how he is standing with his hands on his knees and looking around me to see his mommy. Grandchildren sure keep you laughing.
My jewelry for today is simple. I am wearing a pair of my favorite hoop earrings, the ARI. I am also wearing the Rue long necklace, the Maggie bangle bracelet, the Elisa necklace, and the gold vermeil chain and cross charm.

That is great to hear. I have been on a pink kick here lately.
Oh,Tania you were the most scrumptious outfits every day! Do you ever get tired of it?
Heck no!!! I love dressing up and taking photos. It is a blast.
What an adorable little photo bomber!!
Absolutely love that jacket!!!
Do you mind telling us what brand bra you are wearing? The sweater looks beautiful!

Do you know the color name of the pink sweater ? The one on the website does not look as bright
It is Pink Shock!
I am jealous! The snow fall all stayed about 45 minutes north of me, closer to the TN state line. I saw a few flurries when I took the pups out for morning potty, but that was it.
This snow isn’t pretty, but at least it was snow.
I love your new coat this year. The outfit is perfect. Your grandson is adorable! I just received my Cheers T Shirt that you wore on your wedding anniversary. I even bought the black heels you have from Ann Taylor. Love them !
Yay!!! I love it when I hear that you love items that I’ve worn.
You look fabulous in that bright pink! Enjoy your snow.
Thanks so much, Paula!
Tania – We don’t get snow down here in Durban, South Africa, you look absolutely radiant and happy, look forward to your daily posts – Enjoy Sweetheart!
Wendy, I don’t get a lot of snow, but I get enough to satisfy my craving. I hear it is gorgeous in South Africa.
This is what I would call a perfect outfit from head to toe! Absolutely me! I remember snow days well with snow drifts as high as the house sometimes! As an adult I dread having to drive in snow but thankfully I am able to work from home during the pandemic so that helps. I hope kids today still get the chance to experience snow days. They were so exciting!
I used to love snow days, and I hate it that the kids aren’t getting them right now. Things will eventually go back to normal, but I am afraid that schools will still want them to log in virtually when it snows. Oh well, maybe they will get out earlier in the summer.
