You had me at Chunky
Chunky sweaters and corduroy. An absolutely perfect fall combination. I love the sienna color of these pants from Old Navy, although they list them as burnt ochre. I thought I would like these leopard print kitten hills with this outfit, also from Old Navy, but they just don’t seem like the right choice.
This chunky sweater was purchased at TJ Maxx. I love shopping at TJ Maxx!!! I can always find name brand items, at bargain prices. This sweater is an Elsamanda Italian sweater, and I bought it for $49.00. That is honestly about the most I pay for sweaters. I prefer affordable items, when I pay $50.00 for a piece of clothing, I really like it. The chunkiness is a plus, but it was the cowl neck that sold me on this. I wore a long sleeved knit shirt in the same color tone under it, but had it been warmer, I would have just worn a camisole. I looked for a similar sweater, and this was as close as I could find.
I switched the leopard pumps for my favorite riding boots, and I immediately felt more at home. I think the boots just scream fall.
I wanted to give you a better look at my vintage bracelets. The one on the left is made from bone. It has the look of ivory, but not the price tag. I am not sure what the stone is, but it is a nice fall color. This bracelet closes with a sliding pin. The bracelet on the right is a wooden bangle. I am wearing a vintage cameo ring also. One of the great things about vintage jewelry is, it is usually great quality, and you don’t see everyone else wearing the same items.
These earrings are new, I purchased them at Cato’s for $3.99. The neckline of the sweater made it difficult to wear a necklace, I tried long and short. A necklace just seemed to take away from the cowl neck, so I pinned on a vintage pin instead. This pin is perfect for the fall, and it has matching earrings. The earrings are clip on’s, and clip on’s are aggravating to wear if you answer the phone all day, so I opted for the dangles. But just look at this pin’s colors, it is truly gorgeous.
Bring on the cooler temps, I’m ready!

I’m really impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself? Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it is rare to see a nice blog like this one nowadays..
Obviously your TJ Maxx is better than our TJ Maxx!! I can never find anything. Love this fall look!

Fantastic Fall look, Tania – I love all the extra touches that make it so pulled-together and chic.
