AN OUTFIT MEANT FOR RELAXING

I took a day off on Sunday. Well, I sorta took a day off because I still wrote Monday’s blog post, but other than that, I chilled by the pool. Joe and I went to church Sunday morning, and then my Energizer Bunny Friend came over, and we floated and talked. You have no idea how unusual that is for me. It was relaxing, and I almost felt guilty. Lol! I sat there thinking about all of the things that I could be, and probably should be doing, and I thought, “it will wait until tomorrow.” Just call me Scarlett. Lol!
Then Monday rolled around, and that “tomorrow” was suddenly today. Lol! I knew that I was going to be going to work at the lumber company, so I got my rear in gear to finish addressing all of the samples that I had promised to the ladies asking for them. I always go to the bank and post office for work, so I wanted to have all of my packages ready to send out. I used to use stamps.com, but they now charge 17.99 a month for their service, and that is ridiculous. So, instead, I figured out how to create labels using PayPal, and I stuffed lots of samples into pretty gold metallic packages. The lady at the post office was brand new, and I broke her in right. Lol! By the time that she had finished scanning all of my packages, she was curious as to what I was doing. Of course, I had a sample for her in my purse, and I told her that I would be back the next day with even more packages. Postage is pretty expensive, and each package ends up costing close to 3.00, but I guess that is better than the old days when it was by pony express. Lol!
Do you recognize my top? I wore this not too long ago (here.) This cute boho top was c/o Luckybird clothing company, and I knew when I first saw the top that it would be cute with jeans. I threw this on Saturday when I had to do some errands, and I felt comfortable and fashionable in my top. The top is part of the Stevie collection, and here is the link to the top.
Can you believe it??? I didn’t put on any jewelry for today’s outfit, not even earrings. Lol! I don’t take off my Tiffany bracelets since they are too hard to fasten. My necklace just happened to be on from the day before, so I left it on. But, in case you were wondering about my glasses, they are blue-light glasses which are made for people who stay on their computer or phone a lot. That would be ME!!!
My distressed jeans are a couple of years old. I bought them at a local boutique, and the brand was called Sneak Peek. I have looked for them online before, but I haven’t been able to find the exact ones for you. These jeans have the perfect amount of distressing for me. They have lots of distressing, but no huge gaping holes. For you who hate distressing, wear a top with plain jeans, it is YOUR choice.

Another reason that I wanted to wear this top again is that I forgot to announce the winner of the home t-shirt that I had when I wore this shirt the first time. Whoops! Sorry!!!
