WILL IT GO ROUND IN CIRCLES

Happy Monday y’all. I am in my countdown phase for my BIG trip this weekend. I am sure you are already sick of hearing me talk about it, but you are going to be sicker before this week ends. Lol! I am super excited!!! Because I work in an industry that is busiest in the summer months, I don’t get a lot of vacation time when it is hot. A trip to Panama City Beach is going to be wonderful, probably scorching hot, but wonderful!I am one of “those” people who wait till the last minute to pack for any trip. I am starting to think about items I need, but I have not actually started the process of gathering anything together. I know there are several items that I need to take with me, like a gallon size container of bug repellant. Sunscreen and a hat are also on the list, but after that I get a little hazy. I’ve never attended anything like this, so you ladies that have, need to help. I don’t want to go in lugging a 50lb pack of items that I will never need, but I don’t want to be dying to use the bathroom and find out that there is no toilet paper to be found. While you gurls are busy making me out a list, I will go ahead and tell you about today’s outfit. I wore this a couple weeks ago, you can tell by the really old finger nail polish. Haha I have had this top for several years, and I still like it, even though I don’t wear it like I once did. I like the turquoise and yellow, I know that is a real shock, and I like the circle pattern. The material is silky, so it feels good on your body.The straps have good coverage, so I am not always tucking a bra strap back into place. The top is by DressBarn.

Here is a closeup of the pattern, but more importantly, a closeup of my necklace. I don’t think I have worn this necklace before. I am not a real big fan of the bright silver jewelry, it has just never been my thang. This Shelena necklace, however, was purchased because of it’s saying, God is Within Her She Will Not Fail. My black bracelets are two that I bought in Marietta at a tea shop on the square. You can buy them from Christian Books on line. They are called By The Book bracelets. Each one has a different reference to a bible verse. The silver Organic link toggle bracelet is from Chloe & Isabel, and the leather bracelet was also bought at the same little tea shop in Marietta. I think I will be going to Marietta again in October, and you can bet I will be going back to this little unique shop.I am wearing a pair of black Sole Society gladiator sandals. I wore them earlier in the summer with a pair of dress shorts (see here) and they looked cute. These shoes really “up” your fashion game. These are not your run of the mill shoes. They will get noticed, and you need to make sure your toe nails look cute when you wear them. Lol!I changed shoes on you gurls. Did you notice the change? These are some old shoes that are by Kathy Van Zeeland. They are very, very old, but I still love to wear them. I would hate to show a closeup picture, they are kind of ratty. The black ankle pants are pixie’s from Old Navy. These are great to wear even in the fall and winter, you just have to wear them with boots.

It’s time to get back in the groove at work. I will be leaving on Thursday and driving to Atlanta to spend the night with my sister, before heading on down to Panama City. Did I mention that I am going to the (c/o) Pepsi Gulf Coast 2016 Jam?!!! Hahaha
