A CASUAL FRIDAY OUTFIT THAT WILL WORK FOR ALMOST EVERYBODY
I hope that you are also following me on Instagram, and especially my Instagram stories. My Instagram feed will probably be a repeat of the outfit you see on the blog, by my “stories” are where you get a glimpse of my life. Yesterday, I mentioned that I had recently purchased a set of jewelry and that after I had opened the jewelry, it went missing. As I was videoing the story, it dawned on me that I had been looking for the wrong jewelry bag. I thought that I had bought something from Lilly Pulitzer, and instead, it was from Kendra Scott. The bags were on top of my makeup counter in plain sight. Lol! I had looked everywhere for the colorful Lilly bags and had utterly ignored the Kendra Scott bags. Lol! Can anyone else relate?
I thought that I would bring you a casual Friday look today. Does anyone still do “casual Friday,” or is every day a casual day? Here is a casual Friday outfit that will work for almost everybody. Of course, every workplace has its own dress-code, but if you can wear jeans, then this one is modest enough for most companies. The one item that I don’t own a lot of is t-shirts. I’ve never been much of a t-shirt gurl, but I am finding myself wanting to wear them more and more.
I recently went online to Old Navy and bought several tees that I can wear around the house, or even out and about town. I ordered all of the tees in a large because I wanted them to be roomy and comfortable. I also picked the ones that I thought would be soft and cozy. This one doesn’t have a tag in the neckline, so that helps to keep you from that “scratchy” feeling. This top has a curved hemline that helps to cover your hiney, or you can wear it tucked as I did in several of the photos. This tee is the everywear graphic tee, and it comes in several different designs.
You know that I’ll be wearing jewelry even if I am in a graphic tee. Lol! But, I want you to see how much nicer and dressier the jewelry makes you look. I added the Veronica crystal-studded hoop earrings and the Beckett gold link bracelet from Kendra Scott. Kendra Scott needs to put me on her payroll since I’ve become so obsessed with her jewelry. Lol! I also added a neutral beaded bracelet that is on an elastic band from Chicos. I like bracelets that I can put on and take off easily. These type bracelets are especially nice if you have arthritis and struggle with the clasps on bracelets.
The large leopard print flats that I have on are also from Old Navy. I have had these shoes for several months, and they are starting to get limited in sizes on the website. I like any shoe that I can slip on and head out of the door, and these also add some style, so they have been a favorite. I’ll link to a couple of other shoes in this print just in case your size is already sold out. I am wearing my usual size 9, so this runs true to size.
I don’t tuck a shirt in often, and I hardly ever wear a belt. I even had the opportunity to get the Gucci double GG belt that you see a lot of bloggers wearing for free (thanks RF), but I decided to get something else since I wouldn’t wear it enough. The only that I am wearing is the Perfect Medium Leather Belt by Madewell, and it is a nice size and weight. I am wearing a medium which is plenty big enough for me.
“What jeans do you have on?” Ummm, I’m not sure which jeans I am wearing. Lol! I forgot to write down what I wore, and these photos were taken at least a week and a half ago. Since I have no idea which pair I am wearing, I’ll link to the ones that I’ve recently purchased, and hopefully, it is one of those. Lol!

Please put me on the list! I also would like to get some info about the lash boost. I used that a while back and loved it! I had signed up, but haven’t done it for a while (started doing La tisse —no where near as good!). it was the best thing for my lashes.
I got you added! There is a lash boost/brow boost bundle that will be available. And, when you purchase that, you’ll also get a free Bright Eye Complex. That is going to be a HUGE special.
