3 WAYS TO WEAR CROP FLARE PANTS THAT YOU’LL LOVE
I love white pants, and I wear them all year round. I’m so happy that the outdated rule about not wearing white before Memorial Day and after Labor Day has gone by the wayside. While I love regular and ankle-length pants, it has taken me a while to love crop flare pants. Today, I’ll show you 3 ways to wear crop flare pants, and I bet you’ll start to love them too.
WHY WEAR CROP FLARE PANTS
When crop flare pants first came on the scene, I thought I would NEVER wear those ugly pants. Lol! Fast forward a couple of years, and now I have learned to embrace them. The great thing about these pants is that you can wear any style of shoe with them that you want. This style of pants looks great with flats, sandals, wedges, heels, sneakers, and boots. Basically, you can wear them with anything in your closet!
I’m always disappointed to see an item that I’m styling has sold out, but it is a sign of the times. I can only hope that one day our supply chain will be back to normal, but until then, we all have to learn to adjust. Wearing navy with white is a classic color combination, and I wear it all the time. This blouse was from Banana Republic Factory, and I love shopping there because the quality is incredible for the price you pay. Here are a couple of other blouses from there that would give you the same look.
A sweater vest is a wonderful addition to your wardrobe since it can be worn all year round. In the summer, I wear them as a sleeveless top, and in the winter, I either wear a long sleeve shirt under them, or I wear them under a blazer. Versatile clothing is how we stretch out dollars and make them go farther.
Of course, this gorgeous sweater vest is out of stock; what’s new?!? They do still have a Navy and White long sleeve sweater in stock. I ordered the long sleeve sweater, and it is soooo thick and heavy; it is of unreal quality. However, it runs really large, so I had to return the medium for a small, and I’m crossing my fingers that it fits. It is way too heavy for now, but I’ll be glad I ordered it this fall.
Navy and White cable knit sweater vest.
This one is almost identical, so I think it is a great option.
You can’t see me, but I am sitting here shaking my head and laughing. Yep, this Canva Tote Handbag is sold out too!!! This one is from Amazon, and they are good about replenishing their inventory quickly, so I’ll go ahead and link to it in case it comes back in stock.
Oh my goodness, something is actually in stock!!! These White Kick Flare Pants and Studded Slide Sandals are BOTH in stock! These kick flare pants are unique in that they are lined with a silver material that makes them non-see-through. According to the website, this Silver Lining technology provides 100% opacity so that you can finally stop worrying if someone can see your underwear. I love the look of these pants, but they seem to run a little big to me. I usually order a large when ordering from SPANX, but these swallow me, so I returned them, and a medium is headed my way.
Finally, I want to show you a way to wear crop flare pants dressier. Before you say anything, I know that I should have chosen a different pair of shoes. Here is the deal, I was too lazy to walk up the two flights of stairs to grab a different pair, so I made do with what was in my office. (I’m a total slacker!)
This Double Breasted Blazer is heavy-duty, just like the sweater I mentioned above. I have blazers that are similar from other brands, but the material of this one was different…better. I’m wearing a size 10, which I think would be great even if I was wearing a long sleeve sweater with it. Most sizes are already sold out, but if you are tiny, a size 0 or 2, then you are still in luck. I’ll link some other blazers for the rest of you.
Here is the length of the blazer for those of you able to purchase it.
I wore these Statement Tassel Earrings with every outfit. I’ve been shocked at how much I like them and how often I wear them. I’m also wearing the Davis Gold Multi-Strand Necklace (I’m only wearing 2 of the strands); I’ve worn this necklace for years. My Lilly Pulitzer Cane Tote is one that makes a statement. I won’t carry this all of the time, but for special occasions, this is going to be the WOW factor.
Don’t forget the July Specials I’m having for my Rodan + Fields Skincare that I use daily and have for the past six years.

I would love a more affordable choice for the crop flare pants/jeans if you have one ?
Also with these being the main style right now how should we go about purging our closet from older styles? You know what I mean ? Something’s are classics but some maybe not
Always hard to decide what to get rid of:)
Thanks and love your site!
I didn’t notice any information about the sandals with the large jewels in your first styling of the white crops. May I ask the brand of the sandals?
Kim, those are from Chico’s, but they aren’t on the website any longer.
So happy I found you! Many years ago, I lived in Abingdon as well 🙂
Abingdon is a beautiful little town.
My husband does the same thing with weed pulling. Throws it in the yard, make yard look crappy.
Glad to know it isn’t just mine. Lol!
Love all of the outfits….this blazer and the plaid one from the Nordstom sale are both beautiful, but I struggle with the style of them, not sure if the shoulders are padded or longer length or what, something about the style that’s changing……thanks for your fabulous work.
Probably one of the changes has been in the pants. Pants are relaxed and have more wide-leg looks, and skinny jeans are not as popular. Try wearing a straight or slim cut with your blazers, and I think you’ll be happier.
I love those Spanx white pants but $148?? I tend to look at how long it would take me to ‘earn’ that much money at my job and then decide if its worth it….answer here is ‘no way’! Any similar product to suggest to get that look??
I understand, Sue. Here is a pair from Walmart https://bit.ly/3P70GRz, and here is a pair from J.Crew Factory https://bit.ly/3RCPA8C
Both of these look nice, and will give you the same look.
Another great post Tania! Look, it’s not your fault that the supply chain issues are still so bad, and I hope that no one gets mad at you about it. I’d love to see you do a post with your crop flare pants where you wear different types of shoes, such as sneakers, boots, etc. Thanks!
I know it is disappointing to see something you want and then it be sold out. I feel that way myself a lot.
Navy and white is one of my favorite combinations. Such a classic look! I got the Spanx white crops that were in the N Sale….love them! I’ll have to try the silver lining version next time.
Donna, I love SPANX clothing. If they had a bigger assortment, I would almost wear nothing else. Lol!
Loved your post today. Crop flared pants arn’t always my favorite .
They have grown on me, Connie.
I sure miss your daily reflections! They lift me up for the day.
Kathy, there are some days when I have nothing to say. Lol!
