I resolved for 2021 to try new retailers, so when Appleseeds reached out to me, I was eager to give them a try. It is funny that today’s “new” retailer is actually turning 75 years old! This Anchors Aweigh V-Neck Sweater is exactly what I need for spring weather. I love the anchor motif, and it makes me think of sailing with a warm breeze and calm blue waters. The bright white anchors pop off of the deep navy background and look perfect with my white pants. The v-neck, cuffs, and hemline are all finished with ribbed trim, and the sweater has small side slits for ease of movement.

When this sweater arrived, I was immediately impressed with the quality of the sweater. I thought for a minute that the sweater was reversible since it is double layered. This is a wonderful example of the quality of the sweater. Since I wasn’t sure of the sizing, I ordered a large in the sweater. I would rather something be a little big on me, as too small. I probably could have worn a medium, but I like the larger size since I will also be able to wear a button-up shirt under it if I choose to.

I love the look of the Dennisport stretch twill pants. Twill pants are trending, and so are straight-leg pants, so these are a win, win in my book. This is an updated version of the classic twill pants, and I only have good things to say about them.

I wasn’t sure about sizing, so I ordered a size 8 and a size 10 to be sure that I would get one to fit. The 10 ended up fitting me perfectly, and I think that the 30″ inseam is perfect to wear with my summer flats. These have a zip fly and sit at your natural waist for a comfortable fit.

The pants come in several colors, including a beautiful buttercup yellow pair that is high on my radar.

You know that I have been trying to wear more flats lately, so these Bandolino navy flats were the perfect choice for this outfit. The shoes are crafted of leather, suede, or gorgeous patterned fabrics (there are lots of choices in this flat), and they feature a 1/2 heel. I know that you ladies who love low heels will love this shoe.

This stylish pair of flats will look great with jeans, dresses, skirts, shorts, and cropped pants. They are very versatile and a classic design that won’t go out of style any time soon. I am wearing my usual size 9, and these fit me great.
