Walk a Mile in My Really Cute Shoes
I am so glad each and every one of you stopped by to visit with me today. After all the kind comments you ladies have been leaving me, I am surprised that my head still appears to be the same size. Lol! No kidding ladies, you all rock!!!
It is a lazy, laid back kind of day. That translates into, jeans, a shirt, and a vest. Pretty simple, huh? The tunic (fancy word for long shirt) is several years old and is from Old Navy. I am really glad you can’t see the shirt up close, because it is starting to have that nasty pill look. I keep looking for a replacement for it, the color is winter white, but so far I keep striking out. Here is a similar top, just not in the right color. Hahaha
This knitted vest came from Ross’s last year. My two bestie’s and I were shopping, and Sandy had already gone ahead of Bertha and I. We were walking in as she was leaving, and she declared, “there is nothing in there”. Bertha and Sandy went to the car, but I insisted in going inside to look. Even though I was hurrying, I managed to find this awesome vest. Morale of the story, “There is always something to buy if you look hard enough”.
The necklace was still on the card this morning. It said Redwood, and had a price tag of 10.00. I haven’t got a clue where I picked this up, but I wish I bought more. I really like all the different layers. This one, and this one are similar.
I am wearing a couple gold bracelets. The link bracelet, and the bangle, were from TJ Maxx,. Here is a link bracelet from Amazon. Here is a link for the tortoise bangle.
I bought these shoes on my trip to Atlanta at a place called the Glitzy Chicks. They sold the shoes, and I had them monogrammed with my initials. You can’t see the monogram, it is on the tongue. No, they are not converse, but I think they are adorable. My black purse is called The Sak.
This is a prefect shopping outfit. I still have quite a bit of shopping to do, so I am headed out the door.

Love, Love, Love your style and stories! Would love to be entered in the contest for the blanket scarf!
P.S. I saw that you mentioned going to Blacksburg, I have a son in college there so I get there pretty often. I was wondering if you know of any good outlets around there? Thanks again! Have a great day!
I have a pair of brown plaid chucks, get compliments every time I wear them. Can’t beat a cute pair of comfy shoes!
LOVE the shoes! I started wearing PF Flyers again this year (not as cheap as they were back in the late 60’s and early 70’s though!) I even had the nerve to wear them with boyfriend jeans here recently 🙂 Booyah! Who says we can’t still rock it when we’re in our 50’s!
What a pretty vest! Really fits the holiday season!!
Thanks Debbie!
You look great as usual Tania. I love how you had your sneakers monogrammed, I loved it on the boots you were wearing the other day too. That vest is cute too!
Super cute!!! I love the red-perfect for Christmas shopping!
Super cute outfit for ‘bee-bopping’ around town shopping! Comfy, yet still has a little flair!
BTW. Talbots still has a sale with one item 50% off if you want to replace that top because it is beginning to pill. You know the quality will be great and it won’t pill. I just replaced a couple knit tees.
Thanks, Sharon, for the tip about Talbots. If I don’t find something today, I will check that out. I do have a lady that helps me with cleaning on Fridays. She doesn’t have to stay very long, since it is now just my husband and myself. But when I did have to do all the cleaning, it was usually in yoga pants and a t-shirt.
Love the duster and what a great look for shopping and still being able to shop ’til you drop because you are wearing comfy shoes. I am still trying to find a layered necklace that I love. The one you are wearing is great. I don’t want to order from the internet because I want to know exactly what quality I am purchasing. Okay, I have to ask. Do you cook or clean and what do you wear when you do? I dress up every day because I just feel better when I look great but I do have outfits that I wear to cook and clean the bathroom. Just curious . . . 🙂 I’ve never had the luxury of a cleaning lady . . .
That is a very cute outfit!
Thanks Donna and Penny!
Wow! this is such a cute outfit, headed shopping asap to find one just like it, especially the shoes, soooooo cute.
I love your look today. You look so casual and comfortable. Now, I’m busy trying to figure out what I can put on today. Enjoy your shopping!!
