2025 Spring Trends I Plan on Wearing
Spring is right around the corner, and that means it’s time to refresh our wardrobes with the latest trends! I love keeping my style modern but still comfortable, and luckily, the 2025 spring fashion trends are both wearable and chic—perfect for women over 50 who want to look put together without trying too hard. Let’s be honest, some runway trends can be a little out there, so I’ve done the hard work and narrowed it down to the ones I actually plan on wearing this year that I think you’ll love, too!

Pastels
You gurls already know I love my neutrals, but there’s something about pastels in the spring that just feels right! Soft powder pinks and sky blues remind me of Easter eggs and blooming flowers, and they instantly brighten up an outfit. If head-to-toe pastels aren’t your thing, try a pastel blouse with white jeans or a pale pink handbag for a subtle pop of color. Pastels also play really well with navy to make one of my favorite combos!

Fisherman Aesthetic
The fisherman aesthetic is really just about easy, relaxed pieces like cozy sweaters, breezy linen pants, and boat shoes. Think coastal grandma meets New England’s preppy style. This means lots of nautical stripes, woven accessories, and all the tote bags! It’s effortless but still looks put together, and that’s always a win in my book. I’ll be styling this trend with a striped tee, crisp white jeans, and my new woven flats!

’70s Boho
I love a good retro moment, and the ’70s boho trend is one I’ll definitely be incorporating this spring. Maxi dresses, flare pants, and platform sandals? Yes, please! This trend is all about relaxed silhouettes with a little bit of a free-spirited vibe, and I’m here for it! I’ll probably be dipping my toe in with some fun flowy tops and wide-leg jeans—easy, comfortable, and stylish!

If you love wearing leggings on a daily basis then you’ll love the elevated athleisure trend! This isn’t just your old gym clothes—it’s comfy, but polished. Polka dots are back, and honestly, did they ever leave? They’re classic, playful, and so easy to wear. Whether it’s a dotted blouse, a flirty dress, or even a fun polka dot scarf, this print just adds a little extra something to an outfit. I’m eyeing a black-and-white polka dot midi dress that I can dress up with heels or wear casually with sneakers. It’s giving modern Audrey Hepburn, and I’m here for it!

I FOUND IT! I must say I really don’t like the wide leg pants design. I really don’t feel that at my size I could wear them, and as trends go, I think this trend will be gone very soon! I stick to classic styling in pants. My hip area is my worst asset so I don’t like drawing any attention to that area!

I like the stripes which is continuing from last year. I’m going to wear the powder pink and blue. My hair is now natural (silver and gray) so I’m going to need more color in my life. I like some 70s styles like the flare and wide leg jeans and boho tops.
