CABLE KNIT SWEATER VEST

We made it through another weekend. It went way too fast for me, how about you guys? It seems like I was really busy, but I can’t think of a thing I accomplished. Well, I did get out a few fall decorations, and I did clean out a cabinet that was stinky. I also got to spend a couple of hours with Emersyn, so I guess I had a good weekend after all.Is a cable knit sweater vest still considered stylish? Truthfully, I don’t know, and I really don’t care. I like this vest, even though it is really old, and it was what I wanted to wear today. This vest has always been one of my favorites, because of the cable knit and also the color. I don’t know if this color is considered camel or caramel, but I like it no matter which. This vest is by Ralph Lauren.

I have on a necklace set from Plunder today that matches perfectly. The Dalia necklace, Cecelia bracelet, and the Dotty earrings are a set that you will be able to wear all 4 seasons. This is a gold tone set, that has stones in the colors of topaz, baby pink, and gray. The bracelet is made so that you can remove extra links to make the bracelet smaller. This necklace extends to 22″, but I wanted it to hang lower. I took a 7 inch bracelet and attached it to the necklace, letting it hang to the length I wanted. I just tucked it all under the collar, and no one knows the difference. Except all of you, that is. Haha
This shows a little better the colors of the set, and you can see that I only have one link in the bracelet. It could expand by two more links. I like how these companies are figuring out ways to accommodate a wider range of us ladies.

(BTW, I made a video of my closet(s) for you gurls, and I will show that to you in the next couple weeks) I decided to do a LARGE cuff on my jeans today, instead of rolling them up twice in a smaller cuff. I know I am looking really pale right now, but I had a spot taken off for a biopsy, a week or so ago, and I don’t want to put any faux tanner on. Joe told me the other night that I was glowing in the dark. Lol!

The wedge booties I have on are by Isaac Mizrahi. They are extremely comfortable, and they have a nice buckle detail.

You knew I wouldn’t be content to just try on one pair of shoes. I would love to start wearing some of my fall booties, but it is still in the high 80’s most days. I would burn up! So, I switched shoes and put on the (c/o) Nina shoes crochet knit sandals named the Nevaeh, that I love. Now my little piggy’s could breathe again. I noticed I also need to have my toenails painted. Dang, I am getting lax. Remember, Nina shoes are offering a 20% to all my gurls, you just have to enter Nina50 at checkout.

I am carrying a pop of color in my cobalt blue cinch tote. I don’t normally like a purse with this type closure, but I loved the color and the zipper detail. I bought it from a local vendor, the same one where I bought my ivory purse. It is faux leather, but that doesn’t bother me in the least. This is not a purse that I envision me carrying for years, it is a purse for right now.

Me and Emersyn went to get some frozen yogurt on Saturday. She saw me outside, and came running. “NeeNee, can we go for a ride in your car?” She doesn’t really want to go anywhere, she just wants to watch her video in the car. We hopped in, and headed down the road to get some frozen yogurt. Just wait till you here what we did on Sunday, Emersyn loved it.
