WINTER WHITE HOLIDAY STYLE
It is the time of the year when people are attending Christmas parties. Some parties are dressy and formal, and others are casual and easy going. On Friday night, Joe, Ashleigh, and I all attended a casual Christmas dinner at my Energizer Bunny Friend’s house. I do not like to cook, but EBF loves cooking and baking. If you are going to someone’s house for dinner, it is terrific if that person likes cooking. Lol!
After a wonderful meal, we were entertained by EBF’s daughter who brought out her XBox 360. I found out that she is an excellent boxer and she beat Joe several times. Lol! THEN, we moved on to bowling, and we had a blast. All of us women had on big sweaters which turned out to be an issue with the machine. It kept telling us that we threw the bowling ball up into the crowd. Bowling used to be a game that I enjoyed, and I swear that I never threw a ball up into the crowd. Haha! I may need one of these machines for Christmas so that I can practice my bowling moves.
This winter white outfit is perfect for a fancy Christmas party! The great thing about this outfit is that it is beautiful and affordable!!! This soft, cozy poncho from c/o Cato Fashion has a small metallic thread that is woven into the fabric for a festive feel. I am wearing a winter white camisole under the poncho since it is open on the sides. It is a one size fits all, and you can find it HERE.
For this dressy Holiday outfit, I added pearls and crystals. I love the Nola pearl earrings that I am wearing today. These are studs, and they are 1.35 inches. I have on two necklaces, the Alicia pearl necklace, and the Vienna delicate old necklace. The pearls and the gold match the poncho perfectly. During the holidays you can’t go wrong with adding bling. I added 4 of my magnetic bling bracelets, the Opal, the Flynn, and two of the Pamela ones.
The Ponte pants have a pintuck crease down the leg. I like it when the crease is built in, and I don’t have to try and iron one to achieve the look. These pants are soft, and they feature a straight leg. You can wear these pants with flats, or you can wear them with heels as I have here. These sequinned shoes add a wonderful holiday look but can be worn later on also. I usually size down one size when I buy this style of pants, and I am wearing a medium, and I am wearing my usual size in the shoes.
I will be showing you how to take this same poncho and style it for a casual Holiday look, be sure to check back tomorrow. Also, if you didn’t see my post yesterday, then you might want to go and check it out. I will be donating a couple of charities as a way of giving back this Holiday season, and I am asking for suggestions.
