CAN YOU WEAR TIE-DYE WHEN YOU ARE OVER 40
Friday was one of those days where I couldn’t get anything done. I had all the time in the world, but I kept getting sidetracked with nothingness. My morning started really well, and I was proud of myself for going out to my office to work by 9:00 am. But, then I realized that I had a conference call at 10:00 with someone that I am working with, so I had to get prepared for the call.
The call lasted for over an hour, and by then, my head was spinning with all kinds of new ideas. I can’t wait to start implementing these ideas, but they will take months to get them in the works. Then, Joe wanted me to come and gather him a “to-go” bag because he was going golfing. He drives to the golf course by himself, rides in a cart by himself, only uses his clubs and his ball, and never touches the flagstick. So, he is pretty safe in this activity, but he gets hungry before the 18 holes are over. The to-go bag today had 4 oranges quartered and put into a baggy, a snack baggy of roasted peanuts, a couple of peanut butter and cracker nabs, and a couple of granola bars. Because the oranges would be sticky and messy, I also threw him some wet paper towels in a baggy so that he could clean his hands. Awwww, aren’t I a good wife??? Lol! Of course, it also gets him out of my hair for the day. Hahahaha!
Once I got him out of the house, I jumped back and forth from one project to another. By the time I looked up, it was already 5:00, and I couldn’t tell you a thing that I had gotten accomplished. Please tell me that I am not the only one who has good intentions but lousy follow-through.
With all of the craziness going on in the world right now, I thought that we all could use some LOVE. The minute that I laid eyes on this lace-up sweatshirt, I knew that it was going in my shopping cart. I love the baby-blue color of the sweatshirt, the lace-up details on both sides, the different colors on the cuffs, and the gorgeous spring colors on the LOVE letters.
I made the mistake of ordering this in size large because I wasn’t sure how it would fit me. But it is too big, and I had to return it. I am going to order a medium before it sells outs, and it “will” sell out because it is only 10.99! This is a nice weight sweatshirt, and it is super soft and comfy. So, grab it while you can, here is the link. Just in case you are someone who lives in a warmer climate, or you don’t like sweatshirts, I’ll link some other similar items that you might like.

I ended up having to size down in these shoes, so I am wearing an 8.5 instead of my usual size 9. Here is the link to these sneakers.
Emersyn was over visiting last night, and she wanted to help me with the blog. So, I am going to let her type you all a message

All of this hand-washing and mask-wearing is taking a toll on my skin. Psalm 91:8
8 You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.

Ermersyn thank you for your sweet positive message. We all need that right now. I finally went for a drive by myself for ideas for my yard in a neighborhood I like. Spring is bursting out! And some people put teddy bears in their windows for kids on walks or drives to spot and count. I have two and felt better seeing others so I knew it really was a thing. I really liked the fun tie dye! Especially in pastel. Why not feel fun at home.
Happy Monday to Emersyn~ she did such a great job with her post! Thank you Tania & Emersyn for keeping our spirits bright! xoxoxoxo
Just reading Emersyn’s message! please tell her THANK YOU for thinking of us!
Tania loved your post today ,reading your beautiful little granddaughters post was amazing she did a great good thanks for sharing with all of us brought some smiles to our quarantined lives
I loved the little message. My darling granddaughter Ariel used to write me little notes. Now she texts pictures of the food she cooks lol. Or asks for recipes. The little texts are such a joy. I’m missing her so much, she’s only 6 hrs away but it seems like a continent to me while it’s not far, what with what’s going on here it may be ages before I see her except FaceTime. This is the same grandchild who FaceTimed me to get me to show her how to put the ink in her printer! It used to be mine so I guess she figured I’d know how. I would have looked on YouTube haha. Hug that little one tight while you still can cuz she’ll grow up and go to college and poof be a grown up lady!
Liane, I told Joe that before we know it, she will think that we are old. I am enjoying every minute that I can right now!!!
Oh my goodness what a precious message from Emersyn! How old is she now? All grown up!
That is a very different and cute sweatshirt! I love the X’s laceups on the sides! I have a pair of those sneakers and love them too. Do you have a hard time keeping them clean?
She is six going on sixteen. Lol!
I could never get away with that outfit, but you look adorable in it! Maybe I would wear it only in the house…..I love the way you are “up” and share such fun snippets out of your life! I have had to teach myself (and I say it to myself frequently) “Finish ONE thing at a time”! While I am doing one thing, I think of another and can tend to jump around. The self talk has helped and then I am not so frustrated at not getting any one thing completely accomplished. Love your grand’s message. What a sweetie! Have a great weekend!
Sharon, I don’t have training in fashion or anything else for that matter. So, if I didn’t talk about my family, what would I talk about? Lol!
Joe is lucky he gets to golf. They haven’t opened up the golf courses as an “essential” service yet here in Alberta. My husband is keeping his fingers crossed. Stay safe!
The golf course has made it where everyone has there own carts, and no one removes the flags. I am glad that he can use this as a stress reliever.
such a cute message, Hi Emersyn! we love you too. Tania that outfit is so cute I just love it. I don’t usually like pastels or shirts with messages, but I would get it in a minute.
Mary, I loved the shirt! I am not a huge fan of LOVE, but I liked the way that it looked on this shirt.
Thanks Tania for your happy and uplifting posts! I look forward to them every day. And thank Emersyn for her addition to your post. It made my day!! We love her, too! ❤️
Cristy, she loved doing the blog. She felt so big.
