ARE BOOTCUT PANTS THE BEST CHOICE FOR YOU

As I walked back into the kitchen, Joe was taking off his sweatshirt, and he was struggling to keep his undershirt on while taking off the sweatshirt. I walked over to help him pull the undershirt back down, and that is when the mean streak in me kicked in. While he had his hands tied up in the sweatshirt, I put the cold freezer roll up against his side, where the undershirt hadn’t been pulled down yet. LOL! The look on his face, not to mention all of the foul words that came out of his mouth, was too funny. I was quick to move out of range because I knew that if he could get a hold of me that I was in big trouble. I know that I should have felt guilty, but I couldn’t quit laughing long enough for guilt to kick in. Hahaha! I know that he will eventually get revenge, but for now, I am the Queen of Mean. LOL!!!

am wearing an old pair of chunky heel ankle boots that I bought from Old Navy several years ago. I am ready to upgrade soon, and I am watching the sales for just the right pair. These have been great, but they are starting to show wear and some stains are on them. These are faux leather, and they have held up great for the price that I paid for them. I love this style of boot, especially with the chunky heel. For those who have problems wearing heels, the chunky heel in your best option.
The leopard button-up shirt adds visual interest to this otherwise neutral outfit. The shirt is not a pop of color, but it is a pop of print. I think that by adding the shirt to the outfit that it upped the style factor 100 percent. Leopard print is stylish, and it is a classic print that is always appropriate to wear. The print might be more popular at times, but it is still a print that you can wear from now on. I bought this shirt last year from Chico’s, but it is no longer available on their website. Instead, here are some that are extremely similar. Here is where I wore the leopard print shirt with jeans, and you can get a much better idea of how the shirt would look without the sweater.
The pants that I am wearing are a pair of dark brown corduroy pants from Kut From The Kloth. I have had these for over a year, and I still find myself reaching for them a lot. These are a bootcut style, so I wore boots under them. Lol! The bootcut leg is flattering for most people since it will balance out your body proportions better than the skinny leg will. But, the boot cut is tough to tuck down inside a knee boot, so both boots have their place in your wardrobe.
I was thrilled that all of you were so receptive to the try-on haul that I posted yesterday. I got several private messages from ladies wanting to know if I kept everything that I order. The answer is NO WAY! For one, I don’t have room in my house to keep everything that I style. And, secondly, not everything ends up fitting me right. Plus, I want to make sure that the items that I do keep are things that I will wear again on the days that I am not taking photos. It is hard for me to restyle items for the blog because the items are sold out; today’s post is an example of that. I only order things that I like and that I would want to keep…and I keep waaaay too much. LOL! And, I wanted to remind everyone of the new feature in the Menu bar: Shop My Post. You can click on that and see the latest links, or use it as a search engine to look back at previous outfits.

If you haven’t subscribed to my daily email reminder, why haven’t you??? Let’s remedy that right now, enter your email, and I’ll send you ONE email per day. Also, please pin one of my pictures on Pinterest so that others can find their way to the blog. The more, the merrier.
